KB,
I am using the Attachment Manager and browsing my PC. Maybe the pix are too large. I was able to post my dog REXX to my album, but nothing else.
Scotland? I am half Scot, half Italian - how did that happen? Only in America for sure. I am a hybrid!
What a wonderful idea.
I have a question, was the baby delivered or removed as part of the killers doing? Could she have died during child birth and someone panicked?
Spr - I am not a social worker, but I have worked for the government for the last 26 years. I can't disclose details.
What I can tell you is that I was is a victim of a sex crime when I was in my teens - that got me interested in crime. My assualt was never solved.
She was exhumed in 2007 for DNA purposes. Nothing yet.
Thanks, you are talking about the baby? or Beth?
I am assuming if it was the baby's father that did this to her mother.. he must have a criminal record elsewhere.

Trishpa - maybe we can do the planting together in the spring. Let me know if you are interested.
You live in a beautiful place.
If this is a case of a serial killer does anyone think Beth Doe and "Lady of the Dunes' cases could be connected? They were both dismembered, they both had body parts removed which were never found (LOD had her hands removed), it is roughly in the same area and the two women look similar according to the composites. Just an idea.

That's an interesting idea, and the two women certainly do look similar. I thought they also looked a lot like the unidentified woman from Utah: http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/200ufut.html
Lady of the Dunes wasn't really dismembered, though. Just her hands, and that was probably for identification.
You're right. I mis-read her head as being severed from her body using a tool but it says it was almost severed. Big difference.
They do all resemble eachother. It is fascinating they were able to tell the JD from Utah moved about every two months and were able to pinpoint the areas in which she traveled just by doing an analysis of her hair.
