I do not have a theory as to how MR managed to be back at KS's place unseen, but continue to believe that he did. . .because the alternative makes no freaking sense and goes against everything I/we know about the players in this case. In my opinion, in general, guys who are obsessed with their cars just do not allow unlicensed, drunken, dangerous driving friends to drop them off at their house, before their friend goes home with a hot girl who they used to sleep with. Please.

Actually, I do have a couple of theories as to how this is possible:

1. Incorrect reporting
2. Omission by police, etc.
3. MR dropped CP/KS off, returned later
4. MR somehow managed to be unseen
. . .

I believe police must have thought along the same lines as I'm thinking, at least originally, otherwise they would have had no reason to search MR's house.

Great thoughts Andrea but I'm playing devils advocate today. I'm bored at work.

Ok - let's assume guys in general like their car - from what I've read, his car is over 8 years old. I'd be more in tune to believe the hype about his car if it were at least 2010. Unless he has rims and a system - which may be the case. If that's the case, yes, guys in general are obsessed. I still think MR would let his boy drive his car. If we are going with the theory of sharing girls - cars are nothing. It seems that MR and his boys are very close. Brotherly almost. Just speculation here - no facts and I don't live in Palmyra.

But boy I wish I did. At least for a few days! ;)

Yes, CP may be unlicensed but I can attest that in no way has this forced him to stay in and read the bible. He is out nightly with friends having a good time per MR's updates on social media. Not that CP is driving per se but at some point the boy has got to get from point A to point B. Just random thoughts here. Definitely not ruling them out by any stretch of the imagination. Just am NOT feeling the guilt vibe. yet. or at this moment.

I don't know how common it is for one of that age to have "relations" ahem with a female and then encourage or be ok with a friend having relations too.

Just doesn't make sense but I'm a female and I'd be jealous or uncomfortable.

Either way, I don't see it as "go ahead, go take one for the team but remember she has a boyfriend."

Unless the theory is that Kortne was attacked by both. Again- witnesses attest of a friend being there. Yes, I suppose MR could have went back at a later point but when?

Someone called the cops and it was already really late. Doors weren't opened. If MR went back there shortly after Kortne confronted TS I would think he would have been seen.

IF MR is involved at any level, MY OPINION is that he helped after the fact to cover up, hide, provide aliby.

So in my mind, I'm down to CP or a neighbor.

Sorry for rambling. Hope I'm making sense. I feel like we could all be in a room talking about this right now and appreciate that on this thread so far we all get along and have respect for different opinions. It's nice!

Just a few rambling (mumbling) thoughts ..

A tad over a month and "we" are no further in the investigation ... breaks my heart ... no pressers .. no "official statement" from LE .. no "official" searches .. why?

Everyone here (that is posting on Kortnes thread) is so nice ... comforting

Any Hershey locals know anything about Bindnagle Road?

My heart breaks for this family ... and all of those who are enduring this kind of heartache ... I just can't even imagine!

*Did Kortne "meet up" with the "unnamed officer" while she was outside having a cigarette to calm down during a second drive by responding to the second call? Did she give him a piece of her mind? To me .. until LE comes forward with an "official" statement naming and clearing all officers and their whereabouts and times .. I will entertain my own possible theories .. (althought I realize they don't owe me an explination) ;)

Just another point of view on the reward money .. if it gets high enuff .. someone that is in the know will get greedy enuff! IMO

Had one experience with regarding a Crimestoppers tip .. a family member turned in a dealer who was later convicted along with several doctors for writing the scripts and was denied the Crimestoppers reward money due to the fact that they went directly to the cops instead of calling Crimestoppers first ... unbelievable ...

Bindnagle Road runs from 743 over to Gravel Hill Road. It's pretty secluded and dark and runs right along the Swattie (Swatara Creek) for a bit. Some people use it as a shortcut but I don't think it's too frequently traveled.

I don't believe that an extra few thousand in the reward fund is going to make a difference.

People have commited heinous crimes for less than a few thousand dollars .. someone in the know and in the "need" .. just may want an extra buck or two at a time they are short a few bucks ..

IMO .. MR Jrs car has been returned right? That tells me they didn't find anything of any evidentary value in it .. Has KS's car been released? Anyone know?

