GUILTY PLEA DEAL ACCEPTED - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #114

Apologies if this has already been mentioned here, but I thought this was interesting. I was watching a YouTube video last night, where the presenter was going through the photo dump of BK’S apartment and office.
He noted, that some of the words written on the whiteboard in the office (which are not redacted) are written in Korean. For example, there is “Bryan” and “Kohberger”, but also, strangely, the word

cal [ 칼 ]

which means ‘knife’ in English.

So, I do not know what to make of this. It is either a mountain or a molehill and whichever way I look at it confuses me. It could be completely unrelated, not something he wrote?!

And, just when I think that this plot gets any clearer, we get this.

I guess until it gets tied properly to the case/BKs handwriting, I am sort of forced to throw it out. JMOO

So I google translated "knife" from English to Korean, and it indeed looks like the symbol with the phonetic of "kal."

I had to see for myself, bc I had all ideas it might be like the tattoos that used to be all the rage and people thought they meant something like "strength" or "honor" but they turned out to mean something like foot or doorknob.

Wasn't it posted earlier on this thread that BK had a Korean doctoral student classmate? IIRC, that was the case. I don't remember if she shared an office with him or they just knew each other from being in the same program or maybe she lived in the same on-campus housing complex as he did. Perhaps someone here remembers those details?

That’s a good point.

I don’t know that she would be randomly scrawling the Korean word for “knife” on the blackboard, so maybe he asked her how to write that in Korean?

More and more weird.

This will be a mystery unless the classmate expounds upon it.

@PinkButtercup
Thank you for the correction! Silly mistake on my part and I’ve now edited.

More and more weird. He didn’t even use a gun.
It's 'knife', rather than gun.
Yes, we don't know who wrote it on the board, or in what context it was written. It is, well...odd that it's there with his name though.

Nancy Grace is extra NG tonite:

I kind of disagree with NG about LE or the prosecutor lying about charging BK with stalking. IIRC, the incidents of stalking that Kaylee reported and documented unfortunately don't line up with BK's trips to the Moscow area on security cam video and other phone data, etc. I think it was GH who pointed this out on his "timelines" videos. The incident of someone breaking the front door and of Kaylee seeing someone in the back yard were on different dates than BK's trips to Moscow.

Yes, according to his driving records, he stalked them, but he couldn't be charged with those specific incidents because the prosecution didn't have evidence to back it up. To me, it was even more disturbing that it appears someone besides BK was also stalking the girls. We can assume that person is still out there. I hope LE is investigating that, especially when someone broke down the front door.

IF true
It might have been a sick mind's "inside joke" understood only by a perp.
The glee greater by the fact
that it was in plain sight, but nobody was any wiser.

Who knows? 🤔

He had 2 Korean officemates, one of them was the one mentioned in the big Dateline episode with leaked details a few months ago.

Specifically mentioned by name on pg 40

Are we to believe that any of his four supposed disorders, that were only diagnosed by people picked by his own defense, and only shortly before the case was to go to trial, and none of which medication was prescribed for, had any bearing on him murdering four innocent people in cold blood? ARFID?? JMO

"In a June court filing
Kohberger wrote that he was diagnosed with:
- Autism (level 1);
- OCD
(obsessive compulsive disorder);
- ADHD;
- ARFID
(which is an acronym for avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder.
Most common in children,
this disorder manifests in highly selective eating habits that greatly limit an individual's diet
and can result in malnutrition and limit a person's physical growth.

All four diagnoses were made in February 2025,
Kohberger wrote.

He also noted in the same document
that he was taking just one prescription medication at the time:
Levothyroxine, which is used to treat hypothyroidism
and is one of America's most-prescribed medications.

Individuals with autism level 1
are high-functioning,
display only a few symptoms of the disorder
and often require no assistance to perform everyday tasks."
Ok so he might not have been necessarily vegan but rather was restrictive, which would explain his purchase of parmeson cheese that someone pointed out on a receipt IMO.

ARFID?? I think that stands for 'Ain't Really Feelin' It, Dude. JMO

😁
That sounds exactly RIGHT to me!
In fact,
it seems the gist of all this.

JMO

i have ARFID as well. It definitely has nothing to do with murdering someone, but it’s a co-occurring ED for many autistic ppl. Since it’s lesser known, and bc I personally also have struggled with anorexia, I generally just call it “disordered eating” or history of eating disorders

Whether or not bk actually has it, i have no idea, but it’s hardly a punchline. JMO

A must watch.

This DESTROYS conspiracies that created stories about the house at the end of the block with lights on and off --

GH shows how the lights correspond to the movement of the Elantra (as reflected in the windows) as it drives UP the hill.

He breaks it down second by second, including the light from the DDD flashlight.

Those windows tell a story indeed. The truth.

He even has the moment he passes the DDD -- and while she may have been preoccupied (maybe with her phone/map/directions) and didn't see him, she likely became aware later that he was indeed right there next to her. That would be freaky, creepy and traumatic, in retrospect.

I’d like to respectfully ask that people refrain from mocking mental health diagnoses. I get joking about BK, and he might or might not have the diagnoses he listed, but they are all still real and can be debilitating and greatly affect someone’s quality of life.

Google seems to think it's permanently closed, but the MG FB page says they are open. Likely they just never posted they were closing, which seems odd.

What Goog says:

Last post on the MG FB page was 7/5, so not that long ago.

It also looks like they were doing a catering event on 4/8 by reading one of the MG's posts.

Link doesn't work for me. Can I get a short explanation?

Of course.

But it was BK himself + Defence
who brought these diagnoses into Court.

What was the aim of it?
To fight Death Penalty.

In other words,
to hide behind these disorders.

But everybody knows
these diagnoses have NOTHING to do with murders.

This tactic seemed to exploit those who suffer from the disorders,
but who never harm anybody.

It is as clear as a day for me
and I suppose for everybody else.

The MG posted happy birthday to Xana on 7/5 and went on to say that the 2 pictures (another one posted below) remind them so much of her personality. They went on to say that after 2.5 yrs, they decided to read/listen to all of Xana's text/voice messages. It must have been too raw before. :( They liked hearing her voice and to remember all of her shenanigans.

It's also really stretching it to for the media and others to represent it as "he was only diagnosed with these things in 2025" and imply that they were made up for the trial by the defense team's representatives. However, even the Idaho Statesman in 2023 reported he was hospitalized for an eating disorder after his extreme weight loss. And while in this article it that info was quoted by friends, this is the Idaho Statesman....and they are very careful in researching what they print:

He wrote this year as diagnosis, likely because that's the most recent date. I highly doubt that he could tell you specifically what month/day of what year he received the official diagnosis during that hospitalization.

I would hold off any judgement as to the veracity/validity of the diagnoses until more documents are released from the defense mitigation witnesses and any info not redacted in other records with historical data about him that will come out from their side.

Sure, they were going to bring it all up for their mitigation phase in terms of trying to avoid the death penalty---but that is literally part of their job, and not verifying and bringing diagnoses to the attention of the court would set up an appeal for ineffective assistance of counsel so fast.

No one expects you to like BK or sympathize/empathize with him. And no matter what issues exist or don't exist, NO diagnosis justified or was the direct cause of what he chose to do. At the same time, acknowledging that these diagnosis may exist doesn't mean a person is excusing his actions or thinking he's not guilty.
