this can't be on the 2nd page already
WE NEED NEWS!!!!

things are just too quiet......
Don't jog/walk w/ earphones b/c then you can't hear what's around you...It's scary, isn't it? I feel like we in general feel like we are in a bubble here in central pa. Eg, my ex-SIL thought it was ridiculous that I locked the doors when I was babysitting her daughter at night. I see women running or walking alone in isolated areas (like a wooded park) with headphones on and the music loud enough for me to hear. People don't lock their cars. I could go on and on about this as this "it can't happen here" mindset drives me crazy...possibly because I am a little paranoid...but I understand why many people (IMO) feel this way. I hope I don't offend anyone because I know that central pa is safer than many places; I just can't imagine leaving stuff unlocked or not trying to be aware of my surroundings when I'm running. :fence:
I was really hoping for an update, anything. No way do I believe Kortne "took off".. someone knows where she is........
I just read an interesting quote today that I needed to hear and thought I'd share with all of you.
"Dont be discouraged. Its often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock." Author Unknown
Somebody out there has that key.
I don't like it one bit; when I come to Kortne's thread and see no new news or updates. It really pizzes me off that LE refuses to release any information....more so that there are no real investigative reporters anymore...what happened to asking why, why, why until you get some answers. Sorry for the rant but I am so frustrated.
Kortne, where are you???
Perhaps it was different for us in south Louisiana. We can be closely related. Several groups, the majority French speakers, coming from either Canada or France. Spain. First Nations. Africans. The same religion, seperated by time & culture. In any room of 50 people you can be blood related to 25, & through inter-familial relations or friendships, you can find common ground w/ the other 25. It began as a rural, agrarian society. We hold on to that it a time of crisis. Inter-connected by our culture, we all reacted & demanded the same: find her, & if not, find who took her.Haven't posted in a while, but I check the thread and PennLive daily. It's frustrating to see no forward movement. This may be a long shot, but would a grassroots movement get results? I'm not even sure what I mean -- a petition, a peaceful sit-in at the police station, a city/borough council meeting, etc.?