For some weird reason I was looking at a satellite map of the route between Palmyra and Penn National and that road jumped out at me ... hhhuummm .. I sent my friend a text and said we should check it out .. but haven't had a few hours to do so ..

MR Jr's car was returned to him but I haven't seen any updates about the status of KS's car since they impounded it.

Okay, great points. Then we can conclude the only reason to add the detail about dropping MR off is to cover for his whereabouts for that period of time. Hmmmmm....

Did MR, Sr. Confirm MR came home at the time MR and CP maintain?

MR, Sr indicated that MR, Jr came home around 2:00 or sometime after 2:00...IIRC. I got the impression Sr didn't actually see Jr when he came in. I may be wrong.

More and more I get the feeling the LD don't want Kortne found. They aren't searching and I think the family should start using the lawyer to get some answers. Makes u wonder if there's a cover up going on here.....

It's not, and it wouldn't be ok, ESPECIALLY with someone as attractive as KS. There are some less attractive girls that they might be willing to share around but not a prize like KS. In my opinion, MR would never, ever, ever, ever let his friend go home alone with KS.

Andrea - this is what baffles me. If MR has had a past with her and wouldn't share her, are you saying it's a possibility that together they premeditated an attack of some sorts?

Otherwise, it just wouldn't make sense. To me. In this theory if CP is guilty, MR is too.

That would in my mind mean that the motive was sex and it was pre-planned at least while out that night.

Grrr, I don't know anymore.

Who brought her car back?!! Who else had a set of her keys?

I assume her BF had a set of apartment and car keys. If he did not take them when he was arrested, they'd have been in the apartment and could have been picked up by someone at the party KS hosted that night, or anyone who was in the apartment after they left the bar.

I know someone who did this. Instead of giving her name, she said that she would call back about the reward if her tip DID solve the crime, and would "prove" her identity by saying she was "Mary Poppins" so they would know it was her. THEN she would provide her real name so she could get the money.

LivingJuicy,

I do not believe MR and CP would premeditate an attack on KS. I believe, if either/both was involved, it was a violent accident of some sort.

The neighbor and the arrested kidnapper who lives within a mile deserve to be considered. . .but both of those scenarios would require KS voluntarily leaving the apartment for some reason. . . and I'm not so sure that she would do that without her shoes!

BBM:

I still think she takes her shoes and cell phone if she goes out for a cigarette. I have the feeling that someone like her with mysp and fb accounts is probably always checking her phone to see what is going on or what everyone else was up to that night.
:moo:

My DD smokes. She is 20, so I can't forbid smoking entirely. I will not allow it in the house. She hasn't got a "smartphone", so when she goes out to smoke, she not only rarely wears shoes, but she takes her iPod with her instead of her phone since she can use it to get online to check Facebook and stuff, which she can not do from her phone. It also enables her to listen to music while she is outside.

Andrea -

Ok, with that said, what type of violent accident? If we are saying that CP wasn't alone and that MR was there too, what accident could occur unless it was an attack that led to accidental death.. If that's the case, there would have to be some type of plan for both of them to be there. I can only see this happening if it were sexual.

Which is why it doesn't make sense to me because they have known each other for a while now. A couple of years or more. I'd be more in tune with this theory if they were fairly new friends/strangers.

Andrea, since you know of these guys - what would be a possible scenario (violent accident?)

I just picture her being bare foot and running to hear car. We've all done it.

Is there anything really new in the article? It won't let me read it unless I subscribe now...all I saw is that two underage drinkers were arrested that day...

They were arrested at Kortne's apartment around 9:30 p.m. That's probably what prompted the call to Lebanon County Probation, which led to her boyfriend being taken into custody.

PD- Did you see the comment at the bottom of the article? What do you make of it?

Chief Stanley Jasinski Jr. said officers were dispatched to Stouffer's apartment three times in the hours before she disappeared, not two as had been previously reported. also stated that she was with 3 men that not not 2

With all of these kids knowing and spending time with Kortne, I find it difficult to believe that someone doesn't know something that can move this case forward and bring her home.

It sounds like the 1st incident was a noise/party complaint (not 911 call) at 9:30PM and that Kortne was with several people at a party at her house. Later in the evening, is the hardware bar, etc and according to MSM, the 2 men previously reported were the last to see her alive.
