My best guess is the chances of us seeing anything beneath the top sheets of the search warrants is somewhere between slim and none, at least until the investigation is concluded.

On another note, as a local, I want to again thank all of you for not giving up and pressing on to find answers and most importantly, to find Kortne. Tomorrow night makes 7 weeks. Maybe this will be the week.

Her parents should go back to JVM or Nancy G...i think theyd be more po'd at the virtual stonewall LE has put up than anyone and for that reason alone ,ay push the right buttons to get answers. Even her dad Scott says that LE has nothing new to go on, that nothing is happening. Its crazy.

I'd still like to see more of a push with the local media and the parents...JVM and Nancy Grace are not really the powerhouses some people think they are, probably have less viewers than any larger city local news market. Also the pressure on LE would be more intense, IMO, if it came locally, from their own community. I don't understand why the media waits around for info these days, instead of demanding it, or at least, investigating and trying to get it in other ways.

Not sure but I worked with Public Records for many years and I believe they do not have to release during an ongoing investigation, it could compromise it.

The first 911 call was made at 3:12 a.m. for a disturbance and indicates that Patrolman Timothy Lengle arrived on the scene 3 minutes later. The dispatch record provides no additional details other than the officer reported he was leaving the scene at 3:49 a.m. - about the time Stouffer was last seen, according to a borough police news release issued

Derry Township police Sgt. Bob Demmel outlines the search area with a volunteer before hearing out to search for Kortne Stouffer Wednesday. The Palmyra woman has been missing since July 29. (Jeremy Long / Lebanon Daily News)about 60 hours after her disappearance.
The EMA log states that borough police were called back to Stouffer's address for another disturbance at 4:12 a.m. and left at 4:36 a.m.

Palmyra police Chief Stanley J. Jasinski Jr. was not available for comment Wednesday afternoon, and a police representative said there was no record of a citation or arrest made at Stouffer's apartment at that time. The same representative said a Freedom of Information Act request would be required in writing to acquire the borough's dispatch log information.

Here, an LE rep is saying that the FOIA would be required to acquire the dispatch log info. That is what I am requesting, though have not had a reply as yet, although I wonder why the media did not do this long ago, or if they did and were refused, why they would not report on it. Am disappointed with media, as well as LE in this case, although media disappoints me in general these days.

JVM and NG tend to create more questions than they answer. True investigative reporting like you talked about is what's needed on a local level. Not sitting back waiting for LE to announce a PC and then just "reporting" that.

Well, I guess the bottom line is that if its going to take the local media to up the ante and press for answers then its not going to happen...they are simply not interested, if there isnt a reporter passionate for answers about Kortne, then there def is no reporting....and there DEF is NO local reporting.

As with most cases...it is up to the family. Marc Klaas (Klaas Kids) has always stressed that the family has to be the driving force for attention, for media, etc. I wonder if they have contacted his group, or TES. I have a feeling that Kortne is not especially far away from the general local area. Her disappearance seems to have taken place at an unusual time (middle of the night) and whoever is involved would probably have wanted to be back to their normal place before daylight.

I have a feeling that Kortne is not especially far away from the general local area. Her disappearance seems to have taken place at an unusual time (middle of the night) and whoever is involved would probably have wanted to be back to their normal place before daylight.

always wonder why that video was pulled and not others right around Kortne's place....if she is missing by her ownself, wouldn't LE want those tapes to prove that theory....but no, they said they asked for the tapes to late in the game...

Not sure what you are asking?
My understanding is that by the time LE asked for tapes, the data from that date was gone. I doubt that the business owners even review tapes, unless there are signs of an attempted break-in, etc.

why did LE not go immediately to business and ask for tapes?

If they had, would they may have seen individuals/vehicles coming/leaving?

Was Kortne on any of the business tapes?

But we will never know.

Tapes could have also shown/not shown the LE check at around 4:30 am....

But they did get tapes to back up CP's story....

This case is a study in frustration for me ... LE needs to hold a pressor, even if it's just to say there is nothing new. Why are they so silent?

I think they are so SILENT because they know who came to get her but they cant prove it yet, and I think this is how they came up with their kidnapped theory. Would also explain why there are no searches!

It could also be they know that the person that took her would not harm her!

all just a thought!
