If he was exiting the King Rd house holding a stun gun/ taser type of device in his hand, and the knife sheath was still on the bed - wonder how he got the very bloody knife out of the house - would he risk having both hands occupied while still inside?
I think he wrapped the blade in a hand towel, and carried it with the hilt exposed and forward. Probably looked just like a weird car vac.

Watching the Peacock documentary, and they briefly showed a post BK made in a "visual snow" group. I found graphics of them, and find them pretty telling. Looks like from 2011 when he was 17? They've probably been posted here before, but might be interesting to revisit. There are 4. There's more details in the documentary at around the 36 min. mark (Angenette Levy narrates some of his posts). Also, possible relevance, when he started to lose weight he started boxing, so may be an aspect of the blunt force trauma on Kaylee.
Do you have a link this this peacock docu?

It is interesting though...especially the last bit about his mother's op-ed.

Bryan Kohberger allegedly searched online for Ted Bundy as well as 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 depicting nonconsensual sex in the weeks before and after four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death at an off-campus home, according to a report from NBC News, which cites police documents.
The network reports that Kohberger allegedly searched for 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 with the keywords "forced," "passed out," "drugged," and "sleeping."
(...)
The Bundy search could have been related to Kohberger's role as a teacher's assistant in an introductory-level criminology class, a job he held both before and after the murders.
It could also have been a way for him to find the op-ed his mother wrote about the serial killer in 1999, which later went viral after her son's arrest."

Interesting, it sounds like he got off on hard core- Corn.
Or he was working up to doing something like that in the future.

But, watching Corn does not prepare a young man for an actual physical encounter with a human body up close and personal. Did he ever have any experience in that way at all?

I’d like to find that OpEd written by his mother!

IMO

He is an academic and a good student. And he has OCD. I agree it's truly astonishing he left no trace, but considering the make up of who he was it checks. (Although O.J. left hardly any evidence too, and he's far from a mastermind).

Could anyone tell me why it's believed he was an incel? I know some women found him creepy and awkward, but has he indicted it himself with writing or conversations with friends? I thought the connection to Elliot Rodgers was conjecture by others.

Frankly, I'm leaning more and more toward his murders being another form of research and experimentation (as school and drugs were). Because he's able to disassociate, he likely was in and out of thinking about the impacts of his actions on others.
Yes, now he has an answer to some of the questions he posed to prisoners in that Reddit survey.

Like an experiment. Where he picked his test subject(s). Methodical. Like actual study was beneath him. Mock crime scenes? Not good enough.

IMO this is why his Master's research was lagging. He had something bigger in mind.

Murder.

Interview with Kohberger in PA-#157
1. WatchGuard Event: NA

Case number added to WG: NA
2. Evidence
NA-video/audio and transcript of interview added to case file 3. Narrative
On December 29, 2022, ISP Detective Sergeant Gilbertson, FBI Special Agent Shirley and I arrived in Albrightsville, PA in preparation for the service of the arrest and search warrants for Kohberger and his family's residence at
, Albrightsville, PA. After several coordination meetings, Det. Gilbertson, SA Shirley and I drove to the Pennsylvania State Police Barracks at Stroudsburg, PA to await the arrival of Kohberger after his arrest and to interview him upon his arrival.
At approximately 0200 hours on December 30, 2022, Kohberger was brought to the PSP Stroudsburg Barracks and placed in an interview room. The interview was recorded on the built-in video system at the barracks as well as Det. Gilbertson's pocket recorder. Det. Gilbertson and I were the interviewers present. This is a summary of our interview with Kohberger and is not a verbatim transcript of the interview. A full interview transcription will be attached to this case file.
Det. Gilbertson and I began by introducing ourselves and stating which agencies we represented. When I stated who I was, Kohberger stated "you do look familiar". Det. Gilbertson and I prepared our note taking materials and Det. Gilberston read Kohberger his Miranda Rights Advisement. Det. Gilberston asked Kohberger if he understood his rights to which he replied he did. After collecting Kohberger's personal information and inquiring about any medications, Det. Gilbertson and I began to speak to Kohberger. Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger about the SWAT operation at the house to which Kohberger replied he was concerned about his parents and his dog.

Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger if he was going to Washington State University to which he replied he was. We made small talk with Kohberger about sports for some time. Kohberger stated he didn't follow WSU football much but was a baseball fan. Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger if he had only been at WSU for one semester. Kohberger confirmed this and said he came to WSU with his father on July 1st. Kohberger then went on to say he was a first-year PHD student in criminal justice and criminology. Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger what the process was to apply for a PhD. Kohberger stated he applied to two places: UC Irvine and WSU. Kohberger said he was going to graduate with his Masters in Criminal Justice from De Sales and was inspired. Kohberger then asked if it was OK to engage in small talk like we were to which we replied it was. After briefly mentioning he was strengthened by the fact his mother and father were OK, Kohberger said he applied to the two aforementioned schools because they did not require the GRE exam. Kohberger then spoke about the GRE for a brief time and then said he was accepted by WSU.
Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger what lead him down the road of becoming a professor. Kohberger stated it was because he loved being in college and stated knowledge was far more important to him than money. Kohberger added WSU had a good program to study under, and then said "you guys know all about this more than likely". Kohberger then asked questions about University of Idaho and other Idaho Universities before stating he didn't know much about Idaho or Washington and had not left the "tri state area much". Kohberger then returned to speaking about his focus on learning and how he thought he could obtain his doctorate degree. Kohberger then said he recently returned home to see his family.
Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger about his time at De Sales University. Kohberger spoke for some time about his time at Northampton Community College and De Sales. Kohberger then spoke about how he became interested in criminal justice and stated he thought about being a police officer but did not want to make that commitment unless he was absolutely sure. Kohberger then continued to speak about his education and universities. Kohberger also spoke more about the process to get into a PhD program and how competitive it can be.
Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger about his move to Washington. Kohberger said he drove across country and wanted the challenge of driving cross country and experiencing it with his father. Kohberger then said he took a different route back home with his father for Christmas Break to avoid snow. Kohberger spoke about his travels and the risks of such travels in winter. Kohberger then began to speak about the beauty of the environment and its relationship to God and a higher power. We spoke about this for some time and Kohberger said he was raised Christian but was always a skeptic except when confronted with the beauty of the natural world. Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger if he had ever been to the Pacific Northwest prior to coming to WSU, and Kohberger said he had not.
I asked Kohberger if he and his father made any stops along their way back to Pennsylvania. He told me they visited Colorado but the main goal was to just drive. Kohberger then told a story about seeing an unmarked police car near Kansas City speed up behind him, catch up to another vehicle, turn on its emergency lights, then drive away. Kohberger thought this was strange and was unsure why it occurred.
Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger about the job he mentioned. Kohberger stated he was a teaching assistant. Kohberger then talked about how busy he was and how the funding package that comes along with being a teaching assistance is

