Is the earlier video of VDS leaving the room from when he left to get the coffee? Now this coffee video is some kind of attempt at an alibi (maybe hoping the cameras were not recording)? Is there a video out of him actually returning to the room with the coffee?

Carlos Alberto Uribe parapet.
The three are accused by the alleged crime of failure to report.


The magistrate found that Williams, Uribe Aparcana Pisconte and helped with transportation to the Netherlands have, allegedly, knowledge of his crime.

OM gosh, this has to be whoever he got rides with ... remember early on we heard about this.

Are they the people that gave him a ride to Chile?

Just about the time of the meeting on 5/10/10, apparently the power went out in the hotel. It is unclear to me at the moment, if the power was out when the $10,000.00 was exchanged or not. I know JQK stuck that part in and based on the fact that if the power went out, there was nothing on video, which may have left it as "not sufficient" evidence to charge him at that time.

For me, it made no sense why they didn't call in the locals to arrest Joran, but if there was no power to record it, then there is your word against my word at this point.

I read (somewhere) that they had him counting the 10k - twice even - on tape. I sort of took it that the power went off just before JVDS came to the room (or right before the transaction) but that it came back on in time to catch it all on tape. But who knows.

they wouldn't charge the taxi drivers w/ failure to report unless they admitted that he told them something incriminating

He should have skipped the amphetamine, it apparently messed up his ability to think this through logically. Once he saw the camera he knew he was screwed.
I don;t understand the backing out of the room with coffee still in his hand, the getting the employee to open the door, then leaving again. He had to have known the whole fake show would appear on camera. He may have been "intelligent', but he sure was stupid. JMO Maybe he thought it was a continious loop tape and would be taped over and he would be able to float his original lie, whatever that was supposed to be????

Jean C said the other night (2 nights ago, i think) that once Joran was charged he would then be given another physical and psychological evaluation prior to being moved to the prison where he will await trial.

what does outatient center in prison mean? Now that he's been charged, when will they move him to a hideous prison, where he cannot order up steak and ciggys?
