..

I linked to one picture of the National Enquirer photo a couple of days ago. It is here:

http://guanabee.com/2010/06/joran-van-der-sloot-enquirer/

The dark spot on the bed [not shown above] looks like where there might have been a struggle ... as though there was a lot of movement that deposited blood on the sheets.

Looking at various views, it was apparent that the matress was very much askew.

By the way,

Someone said earlier in this thread I think that the only blood at the crime scene was a little bit coming out of her ear/nose.

Yesterday I was in the supermarket and saw the national enquirer with the murder scene photos. The one with the backpack in it is actually a larger photo that shows more of the mattress.

In the middle of the mattress, there was a pretty significant blood stain. Probably a couple feet long, and about a foot wide.

Perhaps I will go buy the magazine so I can take pictures and post them here.

Mark Furhman indicated the scene wasn't bloody.

I heard that too but you would think a bigger deal would have been made of that fact, everywhere I read about him hes listed as a circus promoter, what does that translate to in American terms? Like a Ringling Brothers circus, or is circus translated into something like entertainment/ casino owner perhaps? I rarely see references to his political connection.

abbie

I guess what they mean by a circus promoter is just like what you said, entertainment or event promoter. I am just not sure if SF father really owns the casino. ???

Gift Basket for JVDS
AbbeyNormal, your comment about a sending him a gift basket, cracked me up!
So, let's see...what should we include in this gift basket we send to Castro Castro?
1. A little jar of rufies,
2. KY (I'm not going to elaborate),
3. A deck of cards (should we remove his ace?)
4. ...

Peggy G: good one, on JPS. Also seems very common, for people who want to invent a name, to "re-string" some of the letters together, to make the last name. It is easy to convince someone, that the document or whatever has the "old name", is a typo.

J. Petrus van der Sloot is "re-strung" to be J. Petru Sa(v)nders

Kind of weird, that "loot" is what is left...in the end. He did it for the loot. If one believes in the fate of anagrams.

Is there another way of viewing the timeline without having to sign up for a "google" account?

I've been periodically posting updated timelines in these threads. Unfortunately it takes some work to format it to work for this site, so I don't include the sources here. The link in my sig is to the last one that I posted. It won't include the newest info or sources though.

If anyone wants to help me with it, that would be awesome. It's hard to keep track of everything and fact check everything on my own.

As new info comes along, it can be added to the post, with Mod assistance in order to keep it all in one post. We only have the ability to edit posts I think up to 24 hours, then a Mod has to add it to the post.

Casey, Scott P, Mark Hacking, there are so many twisted peeps it almost makes you look a little sideways at people in your own neighborhood/ city.

I remember when I worked at the jail here in the 80's I knew an inmate who was always in/out for drug offenses. He caused no trouble and was always polite, set off NOTHING on my hinky radar as far as him being anything but a petty drug user and dealer.

He got out and was caught after abducting, raping and killing a little boy who I believe was about 7 yrs old. It was a horrible crime, and I remember thinking there was NOTHING about him that I would have suspected that he was capable of such a crime. He was sentenced to a long prison term and died in prison a few years later. So, even when you are around criminal elements, sometimes their ability to commit such a heinous crime isn't "obvious". I was shocked when I read in the newspaper he was the one who did it, as I "knew" him!

just fyi

Yup. Unfortunately pyschopaths don't wear a sign. Rather, they are often very likable, charming people that draw others in. {{{shiver}}}

HE is saying that HE killed her because she nosed into his private buiness, i.e., his laptop and found out who he was re Natalie Holloway.... give me a break - unless he had that information as his screen saver, a ticker or his home page. I don't believe a word that comes out of his friggin' mouth.

Yes, you think he would be described as " race car driver, political figure, circus promoter and owner of the very casino his daughter was seen gambling in when she met JVDS" or words to that effect, if he really was owner of the casino. JMO

So if the guys who drove him for several hours were "unwitting", why are they being charged?

abbie

Maybe authorities think they kept quiet/didn't come forward with info after they knew who they had helped across. Dunno. I would like to know exactly how JVDS got across the border into Chile - did he have to show a passport or did he get a driver to smuggle him inside somehow? Maybe I'm making it more complicated than it is.

As for the locking his door with a key in the coffee video...at first I thought he left his key inside and had genuinely locked himself out purposely in preparation for the big act. However, after others mentioned the possible key in his hand I can sort of see it, although I'm not sure if it's really there or not. It could be a key or could be shininess from his watch and the wrapping (if any) on the pastry. ??? Is there no way to lock the door from the inside without a key?

Why does he even try to float that stupid story, as if finding out his personal info was reason to hit her or kill her. Its like he thinks his story justifies what he did to her. jmo

I've poured over tons of articles and tons of pictures putting together my timeline, and I've found video newscasts to be unbelievably bad at reporting false information. Articles are much more reliable. The National Enquirer pics are real, and they show a huge blood stain on the bed.

Having seen the pics, I would definitely characterize the sheets as being "bloody."

  • #379
The sheets weren't actually "bloody" per se. There was a large dark spot that looked like a place where there was a struggle and something [bodies?] moved to deposit a thin layer of what appears to be blood.

Having said that, I don't know if the photos are authentic. But , IMO, they appear to be so.

I don't have a scenner so I'd post the relevant part of the photo.

..

Even if you have a scanner, we can't post the photo, only link to the photo.