what makes the extra work worth it. Kohberger then discussed ongoing projects with WSU PD and Pullman PD. Kohberger spoke more about how being a TA is essentially assisting the professors and the department. Kohberger stated he did not get to assist with teaching with the exception of assisting with office hours. Det. Gilberston asked Kohberger if he would be a TA again next semester and Kohberger replied he would.
Kohberger then stated he understood why were engaging in small talk but would appreciate it if we explained to him what he was doing there. Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger why he thought we were there. He said he wanted Det. Gilbertson to tell him. Det. Gilbertson said we were there because of what occurred in Moscow but did not provided any further detail. Det. Gilbertson asked Kohberger if he watched the news. Kohberger said "I watch the news". Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger why he thought I looked familiar. Kohberger said he wasn't sure and stated I had a familiar face and looked like someone he used to know. Det. Gilbertson then said we were there because of what happened in November jut off the University of Idaho Campus. Det. Gilberston asked Kohberger if he knew what that was to which Kohberger replied "of course". When prompted to elaborate, Kohberger said it was the incident we had been investigating for "how long has it been?" Kohberger said there were probably several incidents, and then said he was aware of a homicide because of a WSU alert he received. Det. Gilbertson asked when Kohberger received the alert. Kohberger said he wasn't sure but thought it was sometime the previous month. Det. Gilberston confirmed that was why were there and asked if Kohberger wanted to talk about that. Kohberger replied "well, I think I would need a lawyer". Kohberger then asked if we would explain to him what we were there for specifically and added he was tired. Det. Gilberston again stated we were investigating the homicides of the four students and that we had questions and things we hoped Kohberger would help us understand.
Kohberger sat back and said he had the utmost respect for law enforcement but stated it was a constitutional right to speak to an attorney. Det. Gilbertson affirmed this. Kohberger then reengaged and said the only thing he heard of from Moscow was an alert that came to his phone. Kohberger then said he wanted to talk to an attorney. Det. Gilbertson said we would stop now because Kohberger wanted to speak to an attorney. Kohberger then asked where his parents were and were his dog was. Kohberger reengaged again and asked what questions we would have for him. Det. Gilbertson then asked Kohberger again if he understood his rights and asked specifically what Kohberger wished. Kohberger asked what specifically we wanted to talk to him about and the reason. I told Kohberger he invoked his Fifth Amendment Rights and we were not going to ask him any further questions. Kohberger asked again for the reason he was there but added he would like to talk to an attorney. At this point, we concluded our interview with Kohberger and left the room.

Tbf, I'm probably giving him way too much credit 🤔

Daily News Feb 1989- Cheering the hearse

BK’s mother Mary Ann Kohberger wrote an OpEd about the execution of Ted Bundy by the State of Florida on Jan 24, 1989.

1989? This was six years before BK was born.

What was his plan? Stay in PA, deliver a diatribe to his parents how inferior the university, the program, the professors and students were? Harass police departments with his flimsy resume? Try to worm his way into LE? Scary to think how easily a uniform buys entrance. "It's OK, I'm here to help you."

Terrifying actually to imagine him on the inside track, granting himself access to potential victims, guards down.

I think both are true- ‘research’ into the perfect crime and outlet for incel injustices.

BK was trying to carry out the perfect murder, and thought he was smart enough to do it.
He had to choose a person to murder, and he chose young attractive women he did not know

He has no sexual assault history, like Bundy
He has no female relationship history- as far as I’ve seen
He is not a victim of parental abuse or neglect, not abandoned
He seems to have been somewhat rejected by women, did not like his female students
He had trouble with his female boss- he lost his TA position

He chose stabbing as a way to kill- that is in a person’s personal space and bodily fluids.
Some would say a knife is a substitute for a penis (can we say that here?)

How does a germaphobe, without experience in the personal space of women get past all the contact with a body, and all the blood?
Not just one victim, but another, then another, then another

His drive is an intense anger/fear of inadequacy, to hate, if you live then I lose- that to me is consistent with an Incel

Does he have to have contact with a community, have written a manifesto, have evidence of following a leader, No. Maybe years ago he was a follower- not now. Twice degreed, 28 not 18.

IMO
He lost his TA position after an "altercation" with his professor, who was the grad advisor for the program. He is a man and a well known criminal attorney. A criminal defense attorney.

That's the person who went to higher ups in the university and IIRC, is the one who delivered the news about the discontinuance of the TA position to the soon-to-be-expelled student.

So he had trouble with at least one man. We also do not know the gender of every student who might have complained about him (supposedly he went from grading harshly to giving everyone in the class an "A" on every assignment after some students complained).

The woman who supervised his master's thesis wrote glowing things about him, though and Katherine Ramsland also thought he was a fine student and very intelligent.

