He doesn't need to come to the states....he would think he was in the Hilton after being in Peru...keep him there....you can get all you need and more outta him over there please. IMO:twocents:

Love how NG calls Joran "the killing machine".

 • #583
We learned an attorney name earlier today. Don't know if that is the one.
What was interesting on Nancy Grace is that Jean Casarez said that the attorney is a private attorney who will be paid for by the state. Kind of like what is sometimes done here.

What I'm not understanding, especially with the public outrage against Joran as we've seen so far, is would the Peruvian government even consider releasing him to Aruba or anywhere else to serve a murder sentence? :waitasec: The way this is being discussed, it's like there's even a remote chance of it happening. I don't think so. MOO

This is the only program that I have heard her other name being used....Tatiana? I can't even keep her whole name straight let alone anything else, lol.

I have to go vent after the "death penalty" question to the brother ....

 • #587
Trial to start in 4-6 months.

 • #588
Hmmm...... imagine that. Sounds faintly similiar to how he threw the security guards under the bus in Aruba. Anyone else seeing a pattern here?

If those cab drivers accepted a lot more than the normal fare for that distance, they could be a serious doodoo if proven.
Still stuff like this happens probably all the time. They could have killed him and taken all of his possessions if they were truly hard core criminals.

NG: trying to talk to Enrique again but she seems to have a poor connection. She's askng about the death penalty and the family being ok with Joran not getting it. He says they don't have one (as would apply to Joran).

Reporter in Peru talking to NG about the judge being selected, trial actually starting in 4-6 months.

Caller talking about possible DNA under Stephany's nails, yet no apparent scratches on Joran's upper body. Jean C. referring to the confession and Joran saying he went straight for her throat.

NG moving on to another case.

It's her middle name, IIRC.

US can try JVDS for MH's murder, we get the next shot at JVDS. We can try him on the extortion charges.

I came and got on the computer as soon as I heard this on NancyG's show, so thank you for posting it when you did.

Did that Griffith guy just say Joran could be tried in the US for the murder?! That's what it sounded like to me and then someone on the show kind of turned it to extortion charges. Or maybe I did misunderstand.

Joran's mom needs funds to go to Peru & hire a "proper" atty for him.

Wonder if that is different than an "improper" attorney.....snort.IMO:woohoo:

Thanks for your notes on the Nancy Grace Show, panthera.

Her name: Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramírez

NG asked Enrique F. if the family would consider to a plea deal to allow JVDS to "truthfully" solve the Natalee H. case. Family does not care where JVDS is locked up Peru, U.S. or Aruba, as long as he locked up and off the streets.

With the idea in mind that there's a kernel of truth in Joran's lies - I'm thinking that SF had already given Joran money to gamble with and he lost it. In return he was supposed to 'sell' her his computer. When she got to his room to collect her part of the deal, he refused. She may have understandably gotten mad and raised her voice at him. That's when he lashed out at her. He's a liar, a thief and a killer.

If the deal had gone as planned, she would have returned home with the laptop her dad had given her the money to buy (if this is factual info).
This would explain the mystery of why SF went to his room in the first place even though he could have easily carried the laptop to the casino with him. He never intended to live up to his end of the bargain. Desperate for money to feed his addiction he would beg, borrow and steal.

We get a shot at him for the extortion case with the FBI, if we wanted. Truthfully, I don't think he will go anywhere! IMO

On NG someone mentioned how Joran is eating 3 well meals in high security. And the statement was made that if you aren't from there you will get very ill eating the food.
My friend went on vacation there, she left her guide person & ate on here own. Within a year, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, quickly passed away. Her words to me were, "When you travel watch what you eat". I have never forgotten that connection with Peru. Realize it can happen in anyway or anywhere, just sharing :)

I don't think you get pancreatic cancer from eating foreign food.

Luis Valdez, and Trujillo Ospina.
Este último, quien brevemente visitó al holandés a su llegada a prisión, al parecer ha tenido empatía con el extranjero desde el primer momento.
The latter, who briefly visited the Netherlands on arrival in prison apparently has had empathy with the stranger from the start. "Trujillo y Van der Sloot conversan y en algunos momentos juegan casino, la especialidad del holandés. Incluso se bromean. Trujillo le dice soy un sicario y tú un psicótico", dijo la misma fuente. [BTrujillo and Van der Sloot talking and at times play casino, the specialty of the Netherlands. Even joking. Trujillo told you I'm a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and a psychotic, "said the source.[/B

Well dah..... whats the ole saying keep your friends close and your enemy closer. When his new BFF gets the word it will be "boom boom out go the lites" :croc:

BBM

Hi GetSmart! Sometimes the translations get the words a little mixed up. The correct translation for this should be: Trujillo and Van der Sloot converse and at times play poker, the specialty of Dutchmen. They even joke. Trujillo tells him "I'm a hitman and you're a psychotic!"
