Apparently, there is another show called #cybersleuths about this case. I saw it on YT. It mentions Websleuths, but the show was mainly about TikTok true crime people.

IMO, some people are so desperate for attention on themselves.

You mean, those people and sites (TikTok) without guardrails that can say anything and everything, true or not? Those sites? ;)

Not hard to imagine that BK was bad for business. But also, the two waitresses IMO most likely to have interacted with him were no longer alive to report it.

I happen to think the Mad Greek was one of his first stops when he arrived in Pullman.

JMO
THIS! 100% believe.

My heart really breaks for his mom.

She was probably worried about his safety, what with a quadruple murderer on the loose not far from Pullman, from her point of view.

And these tormenting early morning phone calls, not letting her sleep. And him relying on her to verbally tuck him in at night, even though he had murder on his mind, not a lullaby.

That sister in the picture looks just like him, IMO. I hope that won’t be a lifetime burden for her.

HE was working on grievance letters?????

What utter disconnect.

A stack of grievances against him, from students and colleagues and admin, he's just slaughtered four students, and HE'S aggrieved?????

That had to be one jumbo balaclava.

I know it's shuttered now, but if the Mad Greek had an active Facebook page and a current social presence, perhaps the felon did a little research before settling on WSU. Looking at more than just the menu....

A little online sleuthing from there would not have been hard, scrubbed clean after.

A nexus that goes way back.

He and Letby can sit in that corner together. She deeply enjoyed punishing suspicious colleagues through the grievance process, too. Power and control are the bread and butter of that kind of person. It dovetails with their sadistic natures nicely. They both enjoyed manipulative games almost as much as killing people, IMO.

The psychological enmeshment with his mother suggests he was not willing to separate from her, oversharing and that quite possibly, specifically, her reaction to the murders was important to him. I do not think this surprises anyone, but we are all annoyed by him having any perspective or grievance.

I have grown so tired of him. Today being 9/03, I hope he has opted not to file an appeal by the deadline and that this means crickets from him. JMOO

I'm only a few minutes in. This is really disturbing.

It's like he wrote about himself, his motives and long paragraphs about non-contact sexual motives -- voyeurism, fetishism, transvestism.
Whoa. Getting to the last word of your sentence immediately made my mind go to Norman Bates of Hitchcock's Psycho. I hope that hair they found on the wall in the blood isn't a wig hair... But nothing would surprise me with this cray-cray.
My takeaway so far, just how intentionally he committed these crimes. Full awareness, full possession of his (sick?) faculties, full awareness of the gravity of it.

Here's what I find disturbing about 163214...

His search history for a Britney Spears' song was rather interesting.

Kohberger's alleged browsing activity included Google searches for "University of Idaho Murders" and a program about serial killer Ted Bundy, Britney Spears' song "Criminal," according to Dateline. SOURCE

I was reading the lyrics and thinking "I don't see how this relates to BK and the murders", then I ran across 2 lines from the song about halfway down.

He is a killer just for fun, fun, fun, fun
He's got no conscience, he got none, none, none, none
SOURCE
==========================================================
Also....

the records indicate Kohberger made online inquiries for pornography with the words "forced," "passed out," "drugged" and "sleeping," per the phone data. SOURCE
==========================================================

So... IMO it sounds like he went to Maddie's room for forced, passed out and/or sleeping sex, just for "fun, fun, fun", found Kaylee in bed with her which ruined said fun, fun, fun, he snapped and the killing spree began. :(

All this.

Except I don't think he has any interest in traditional sex. Non contact. Which doesn't rule out weapons/implements.

100% sexual predator, all the same.

IIRC there will be NO APPEALS ever, as per the plea agreement.

"Specifically, on Nov. 17, 2022,
MaryAnn texted her son an article about the case ...
which described the grisly injuries sustained by one of the victims, Xana Kernodle.

The experts say
the text came through while MaryAnn and Bryan were ALREADY on the phone with each other ...
leading them to believe the mother-son duo was discussing the murders at the time."

"There is no indication that MaryAnn
- or any of Kohberger's family members -
knew he was the perpetrator prior to his arrest or guilty plea."

"Nov. 17th stands out a little bit,"
Jared Barnhart, who led the forensic team alongside Heather Barnhart, explained on the Sept. 2 episode of NewsNation's Banfield.

"He had more mother interaction that day than normal, which was a lot. He was on the phone with her for hours that day."

"That night, he received a link from his mom,
and the link was to a news article basically describing how Xana had bruises on her body and how she had put up such a fight,"
he continued.

"There was no response, no text back."

I agree with you in theory but every attorney who has commented on this has said he had 42 days until 9/03 to file ineffective assist/notice of appeal (citing Garza V Idaho). IANAL. That deadline was at midnight.

Angenette Levy explains:

I call it a technicality. JMOO

" 'Not all criminal actions reflect a rational, instrumental process',
Kohberger wrote for one of his classes.

'Crimes of passion involve reactive violence,
which manifests due to intense emotional arousal,
confounding notions of an exclusively cold, criminal calculus'.

He said he wanted to understand
'how emotions,
both positively and negatively valanced,
influence the decision-making involved in burglary before, during and after crime-commission'.

He suggested conducting
'in-person, semi-structured' jailhouse interviews."

PS
What a word salad

Wouldn't we all LOVE to know what 163214 was saying about the murders to his mom.

I'll never agree with no going for the death penalty in this case.
