GUILTY PLEA DEAL ACCEPTED - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #114

  • #2,001
A WSU sophomore . There are too many redactions to work out which class she was taking but she appears to do extra student advice work too and the document says ' it was common for graduate students to meet with X and discuss their education and future plans.' ( BK had an office downstairs in the same building)

Check out para 10 ! looking up at her office window and hiding in bathroom
( and para 9 ' five times')

This is stalking behavior. The occasion when Bryan continuously stood behind her chair as she worked (i.e. stood where she could feel his presence but couldn't see what he was doing or looking at) and the fact that he stopped it when another advisor came into the room indicated that Bryan knew that what he was doing was over the line.

IMO, this woman is fortunate to be alive. She clearly occupied a big place in Bryan's predatory brain.

It makes me furious that more was not done by authorities at WSU to help this young woman - like assisting her in obtaining a restraining order against a man who was clearly stalking and attempting to physically intimidate her.

It must be public record, because several news outlets said the documents were released by

I alerted a mod to your question. I know that they are incredibly understaffed and overwhelmed today so I don't know how quickly they'll respond to you. Anytime you have a question for a mod, you can hit the report button at the bottom left of your post to ask them. HTH.
Thanks so much!

After seeing more of BK's handwriting in these complaints, I'm convinced the little squiggly line under the C in his signature, that we analyzed for pages and pages, was just a squiggly line. moo

The images I posted were removed because there was no source provided which is totally fine but I obtained them via a FOIA request. What’s the procedure for that here?
Whirrledpeas.
Could you please send me a screenshot of something that shows you have received docs from a FOA request? Since I don't know if you received a letter saying "Here are your FOIA requested documents" or what I just need to see something with the FOA request itself. I hope that makes sense. Please send it to [email protected]
By chance, on the back of the pictures, do they have anything stamped on them showing they came from the government?

I'll also send you a direct message and email in case you don't see this post.

I hope a certain inmate is having a horrible day. He deserves hell on earth.

I wonder how I, some lady sitting in my armchair and living a law-abiding life, know not to tattle-tail, make requests, and complain like a Karen in prison and he doesn't?!

He has zero resiliancy and zero awareness. Even as much as we've learned about him in recent days, it is still shocking that he complained about PRISON within a day.

I bet he complains again.

Right????

  • #2,007
He is trying to make a case by documenting all of this, even though it's commonplace in most prisons across the country.

JMO

He is on a mission!!!

I would advise not to underestimate this guy.

What really counts is what is officially on paper.

And the officials have to answer + sign personally.

For sure this murderer is plotting away day and night IMO. He does things with purpose and an agenda. His wheels have been turning about gaming the system since the day he committed the crimes and then went into overdrive after his arrest.

I'd love to know what kind, if any, access he's had to legal information in general since his arrest? I'd bet he read up on it while he was home from WSU, pretty well knowing he was going to be arrested.

I say, give him lots of paper and a pencil. But no sharpener, because we've seen what he does with sharp things.

Then, a suggestion box that drops deposits into a circular file large enough to hold whatever he can write before the pencil tip goes dull.

I agree, he is certainly on a mission.

A mission requiring that he is made comfortable and cozy in every way.

Alas, too bad. He’s in prison with the worst of the worst. Not in nursery school with nap time and lullabies and snacks.

I am enjoying the schadenfreude.

But cutting on the inmate's food & ignoring his complaints about it
is not OK in MO.

It might draw attention of all kinds of lawyers dealing with human rights.
Who would like a scandal?
Something like starving an inmate?
Was it in his sentence by Judge?
To cut his food? 🤔

Link with complaint about food

He is entitled to vegan food. He is not entitled to choose his menu. Nor are any special accommodations going to be made, when BK is safely in his own cell, and other people say mean things to him. People may threaten him, but when he is safe in his own cell, nothing will be done, except tell other prisoners that they can not verbalize any threats to BK.

