Poor DM. She didn't even have shoes on.

My spirit is just crushed for her.

This body cam footage is not graphic, so don't worry about seeing something awful.

The most relevant part is Dylan's interview, which is raw, emotional, and powerful. It's one thing to read the transcripts, but another thing entirely to hear the words come from her own mouth. I think this interview is the most important, as it didn't give her an opportunity to second guess her memories, and the details just come flowing out.

[She clearly confuses Kaylee with Xana here] She describes "Kaylee" going upstairs, then heard a scream and Kaylee running downstairs saying "someone's here." Heard Kaylee crying in the bathroom. Dylan kept calling her name, but never got a response. She opened the door and saw a guy wearing all black and a mask covering his forehead and mouth. She eventually went down to Bethany's room where it sounds like they talked themselves out of what Dylan saw "nothing happens in Moscow."Woke up and it was weird that none of their roommates were up, which is when they called their friends over.

Describing Kohberger further: "He was a little bit taller than me." Didn't say anything to her. Thinks he went out sliding door in kitchen.

And Hunter. His body language...ugh. I just want to hug them.

The murderer is always making demands on others—his parents, his sisters, his former classmates, his erstwhile childhood friends, bookstore employees, bar staff, WSU professors and staff, and, most recently, prison staff—but NEVER GIVES ANYTHING in return, other than abuse and disrespect.

After FINALLY admitting that he brutally murdered Kaylee, Maddie, Ethan and Xana, you’d think he’d shut up and take the punishment he deserves. But no, he just gets louder and more insistent. Apparently, he thinks he’s the only one with rights. The depth of his selfishness astounds me.

IMO
I mean... I don't know what to say about this person.

Ever since the stargazing, I've known he was this type. His own evil just doesn't register with him. If it does, he must actively embrace it, because him coming back now, complaining about fruit cups after he left other humans he'd slaughtered in pools of blood to die, tormented their families and turned their lives into hell... He's extremely lucky he's not getting vegan-approved lethal injection drugs somewhere down the road. And he's actually sitting there, whining about beans and fruit cups? And scary guys in the other cells?? And insults? Sticks and stones doesn't occur to him?

Batsh-- nuts. That's the only reason I think they spared him. But others have been just as nuts, and they got the DP.

I'm right there with you! It's in every prison movie ever made, every book, it's part of our collective cultural awareness that we all know that prison has different rules.

IIRC, his family didn't discuss the crime with him during the jailhouse calls. I get it to a point but only to a point. You have to ask, how can you not. If anything, just why. Why did you do it. Did you do it? This is a psychotic level of the elephant in the room to not ask. So BK has been protected and living in this weird world of his own making for apparently a long time.

Now that he no longer has the protection of his fantasy world this is what we get. BK scribbling weird overly formal notes: "I wish to discuss if I may be transferred....I wish to speak to you soon." Yeano. That's going to happen the first of never.
It’s kind of mind boggling considering he studied psychology as an undergrad at DeSales, no? The Stanford Prison Study is like Psych 101.

Man what a tough watch. What a nightmare for those poor kids and officers. I look back to my college experience and I can't imagine this happening to the girls that I was friends with in other houses. We all left our houses wide open 24-7. This could have been anyone.

After the little princess's complaints about his missing lunchbox items today and SH, I really hope every nanosecond of the rest of his life is more horrible than the next. What a pathetic little clueless toddler. I'm thinking life w/o parole is going to be a waaay bigger problem for him than the death penalty. He's narc'd, he's complained to the CO's and Warden....he ain't making many friends in his new digs. Every meal, every tine out of the cell, every interaction with other human beings in that environment he will be in fear of everything. He is truly alone. Poor baby. Couldn't happen to a more worthy [link removed].

It’s my birthday for 45 more minutes and I don’t want to go to sleep heartbroken, so I will save this horror for tomorrow.

Thanks @MassGuy for finding it.

Of course I'm confused. Why now, release the body cam today? Classes start on Monday the timing just seems really weird with the families of MM and EC suing the City and a restraining order or whatever. Just confused. JMOO

There is a sample menu of food for a month. It is not adapted for vegan, but that can be accommodated.

BK can also have "Commissary Packages" sent to him with additional food items.

Here is a picture of his first meal, looks like tacos and beans. I think BK better like tortillas and beans, because he will probably eat a lot of them. And no doubt, plenty of potatoes.

Idk if that was his first meal as they literally stole that picture from the page you linked above (and lied about it - great journalism!) but anyway ... I would eat that no problem (I'm vegan) except whatever that brown object is in top left - cake?

Currently watching the body cam video, and it’s insane to me that he drove past the house the next morning. I know they woke up late that morning but if he had driven by when the police were already there… hard watch with the video though.

If you watch the officer move around, you can get a feel for Kohberger entering, and Xana’s movements around the ping pong table.

The officer had to swivel a bit when he passed through the sliding door, but it was open more than what I previously believed.

When Xana was running from Kohberger, I think she probably bumped into the corner of the table, knocking over some of those cups.

It could have also been Kohberger, of course (less familiar with the house and all).

I know that it’s the officer’s job to ask Dylan all of the questions, but I screamed inside when he was asking for her roommates’ birthdates. She stood out there in her bare feet and politely answered every question to the best of her ability, in the middle of unspeakable tragedy, while trying to hold it together. To know that she even yelled out to her roommates in the middle of this carnage, and somehow the monster did not kill her. Ugh.

Same, I watched the first few minutes and had to turn it off. It is midnight where I am so I am tired but it just made me feel ill seeing and hearing the scene in real time.

Super grateful for these images because I had been trying before to figure out where exactly the beer pong table was. I've wondered if the positioning of that table didn't somehow result in the "flash/bang" I think one of the surviving roommates said she'd heard that table moving right around the time of the flash & firecracker noise. What's that gold thingy behind the beer pong table?

Getting another couple images online here, those are lights, and lots of electrical cords down there on the ground:

And I think that's a power strip in the viewer's far-left corner there. Ah! And look at this:

That's a weight, I think (?? maybe? still looking at it) like a little dumbbell for arm exercises. Did that fall? I won't say why I'm asking this (graphic), but did he have this upstairs? And then did it later maybe fall, perhaps off the table when he went downstairs and the table started moving?

Having someone look at it with me here, too. Is that a handweight or a lantern?

Bodycam video!

That body cam video is astounding. Hard to absorb it all it one sitting (52 minutes).

It appears that news of the murders had not yet been reported when this was recorded. Nearby residents driving by are barely curious about the police presence. No news reporters in sight.

I've been trying to think back to when I first heard about this crime. I assumed it was some kind of domestic dispute or drug deal. It's still hard to believe 4 people were brutally killed there by one lunatic.

These pictures of the victims, crime scene, interspersed with comments about BK's petulant whining, is so surreal to me.

BK complains he is missing a biscuit and fresh fruit.

Dylan is being questioned about her dead friends and their names, date of birth.

BK gets chocolate cake or brownie with dinner.

The officer's bodycam shows the house, and tells his boss to get to the scene of a quadruple homicide.

It is just too much.
