So then he wasn't in Columbia when the women went missing. See how nuts this reporting is?I keep reading that he went to Columbia on the 13th and onto Peru the 14th.
Perhaps he was flying back & forth but I can't figure it out yet either.

So the karate chop would have been where...front/back?

Was trying to understand Joran's "confession" - of course, he says Stephany hit him first, and invaded his personal computer -
After reading the article from the link in post #59 - it now becomes clear -
"
Pero si es acusado de homicidio por reacción violenta, la pena podría ser menor a cinco años . But if you are charged with manslaughter for backlash, the sentence could be below five years."
Joran's "confession" fits the manslaughter for backlash sentence in Peru - which "could be below five years."
Personally, I believe Joran is incapable of telling the truth.
He murdered this sweet Stephany and we will never know the truth about it.
Peru has handled this case well, so far. Keep it up, Peru.
Shame on Aruba and his real life, living "Godfather" who made sure, along with his father, that Joran was never prosecuted in Aruba. IDK his name, but we should find it - and he should have to answer as to why Joran was never charge in NH's disappearance.
Evidently, he was the "powers that be" at that time.
If "Godfather" and Aruba had done their part 5 years ago - we would not be here today and Stephany would still be with us.
"he had MARIJUANA in his system when he attacked her"
Marijuana does not turn a person into a crazed karate chop murdering lunatic.
I don't know, the article only said he told them when she tried to leave he gave her a karate chop to the neck and that he held his hands out to show the position of his hand when he did it. My guess is that it would have been to the back--it's hard to do it to the front of the neck (if it's even true).
...but would he have known that? We haven't seen anything that pinpoints how the neck broke...for instance...was it as a result of the head being hit in such a way and with such force it caused the neck to snap? Or was the chop to the side of the neck and it broke along those lines?Per Mark Fuhrman (no link because I heard it), the ME said the trauma to the back of the head could not result from a fall or accident--it was caused by a "driving force" to the back of the head.
I'm thinking the later...it's not true.I don't know, the article only said he told them when she tried to leave he gave her a karate chop to the neck and that he held his hands out to show the position of his hand when he did it. Holding someone against their willBeing that he admits that the final blow was as she was trying to leave/escape...Wouldn't that be kidnapping..??:waitasec:
I agree!!!!I think the Peruvian Police should host a big dinner, all you can eat, all you can drink dinner at say The Atlantic City Casino tonight for all the journalists and photographers covering the case. And, while they are doing that, the police should take Joran to Hotel TAC and recreate the crime.
Marijuana doesn't make you falsely confess to crimes as was alleged in the Netherlands. Nor does it make you kill someone. I understand from JBean that it does cause psycotic breaks in some individuals, however, we saw months and months of videotapes of Joran smoking pot, and not one psychotic break was reported.
snipped
Not saying this is the case AT ALL. Just making an observation.

snipped for the part that may have been missed![]()
