I see a good reason not to believe him...he falsely advertised all day that he had it, when he obviously didn't. It was clearly a lie to say he had it, at best he was hoping to get it. Maybe he never stood a chance and just wanted to get big ratings.

I certainly saw him wearing gloves for part of the video.

I agree. I wanted to wait to see the tape before making up my mind, but now, I have no doubt that he was acting on directions from someone...probably JB. That was no random search.

I disagree JB is filming it why would he be on the phone? That points to SOMEONE directing himwhere to look. My opinion is LA!!!!! MOO

seeing this video somehow made it all come together for me.
Here's my theory
1. Meter reader saw something that made him suspicious in August (or perhaps he was the one that noticed her car at that spot in June and decided to go take a look).
2. he went there in August and either found the body in bag OR just saw things that did look suspicious. he called LE for 3 days and they either didn't come or didn't go all the way in cause they're afraid of snakes.
3. Meter reader feels something is there but doesn't want to get too involved as we could hear on 911 calls he was very hesititant to get very involved and call crimeline. Now we understand as he used to be a bondsman and bounty hunter and he knows how things work AND he's all too aware of his prior charge of kidnapping looking REALLY bad if he happens to find a body of a supposedly kidnapped kid. He's in between a rock and a hard place now, decides to wait and see if anything comes out on it's own.
4. By Nov. it's obvious nothings happening and the water has receded so he goes back. It's at this point that I think he found the body and a plan has been brewing for awhile. He's well aware of the PI D. Casey from tv exposure etc and has decided to call him with the info, which he hopes will keep him out of the picture and yet accomplish the purpose. He's the one on the phone to the PI trying to direct to the exact spot and giving him the info.

OK, That's my theory, so I'm anxious to hear arguments to disprove. I really hope I'm wrong and that casey is the one who told someone so we have another nail in her coffin.

He is wearing gloves on the 16th, while using the rod thingy. What if Caylee had been in one of those bags? He clearly had no intent of perserving the evidence. Nothing says this evidence won't help my client like destroying it.

The boy is clearly not bright. Five months after the time of death he is clearly thinking he is going to find a BODY. That stick wouldn't tell him if he was hitting bones anymore than it tells him how many sticks he is shoving out of the way.

Absolutely no regards what so ever in preserving any evidence, obvious in the way he was gnashing at the black garbage bags with the knife or razor knife without gloves. The point of that stick was what? yes, A brick shy of a full load, I agree.

Are we sure this is some kind of probe? Reason I ask is because of my dad's medal detector, it looks just like this that he is using, it is a pole type thing with a plastic part at the top that the batteries go in, and it makes a pinging noise if medal is detected. Can someone grab a good shot of that "probe"
Also, him digging in what appears to be a set of steps is disturbing to me! I hope they bring the dogs into that spot!

Okay, I watched it again to be more clear:

First "scene"--November 15 9:15 a.m. is from the crime scene (MOO). You can see the potato vines and the road. DC emerges from general area of crime scene and is seen talking on his cellphone.

Second "scene"--November 15, 9:38 a.m. (so within 23 minutes at the MOST from the first scene) DC is on the side of a house or concrete block building. You can see an orange and white emergency divider thing. DC is digging on the side of the house/building with a small garden trowel.

Third "scene"--back at crime scene (MOO). November 16 at 7:50 a.m. You can see a paver and junk (possibly a blanket but the video quality is poor). DC is now more suitably dressed and has his probe. He slides it into the ground and it slides right in. He moves to an area nearby at the (9:44:28 mark on the upper numbers) and you can clearly see what are pavers or concrete blocks in a configuration (in the wooded area in background). You can also see these in the crime scene photos (MOO).

Scene 4--November 16 at 8:16 a.m. So if these time stamps are correct he's bouncing back and forth between these locations. Full on excavation, DC-style. You can see what looks like a black plastic bag with yellow ties. This is again at the concrete block house or building.

Searchers actually use those kind of probes to check for graves. I'm not saying that's what he was doing but I've seen searchers use those exact same metal poles or what looked to my eyes as the same kind of pole.

I also hope that LE checks that area around that house completely.....it sure looks like to me he was on a mission trying to locate something when he was digging.

Yes, I think it's been determined that JH is the legal owner of the tape. I don't have a clue why anyone would think DC owned the tape or that he would sell a tape that seems to incriminate himself and prove he's a liar. That makes no sense to me. Why is it so difficult to believe that JH did the selling?

I don't think anybody is disputing that JH may have sold it to WFTV, but you said "Geraldo passed on it"....I don't think there's any proof of that, unless you think GR is 100% honest and credible, and I sure don't give him that sort of credit, particularly after a day of false advertising!
