Ok, it is 7:17 am Central time & I'm anxious to hear what Peruvian officials charged Joran with. Of course, I'm hoping for the max. Supposedly, the deadline was 7 am today.

ok, what does this appear to mean to others?

According to his version, three hours later at 8:20 in the morning, he left the room due to the tap Primax located across the street. He bought bread and two cups of coffee. The cameras do not record the output.

ETA: forgot to bold the part I was asking for interpretation on.

I think the phrase "The cameras do not record the output" means that the cameras did not record Joran in the market". I, for one, will be talking azzbackwards soon if I continue reading these translations.

Yep. You saw it right. He was obviously trying to set up a scenario that he went out for coffee, came back, forgot his key, had to get the TAC employee to let him in the room, at which time they would both discover the body. Someone else had gotten into the room while he was out and killed Stephany. The only trouble was that he discovered the video camera and realized that the entire scene was taped. Who knows, when he went down to the desk, he might have checked the screens on the desk to see if his floor video was working. Once he knew that he was caught on tape, he continued on with the original plan, without alerting the employee that there was a body in his room. He then had no choice but to run, which he did soon afterwards.

I certainly hope we get to see the rest of the coffee video...him leaving the room to go to get it. I'll be a little questioning--- if we don't. I want to see what shirt he has on. Also would solidify the timeline.

I thought I someone reported that it wasn't $5000 though in US dollars...anyone remember???
Someone previously posted that the amount was $1700US.

quote=Mrs G Norris;5277160]He is so trying to get sent back to Aruba here onto the safety and protection of home soil. Not going to happen, if he wants to direct them he can use a goddamned map![/quote]

It too early for this..........:shocked2::gavel::floorlaugh:

Ok, I just had three different scenarios/theories typed out and deleted them. I'm on no sleep and sludge for coffee so I'm not sure it would be advisable to post what I'm thinking. LOL

However, I will post this much. There's something that bothers me about his supposed confession re: robbing her. He could've done it after they left the casino, while sitting in her jeep or pulling her into an alley while walking. Why, if he planned to do it, would he pass up those opportunities and attempt it after she's in his room, where it would be easier for him to be heard and caught?

Something's wrong with that picture.

Hoping she knocked out by a ruffie...and then he would just split???

He must be wearing the same shirt in the real going out and he must have gone downstairs to get the guy to open the door very soon after coming back, otherwise he would be going out in one shirt, coming back in another, locked out of his room, and lurking around the hallway before going down to get his key. To confuse matters even more, he may have gone out twice.

I think your right, but would love to see the other part of the video---just to confirm he wasn't confused anymore than it seems here already. :)

IMO, since the word is plural "cameras" makes me think that they are talking about the camera at the hotel and the store especially since the video of him leaving for the coffee was never released.

IMO, since this is Peru, the articles are reporting the $5,000.00 that Stephany won is in their country's money "soles". $1,720.81

I think he's been killing for money for years. It probably didn't make any difference if it was a man or woman.

BB, I think there is a strong probablity that you are right given his violent history with the family dog being reported to have been beaten to death by him, the man thrown over a bridge by him and of course Natalie and Stephany. Add in the reports of human trafficking where he is reported to have been paid 13,000.00 per female whom he brought into prostitution when they believed that they were coming to the Netherlands to become 'dancers'...and it is obvious that he has no respect for human life, morals or values. He is unable to feel any empathy or compassion. That's what is so frustrating to me when I hear the 'talking heads' say, 'No, to be considered a serial killer he must have killed 3 or more people...etc' Until his day to day activies are investigated more throughly how do they know how many he is responsible for eliminating from this Earth???

Wow! Thank you, I'm sorry I forgot who the poster was, for posting the coffee vid.

I need to watch it another 50 times, but my reaction is he really shut the door and realized he didn't have his key. I don't know where he was going, but the limp wrist knocking is saying to me, "no sense in knocking". He's looking around confused because he doesn't know what to do, he doesn't have a key. He has no choice but to get someone to help him. He looks totally out of it. :tipsy:

Why would he leave the room, on purpose without a key, only to get someone to help him back in? Did he not know there were cameras all along, and thought he should pretend he is locked out, and get someone to let him in the room. Gee look at me, I went out for coffee for us and forgot my key.

It doesn't even look like there's anything in those cups the ways he's holding them.

We really need to see the vid where he actually leaves for coffee and comes back. I wonder if its out there, or if they are hanging on to it?

Also, with reference to him having steak and ciggies, do you think maybe that's only for the benefit of Aruba officials, look at how well we are treating your citizen?

I'm amazed, how am I ever going to get any work done today!

I think we are trying to make the illogical ( a person's actions after they do an illogical action of actually taking another person's life) logical. I do think JVS is an intelligent person, just not the brightest bulb in the room when he has himself in a jam caused by his uncontrollable emotions.

The only think I could say upon viewing this video was "WOW" also. You really have to realize you are watching the actions of someone who just literally took another's life. Mind boggling.

I do have two questions after getting caught up from the last thread.

1. Does anyone know or remember if JVS had purchased his tickets for SA before May 10th or was it after?

2. Does anyone think anythink unusal about the 2 guys at the casino talking to JVS as SF goes to cash her chips in? They were over to the left, in corner. First it was just one and they the one talks to the other...If you get my drift... Sorry, it's late, or I should say early. Tired.

[bbm]

yes, I thought that unusual but only saw it once and haven't seen the video again

I need to see it again b/c there was something else I wanted to check again too

and I hear you on the exhaustion point ... I haven't slept at all but I'm waiting for those charges to be announced!

sorry if this has already been said, but i think it means that he is lying... he SAYS he went for bread and coffee but there is no footage of him doing so... only footage of him wandering around outside of his door for five minutes with empty coffee cups and pretending to knock on the door until the maid comes and lets him in... i agree with whom ever just said "EPIC FAIL" LOL! and also with the thought that he is just trying to get back to aruba... i dont know why anyone would take anything he says in regard to nh seriously... or anything else for that matter ... but all in all, i think he is just digging his hole deeper. im suprised his atty hasnt told him to shut up already??
