Do you mean her family or local people in general?

As a local person I don't feel comfortable "making a fuss" if that isn't what her family is doing. If there were more volunteer searches or fundraisers I would be there. If there was a petition to sign or a vigil I would do that too. But I feel like if her family isn't doing or calling for it, there must be a reason even if it isn't known or doesn't make sense to me. I don't know if that is right or the best but there it is...

The family does not seem to want to find Kortne. They have not responded to offers of help. I am outraged.....but I feel it is not my place. Sad, so, so sad!!!

Kortne's mom does have a post that I can see from Jan. 31st, saying how she is still missing Kortne.

My frustration is that her family is no longer making public pleas, not returning calls to the media for interviews, no longer holding vigils .. nothing .. they have gone silent.

Her friends are no longer posting .. her Prayer Page and Come Home pages are barely active.

Law Enforcement or the DA aren't making any statements.

It just seems like everyone is ok with her being missing.

Yes .. I saw the LDN post on her moms facebook page. Like I said before .. she states that she is Still Missing her Baby Girl .. BUT does that mean that her baby girl is still "missing"? Is Kortne somewhere on her own and her mom is relaying a message that she misses her OR is her mom telling the public that her daughter is still missing? If she's still missing why are they not shouting it from the rooftops???

Wish there would be some new on here. I don't know, thinking maybe if she is found it won't be in the area there, seems like if that were so she would have been found by now. Not much on here anymore but I still think of her.

Just to add to Fireside's post, Ali Lanyon has a story with new information, airing tonight at 5 pm on ABC 27. Hoping for some good news or at least a lead in that direction.

EDIT: The promo for the story on the 12:00 news referred to "possible criminal activity" at Kortne's apartment the night of her disappearance and included a snippet of Scott Stouffer expressing his disbelief that those close to her have no information.

Well, looks like CP just spent a few days in Jail recently for possession with intent to deliver. This is after a second DUI.

I won't mention the other one because he's only tangentially related to the case.

I truly hope it sparks more than a "review" of the case .. but I think it will be just that. At this point .. it's a blessing just to have anyone keep her story out there though!

Lets hope LE is on their "A game" regarding this case and is squeezing CP hard .. either that or he is the unluckiest person in the world to catch a DUI and a Felony delivery charge within six months of being the last person to see a missing person!!!

Or what if it was as simple as him giving her something to calm her down that night and she OD'd .. he was scared because what he gave her could possibly be linked back to him. What if he is actually the only one that knows what happened to her and where she is ... He would definately have no reason to talk if that was the case.
