cuts & bruises dates - witness confusion or something else? IDK

before the murders ( the witness who he'd flirted with and asked about what kind of dog she had)
October
View attachment 610467

Another WSU witness who calls MPD tipline soon after he was arrested to report ' bloody knuckles prior to the homicides
View attachment 610471

after the murders but after Thanksgiving holidays. ( the week after? December?)
another witness who regularly takes a class with him

cat-scratch witness Nov 29-30

View attachment 610469

A different witness. She's not confident about dates. Maybe prior, maybe after
View attachment 610474

attendance - according to one witness ( his classes were afternoons Tues, Wed, Thurs)
When boxing or training for boxing, you wrap your hands before punching unless he's some bareknuckle boxer from the 1800s.

I seriously doubt his pre-murder injuries were from boxing, but no clue what they actually were from.

IMO

The injuries appeared AFTER.

He was absent for a week
and when he came back
there were wounds on his hands + he started wearing a puffy jacket & a (black, heavy) coat INDOORS

Besides,
as ppl stated he gave different reasons for injuries to different ppl
(boxing, car accident, indoors accident).

I even sent a link about it upthread.

I guess the witness got confused with the dates.
We all do!!!

Regarding inmate usage of social media, I found the following document at the Idaho Dept. of Correction's Website Policies and Forms.

A "resident" is defined as follows:

Resident: A person who has been convicted of a crime against the laws of the state and ordered into the care and custody of the Board of Correction. Resident includes any use in Idaho law, Board of Correction rule, or IDOC policy or procedure of the terms “offender(s),” “prisoner(s)”, “inmate(s)”, “incarcerated person(s)”, or any other term referring to a person residing in a correctional facility in the care and custody of the Board of Correction.

Computer and Internet Use By Residents

"Resident" access is as follows:

. STANDARD PROCEDURES
1. Resident Compute Device Use and/or Internet Access Within an IDOC
Facility:
a. Staff must ensure that residents who access compute devices are aware of the
restrictions and limitations that apply regarding the use of such compute devices
and/or limited access to the internet, online applications, or similar digital systems.
b. Staff are responsible for monitoring and approving resident computer use and/or
internet access by doing the following:
i. Residents are only authorized to use, access, or view compute devices utilizing
hardware and software approved and provided by authorized IDOC staff.
ii. All compute devices, systems and programs designated for resident use, must
be accounted for by authorized staff. Removable data storage devices will only
be allowed on a limited basis and under the direct supervision of staff.
iii. Resident cloud storage is monitored and audited; it is not private and may be
searched at any time by approved staff.
iv. Residents may only access compute devices, systems and programs designated
for their use by authorized staff.
v. Resident use of and access to facility compute devices, systems or programs
may be withdrawn at any time.
vi. With appropriate approval by Director of Education/District Manager, residents
may use compute devices outside of a computer lab

Can any hard-core sleuthers help me decipher the events leading up to the palm prints on the window, correct me if i'm wrong but appears to be two smallish female prints. If these were Xana's prints from a struggle, there doesn't seem to be a lot of blood in the area?

.
My take? During a party someone came up to the window, put their hands on the glass and made a face at whoever was on the other side. It would be a normal thing for an evening party as a joke. Or old Hallowern decorations someone else mentioned can also make sense. But those are guesses.

Great. Computer access for inmates. What could possibly go wrong?!

Indeed.

I'm concerned as well.

I don't doubt inmates are finding ways to get around the restrictions; what else do they have to do with their time??

However, in The Felon's case, gaining access to forbidden media will come at a price, along with everything else he wants. 😉😏

He's lost his daily shower privileges, his meals are messed with, and he's getting taunted by other inmates.

He will have an "interesting" life from now on.

The more drama he creates over his "missing fruit cup" and "mean" roommates, the more passive-aggressive issues will come up. No one will touch a hair on his little pointy head, but I have no doubt, his writing items, like felt tip marker, will come to him all "dried up" and it will take a week or so to replace them.

You know, things get so confusing with shift change, and people off for vacation. Sorry...we will get right on that....

I don't think he was playing a hero. I think he was tormenting poor Xana as she ran from him.
I agree. I'm suggesting he was trying to *sound* like LE to slow her down. And if he was pursuing Xana, why use Kaylee's name? That's why I think the roommate may have misheard 'Kaylee' for 'lady'.