Then, the guard goes back to his work, and prisoners continue to say mean things. Nothing can be done.

Oh definitely, Dotta, the Constitution demands no cruel and unusual punishment for a prisoner.

However, and this is just my opinion and how I read his complaints, he is not at all being deprived of food, so he won’t starve unless he goes on a hunger strike. He is just being neglected in regards to some of the menu items.

I don’t know if this is just typical prison guard games or whatever.

Frankly I don’t care if he doesn’t have all his favorite comfort foods. He offered no comfort to his victims, nor to his poor parents.

He will have plenty enough food for sustenance.

A maximum security prison is not a catering hall. He committed the worst of the worst crimes, he is surrounded by other murderers, this is what he deserves.

He could’ve opted in for the firing squad but he opted for this.

He’s a rookie. He’ll become a veteran. LOTS and LOTS of years to adjust to his new environment.

JUST MY OPINION with respect for those who disagree.

"Food items also were missing on several occasions from his meal tray
and not addressed when Kohberger asked,
he asserted in another grievance.

'I wish to, without exception,
receive these replacements',

wrote the man referred to in the prison system as Resident #163214.

'The nutritional standard is not being upheld
unless I receive my full tray'."

https://www.idahostatesman.com/news/local/crime/article311775212.html

I do wonder what his appeals process is for this. AFAIK, the prison has its own internal prisoner review process, which stops at the Chief Admin/Warden. "I want two fruit cups, due to nutritional needs, they only gave me one." Is a few missing fruit cups or lack of extra bread roll enough to make management talk to the prisoners who are in charge of putting stuff on plates? If there are still "mistakes" then what's his appeal process?

How would he even manage to file a lawsuit against the prison/its admins? I mean, sometimes you see the defense attorney from the criminal trial attempt to redress truly egregious prison conditions, but that's actually rare. In this case, he had a public defender, and I really don't think they're going to go against their own public system to get him his fruit cup.

But let's say that a hungry civil attorney, wanting notoriety, decides to file a lawsuit against the prison and names the State of Idaho as a defendant. To get said civil attorney, BK needs permission from...the Chief/Warden (who approves all visitors and phone call participants who are not immediate family). Let's say the Warden says "Nope," you lost your right to make outside business arrangements when you became a convicted felon.

I can't even imagine a system in which prisoners were all allowed to have civil attorneys stop by and then file suits on their behalf. I have no clue if this happens at all, but I know it's not common.

Warden will likely tell kitchen admin (who doesn't themselves perform the tray filling) to give BK his extra (vegan) fruit cup, as he is entitled to stay on his vegan food plan.

(I imagine he's getting things like a can of drained black beans dumped on top of the standard prison "salad"...plus a fruit cup).

He's entitled to a certain number of calories spread across the traditional categories (protein, carbs, fats). I doubt his micronutrient balance and vitamins are going to be studied by some in-prison health crew. If he wanted freedom to eat as he wishes, he ought not to have done something to land in prison?

IMO.

Im not sure if i have to be worried. Im gloating.

I know what you mean. I would be totally disappointed if the inmates were not harassing him.;)

Prison lawsuits over food are to be expected and get wildly out of control and abusive.

I recall one over the lack of crunchy peanut butter, only smooth.

  • #2,016
In addition to being a murderer, he is a guy who consistently “doesn’t get it”. Across the board.

and it was only last week we heard he was boasting to WSU people about only eating one meal a day but now he's aware of the minimum nutritional standards.

Maybe it's just a power and control game?

At this rate, the media will be FOIA-ing the prison every month because they know - like @CamilleBSP posted on this page - this has Sarah Boone style potential. Viewers love to follow it.

ETA - and then if lots of the inmates watch L& C or Court TV like he does, he'll just get more hazing.

Regarding item G. Way to be an ally to a co-worker. I admire that, while at the same time wishing it didn't have to be that way. But, he seems insightful in summing up the situation on the job with BK as a customer.
