I think there's video of the Elantra at 4:08 iirc. Parking, readying... he could have entered at 4:10 ... exits at 4:17/18. Could have happened in under 7 minutes.

Crazy sad to realize how his timing intersected with the DDD and with XK too.

I don't think we know if the DDD saw XK retrieve her food but -- we don't know whether she ate any of it... but it seems likely that the felon is the reason she stopped watching TikTok at 4:12, if that detail is correct.

IMO the felon heard DM call out, he hurried downstairs, forgetting the sheath, and saw XK coming from her room. Maybe he even heard her tell EC that there was someone there, having encountered the open door. Somehow the felon entered XK's room, where he encountered EC.

If XK walked around the house to get her DD, could she have sat outside to eat? When she came back the slider was open, she set her food down and then went to tell EC someone was there and that's when the felon saw her? As he descended the stairs?

The State is really good IMO at staying away from speculation. Better to leave open questions then to give the Defense an opportunity to debunk the hypothetical.

FWIW I think the felon has full confidence in his ability to be silent.

At 4:06/7, it looks like he attempted to park on the street, in front of the 1112 camera. Couldn't parallel park. Drive ahead. Executed a 3 pt turn before passing 1112 again. And parking somewhere past 1112 which puts the Elantra even closer to 1122.

I think so too. In Howard Blum's book he storyified it as being hesitation - as him summoning up the courage to go ahead and commit the crime - but to me it look like initial plan was to street park.


Also noticed that as Dylan said in one of her witness statements, the dog was barking inside during the attacks and then outside- very loudly - as he left. So Murphy came out after he left and barked in the grounds at the back. So loud, this is why he left in a hurry

I think it is likely that Murphy went out through Kaylee's bedroom slider and on to the third floor balcony to bark. He could have seen the murderer make his escape up behind the house to his vehicle from there.

But none of the attending officers found her slider open when they first toured the house on the next morning. ( All their descriptions have been released)

He wasn't even looking for a house, any house. That house was his destination from the moment he entered the neighborhood for the first time (and indeed from August forward IMO).

Devastating to think four young people had only minutes left to live.

The time lapse was chilling. Just knowing what evil he perpetrated.

It is a far bridge from "I don't feel anything" to "since i don't feel anything I'm going to kill people to see how it feels" but it looks like the felon traversed that bridge at mach speed. Four beautiful, feeling lives sacrificed in order for him to exact his wicked experiment -- unfettered power, control, dominance and curiosity. So entirely senseless.

He's a liar too. He DOES feel. He's just an awful human being whose feelings are counter-decency. Counter-humanity. IMO you could see it in his micro-expressions during the victim impact statements. Here he is, a stone cold murderer, and he has the GALL to be irritated, annoyed, smug, superior, angry, offended. From duper's delight to a fixed jaw to feral salivating. No shame. No remorse. Not moved. Proud. Spoke 'guilty' to four murders like he was in a spelling bee.

I don't think he feels bad about the sheath either -- his own incompetence which caught him. Undoubtedly he blames the victims for that. Amazing how people like the felon forgive themselves easily -- not their fault EVER.

Tragically he doesn't value what the rest of us do -- freedom, family, friends, careers, purpose, intimacy -- has no issue stealing it from other peopke without so much as a shrug, and no deterrent. I don't think he much enjoyed life -- education, exercise, TAing, etc. IMO he tolerated all that while getting off on manipulating people. He had the uncanny ability to see everyone as beneath him. Exceot those who were above him whom IMO he deemed himself a peer. Chummy with professors, traffic police, arresting officers. Total inflated ego.

Life in segregation probably suits him. He's his favorite person.

What matters is that he's behind bar, for the protection of the public.

It's terrifying to watching his Elantra looping. Unnerving to know this wasn't even his first time. 20+ times. During the dark of night when he has no business being there.

It is why we are instinctively afraid of the dark.

Gray Hughes thinks it 's an attempt at a 3 point turn in middle of the road rather than an attempt to street park.

He's done a full analysis with some extra camera footage. 30 minute vid and somehow less upsetting than watching that Idaho Statesman one.

I get the feeling that various angles were explored (and maybe they even know who Pappa Rodger actually was), but I wish the WHY of how they know it was NOT BK would be released so I could believe-believe it. And regarding the Kabar and sheath on 11/16/2022 only a few days after the murder there was a news article citing that LE was looking for a Kabar knife. People were speculating here and elsewehere that sheath was found. Few weeks before Pappa Rodgers did.

Even the Peacock special failed to fact check the young ladies who claimed that the knife wasn't reported about before Pappa Rodgers. That's false.

These are the things that have kept this thing alive. That and whenever he gets something right it's usually things that other people were also speculating about. It's just that Pappa Rodger had a creepy habit of framing his speculation as questions.

But whenever Pappa Rodger got somehting wrong people would dismiss it as him trying to throw off authorities.

He was wrong on almost anything that could be proven. He was wildly off about the location of the bodies. He was wildly off about the state of the crime scene. He was widely off about the method of entry of the intruder.

The only reason this thing still is kicking is that when he's right he's right and when he's wrong he's right (because he's trying to throw off authorities).

MODS I hope this is OK since my post is to help debunk something in the Peacock special. The claim that was made on the special that no one (hyperbole or not) was talking about the knife or sheath. And that Pappa Rodger was the first when LE hadn't released that information.

I already easily debunked the Kabar thing via the reporting a full 14 days before Pappa Rodger post. Even TMZ reported on the Kabar on 11/17.

Regarding the sheath. Last year I did a DEEP dive into Pappa Rodgers. Spent a lot of time attempting to debunk this very issue often cited as proof. Here's a random link from that file....on 11/20/2022 via Reddit....

That's 10 days before the post Pappa Rodger gets credit for 'knowing something only the killer could know'. Even the FBI agent Jennifer gave him credit (I believe she's since deleted that post). I wish I labeled my links but there are posts from as early as 11/15 referencing speculation about a sheath.

Unforunately I have no mainstream reporting to support the drawing. But with a little effort the original post from 2013 can be easily found on archive.org

To the best of my knowledge, the artist, Yi Xu, made a photorealistic portrait of an unknown old soldier which is the image used on Pappa Rodger's page.

"In this piece I tried to archive photograph effect and to learn some lighting and hair techniques. The reference is some image from the net".

Software used: 3ds Max, Zbrush, Photoshop, V-Ray.

Note that the article was dated December 8, 2013 so the image had to have been made before then. Also note that BK would have been barely 19 at the oldest (if Yi did that image the day of the article (I can safely say they didn't)) it would put BK at 19 yrs, and 17 days.
