That is why I almost agree with Andeabingham...when she thought that might be unlikely. Why would a person let someone with a history of wreckless driving, without a valid license and intoxicated...drive their car. Was that car actually MR's car or MR sr's car?? I'm just not used to folks of that age not living on their own and driving their own vehichles ect....when I was that age I was self sufficient..paid all my own bills...no handouts. Maybe that is just a trend in the younger generation??

If MR was actually drunk, too, I doubt he would be sensible enough to care about who was driving his car. And, yes, it has been said that the new 18 is 22 years of age. Very few young adults in my area are able to move out on their own because of either expense or coddling.

Does MR actually live with MR SR??? Just making sure he does live with his father since he is the typical age when someone would live on his own? Does CP live on his own or with his parents as well. Just curious as I don't remember if we haven't heard from his parents on all of this... just MR's father spoke to the media. I'm not sure I can remember seeing an actual address for either.
I'm sure it has been a source of tension for all families involved.

I believe MR lives with his father

CP is 28 years old. I believe his family is in NY state.

After giving it more and more and more thought .. you know .. it really chapps my be-hind to think of how arrogant CP is ... he has a criminal jury trial coming up in Oct for a serious accident while driving without a license and in an unregistered vehicle and was arrogant enough to get behind the wheel AGAIN, allegedly after drinking, if indeed he actually did drive Kortne home after dropping MR off like he said he did ... Does the law NOT apply to him in his mind OR does he think he is above the law?? Not good traits to posess if you are linked to a missing persons case if you ask me.

:( My apologies for the inaccurate map of MR's residence .. it was taken from a Facebook tag .. shame on me .. I guess I figured they should know where they live ..

No apology necessary. Really.

Boy, if only someone could ask a neighbor....

1. Was Kortne's car home all weekend
2. What car did Kortne and CP arrive home in at 200 am

  • #447
Snipped By Me from PBJ's post:

Here's the thing though. None of the neighbors witnessed MR when KS arrived home. Did he come later?

Agree PBJ. What MR, Jr did or did not do later...I have no opinion on that yet.

  • #448
Wouldn't the neighbors have told LE if MR had been at the house as well as the sleepover guy, when the altercations were taking place? Why say you were not there if there were witnesses? I do believe he was dropped off.

Oh and again to add that while I'm not taking up for MR at all, I myself have made poor judgement under the influence. Meaning that he may love his car to death but could have been wasted enough to throw caution to he wind. I have let someone at some point drive my car that I wouldn't have done in my right mind. Just weighing alllll sides. :-)

Yep! Been there, done that! :)

I have to keep reminding myself of their age. MR is silly enough to post his own phone number on social media. Jut really immature young boys really. Not that they couldn't be guilty. Right now I'm just not feeling it. I want to though. It should be a slam dunk.

  • #452
yep...thinking we are on the same track...doubting they ever seperated. But then again...MR sr said they did... so it must be true????

Respectfully BBM

My speculation that MR, Jr did not return to Kortne's apartment in his vehicle with Kortne and CP is not based upon Sr's assurances.

It's based upon, at this point in the case, there have been no indications from the downstairs neighbors, nor from Kortne's father, that MR, Jr was on the scene during the first altercation that morning, nor that MR, Jr drove his own car, with Kortne and CP in tow, nor was MR, Jr at Kortne's during the hours in question.

  • #453
Hey maybe MR dropped off Kortne and CP drove Kortne's car home? And it was hidden at first because of CP's pending legal issue? Maybe initially it wa hidden because if by chance they are being truthful they didn't know the seriousness of what is transpiring? Random thought. Blame the Smirnoff.

I don't know how old MR, jr is but CP is 28. If Kortne has been friends with CP for couple of years (she would have been 19 and CP 26)....my 20 year old thinks 24/25 is a lot "older" than she is....they seem to have been going on with their lives....either really didn't have anything to do with Kortne's disappearance or very brazen

My question is, aren't most people to have last seen someone that is missing sometimes named a "person of interest"? So perhaps LE have their good reason(s) for not naming sleepover guy???

Sorry for my rambling.....I don't understand LE's silence...

  • #455
I did forget that CP is 28. I personally think that if they have no involvement, they are eh about it. Probably no emotional attachment to her and maybe even trying to steer clear of the topic period. They don't want the guilt stigma attached. Again they not be innocent. Just a thought.

Really, silence surrounds the case. No friends speaking up and not even a lot of concern fr her friends it seems.

I don't know what LE has going on but if I saw her or knew her I'd be VOCAL about it. On whatever site I could.

One of the panelists on the last JVM show dealing with the case said something pretty insightful about this. He made the point that officially labeling someone a suspect or person of interest will many times cause them to clam up and get a lawyer. It may be a smart strategy that LE is using to keep players cooperating with the investigation.

rumors rumors rumors.. we don't like them here. If you posted a rumor kindly police your own post. Thanks, please, and all that stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only people mentioned on MSM as having lawyers are her family and TS. Her father continues to be very vocal.

You would think that the $30,000 reward could possibly sway someone into talking to LE, especially if anyone was out partying and getting a "little loosed lipped" but then again, no one likes a snitch...or then again, perhaps what has been said by CP is truthful...

  • #459
Rewards almost never work. People who know things that are useful enough to be able to claim rewards are generally involved in the crime.

The silence from LE might make one wonder if they are investigating within the department; not saying they are, but good grief, what are they doing?