I hope they block them from watching p o r n. I was once in the children's section of the library that had computers in it so people could access the internet. One of the kids (maybe 15) was watching live p o r n!!! I was like Holy Moly! I hope kids don't walk in here and see what's on the screen before I can go inform the librarian! I'll bet they figured out how to block certain things after that. lol 🤣

Oh, there's the little precious guy. I had missed him, too. (Murphy)
I could tell he was scared and once he was under the crime scene tape he started for the people he knew and was pulled away. Then he looked back.

But didn't B Entin say the inmates have NO access to Internet?? 🤔

(There was a video upthread when he talked about this prison)

Let's be serious!!!
We are talking about Max Security Prison here!

Honestly, SMH

I've never heard about prisoners enjoying Internet hehehe

There are a few selected channels on TV,
and maybe tablets with some games.
Never access to WWW.

It was so fast. It was a party house in Greek Pranks R Us territory.
Calling police would end her good relationship with roommates if it was a prank or some frat weirdo that somebody who used to live there knew. All blame for the situation belongs to the kilker.

I have been trying to understand BK too much since the beginning of all this. I am not sure you can ever understand the mind of a (serial?) killer. When somebody mentioned Pat Brown, I looked on Audible and found her book Profiling. Maybe it is just me but her description of the serial killer checklist in Chapter 2 was very interesting (paraphrasing).

✓glibness, superficial charm
✓gregarious, grandiose sense of self-worth
✓pathological lying, lying when not necessary
✓cunning, manipulative
✓lack of empathy, psychopath
✓no remorse or guilt of acts
✓flashes of anger, when not getting their way
✓callous, play-acting a role
✓indifferent to news of murder
✓shallow affect, no depth of feeling
✓never taking responsibility, blaming others
✓promiscuous sexual behavior
✓underachieving
✓difficulty with relationships with women
✓leaning towards violent ideation
✓precipitating event that makes them feel like losers, causing them to act out and gain control

Just interesting to consider. JMOO
Most of those also align with both overt and covert narcissism.

When I saw the video, I was surprised that he didn’t have the standard prison issued shoes.

What did he have on?

LE had cctv of the Elantra pretty early, then even better images, and while LE did ask for "the persons" driving in that vehicle to come forward, for they might be eye witnesses to something, what LE didn't do was appeal to the public more than that. IMO they had the DNA and they didn't need input from the public.

But if they had, IMO tips would have come in.

FBI would have helped compile a profile.

Among other characteristics (would they have released athletic build, bushy brybrows?),
Changes in habits or appearance
Changes in vehicle
Physical injuries
Not showing up where expected-- work, school, family functions

As long as that bolt reached WSU, I think WSUers would have blown up the Idaho tip line.

Is it true he didn't show that whole week. Sounds like his attendance was historically spotty but wow. Injuries to conceal? Make-up to buy? Seriously. Did he use actual concealer to cover up cuts and blisters? Late night tilling with a hand shovel?

It was extraordinary police work, gathering the cctv footage they did.

No wonder AT wanted to talk about seven irrelevant minutes at 3 am in Pullman. It was the only span where the felon wasn't trackable, whether from no cameras or no footage (by the time they had his name and knew he was from Pullman, how much cctv had been overwritten?).

An hour later though -- his route, lit up like Luminol. Round and round 1122 King Rd. Pauses here, pauses there, big pause at 4:08/9, before speeding away at 4:21..

DNA or not, somebody was going to tip him in.

JMO

Good thinking! I'm wondering why they didn't do all of this, even with the sheath DNA. The FBI didn't figure out the murderer's DNA until Dec. 19. I'm definitely not criticizing them, as they know way more about all of this than I do. But it seems he could have tried something again a month later before they caught him, and doing as you suggested could have gotten his name (and thus his DNA to match the sheath) sooner. Maybe they were using forensic psychology to believe he'd have a cool-off period long enough? I'd love to hear all of your thoughts on this. JMO.

Sounds like SOP in any prison across America for a newly incarcerated mass murderer. Sorry, not sorry Bry Bry.

After complaining about his food tray, you can be sure what he'll be sent now will be scary IMO.
Absolutely! Anybody else here see the movie “Road Trip” and the pancakes? 🤣

Yeah, in my personal experience, you get two pairs: those rubbery (plastic or PVC) open-toe slip-on shoes they call shower shoes and a pair of canvas sorta-sneakers w/no laces that you wear whenever you go outside your cell basically, although very common to wear shower shoes outside of the shower as well.