The person mentioned as "L" in the documents says that he approached his women students "inappropriately" (as in wanted relationships with them, is how I took it). He certainly had problems getting close to women in appropriate ways. "L" was apparently a friend or acquaintance of his.

Totally agree that he was socially isolated and obviously very angry. We use the word "human" in several different senses, a topic of much discussion in philosophy and anthropology. When I say "Person" I mean an entity that is capable of consciousness, rationality and moral reasoning. The word "human" is more complicated, but when I say he is not "human" I mean that he does not exhibit the best features of our species (I'm using it in a way similar to the root of the word "humanity.")

Biologically, he is of course human and deserves the same treatment as other humans get when they have acted as he has. In this case, Idaho has decided to sentence him to life in prison, which I think is just. I also agree with those who are saying he might be relieved to be permanently locked up.

He did not offer much resistance. Nor explanation. Completed the small talk portion of the interview and shut it down. Except he couldn't help himself. IMO he wanted to know what LE knew. No fear. IMO he can't not feel superior. Clever. Intellectual. Cut above his colleagues. Self important.

He didn't want to answer questions, he wanted to ask them.

Xana wasn’t in his way. Xana could call the police who could get in his way.

By all indications (IMO) he chased her back to the safety of her room (and Ethan and her Phone) and killed her.

MOO
Xana caught him killing Maddie and Kaylee and was positioned along his path of escape. You can argue Kaylee was no threat to him either but he still killed her. Again, because he perceived them as a threat of getting caught. Dylan didn't react which allowed him to compose himself and leave. I'm sure if she screamed and tried to run away, he'd have been startled and did the same thing he did to Kaylee and Xana. The fact that she stood still in shock is what saved her life. We as humans are not much different than animals psychologically speaking. You see this all the time in the wilds between animals. Hell, even with humans who found themselves in situation like this with wild animals, whether it'd be bears, tigers or whatever, it's always advertised to stay calm and collected and not freak out as not to elicit response from predators. Kohberger at that point was no different. He was running on pure adrenaline and desposing of any threat he perceived to his own safety. It was an instictual attack, not something he was thinknig about. I think if Xana reacted more like Dylan, it's highly unlikely he would have chased her and he would have just left.
Whoops my bad, I linked the wrong thing. It was in this. It could mean Xana too.

"Some of the victims, who were stabbed multiple times, were covered in so much blood, officers responding to the home at first were not able to sort out what their additional injuries there might be. Their faces were so badly damaged as to be unrecognizable, according to the police report."
That's not in the documents

Do police reports mention bloody shoe prints between the bedrooms? How did he manage not to leave prints. He was in a hurry, but really did not have much time. I am still wondering if it was intended to be a sexual crime. And only one of the girls was the intended target.

I attribute his success at La Salle and glowing recommendation from his advisor to having clear direction and ability to carry out academic work, it's methodical and dry. His poor "people skills" didn't really come into play much, or if it did fellow students probably viewed him as the awkward nerd. They did view him as highly intelligent.

At WSU translating his academic expertise into effective teaching, tutoring or student advising was clearly a hurdle too high. Also, as far as faculty and department interactions go there is very little tolerance for inappropriate behavior. They have to worry about reputation, legal issues, etc. If he was belligerent with faculty members and not following direction, he wouldn't get many chances to get in line. Which is what happened, booted out of the TA position, which essentially meant an end to his Ph.D. aspirations at WSU.

I can't figure out how there is no blood residue, apparently inside or outside. Some have said he was maybe wearing gloves and booties to cover his shoes. I have no evidence, but also believe it was intended to be a sexual crime. BK had done searches about drugging and forced sex (it's in this thread somewhere). Think it was Maddie.

OMG. He took the food? Unbelievable.
I posted this as I read your post, but see that several posters have already stated that People got that wrong among other things. We can be sure he did not take the bag of food, as one of the earliest photos we saw from 1122 King Road WAS the delivery from DD. Photo courtesy New York Post...
