Hoping that the families of these four precious young lives get all of the answers they want.
Even if closed door and not to the public.

Maddie, Kaylee, Ethan & Xana have taken us on an emotional ride, rooting for them posthumously. Everyone in Moscow, and in Idaho, even though many do not talk about it, think of them often, with love. They were UI students but they resemble college kids all across the country. Each of them unique, striving for something, leaning into their futures. When something like this happens, many of us, we need to come away learning something, ANYTHING. Maybe it is lock your doors or close your blinds, choose your friends wisely or understand some may feel left out, or just realize that this could happen ANYWHERE and be careful.

I hope they get what they need tomorrow, even if I fear we will not. Answers. I know I am not owed them, but they are, the families sure are, and we all need to process what went on in the 1122 King Road house on November 13th. I can only imagine they had no understanding. WHY?

Details may sting, but missing information will leave a hole permanently. I hope it all makes a little more sense tomorrow. I doubt it, but I do hope. JMOO

I would love it if one of the impact statements went like this:

Erupt in dramatic laughter to start with…for an uncomfortable 60 seconds. Then ‘you are so stupid, you planned all of this and you failed! Who leaves behind evidence that is a genius?! Now everyone knows the truth about you-you are dumb, boring, unattractive and it’s no wonder that you had no intimate relationships or close friends. You are a loser who landed yourself in prison for life. You lose at everything!’ Erupt in laughter again…and walk away smiling.

THIS^^^^.

A million times over.

17 July 2025 - Motion to extend the no contact order, for another 99 years.

Via Angenette Levy, at 16 minutes into the link. The current no contact order is due to expire in Jan 2027 . Maybe Bill Thompson is moving early to tie-into the scheduled press conference today?

Today is the Day, #Justice4MaddieKayleeXana&Ethan.

It might not be what all of the parent wanted and I'm sincerely sorry for that, but I believe locking this murderer up forever with no chance of appeals or sentence reductions EVER is the best step in even beginning to moving forward with their lives.

Maddie, Kaylee, Xana and Ethan all mattered and were deeply loved by family and friends. They will be terribly missed. This murderer will be sentenced and shipped off to prison where he can never hurt another person, and will fade from the media blitz and attention. This will hurt his ego more than anything. He wasn't so smart after all.

I feel sorry for his parents, they will continue to suffer until their last days, victims of this murderer as well.

"Goncalves’ family said they want:

'a full confession,
full accountability,
location of the murder weapon,
confirmation the defendant acted alone,
& the true facts of what happened that night'."
Yes, the families absolutely deserve the answers if they choose to know the facts. I am sadly convinced that this murderer will not give them the relief they are looking for. Another part of his ultimate control and torture.

I hope I am wrong.

You can't get blood from stone.

That's the phrase that keeps popping into my head when I read about what people are expecting him to say.

What? Seriously? After the victim impact statements, Kohberger will have the opportunity to address the court, but he's not required to do so.

He won't. He won't share one word.

The Convicted person usually does have the opportunity to address the Court before sentencing, but I was hoping it would have been negotiated in his Plea Deal that he couldn't. I don't think he will speak either.

Let's hope the great Judge 'Hammer' Hippler will give him a good dressing down and lower the boom. I know it won't change a thing, but it would make me feel better.
