GUILTY PLEA DEAL ACCEPTED - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #116

What kind of company would Bryan need a selfie ID in regards to sensitive documents?
I once helped a friend of mine set up an Only Fans account, and they required something like this as part of their identity verification process.

Wouldn't that be ... interesting!! if he had an OF account! haha, please no, just no.
(It wouldn't be something they'd have you do multiple times anyway, so I think we're safe there)

Would you EVER need it to go on OFs? That fits?!

can you imagine being the person who said her keys disappeared (then reappeared) seeing her home as background in one of his selfies?

She lived in the same apartment complex as him.

Kohberger had a ForisDax/Crypto.com account that was subpoenaed. I wonder if they use that method.

A nice man helped me in Walmart and I said to him, "you are so sweet." He said, "tell that to the inmates where I work." I said, "oh, do you work at a prison? And he said yes. I asked him if he had been following the Idaho case? He said, yes. I asked him what his opinion was of BCK complaining in prison and being taunted by other inmates? He said, "oh, he's going to kill himself. He won't be able to take it." He said that he used to work at that same prison and that it was hardcore. He said the prison he works at now is like a Boys Camp compared to the Idaho prison.

My sister had to do this to recover an old Instagram account after she changed her phone number and email.

My neighbor had to do this to utilize GoodRX.

Thank you all for explaining 🙂

I have never heard of this kind of verification and it is good to know.

I also think that it is the most probable explanation of the photos in question.

BK very likely doesn't have the unlimited hours of telephone access in prison that he had IN THE county jails. I’m not sure how his current isolating confinement deals with telephone privileges in Idaho, but he surely has much less daily support from Mother especially. That has to be a stressor for him. Since he now owes a great deal of money in fines to the state of Idaho, he will not have much ability to purchase commissary goods nor telephone minutes. Even though his attorneys were paid for by the state, in some states a percentage of those fees will be added added on to an inmate’s ‘bill’ or account, to be worked off at a minimal rate of pay and/or left for the family to pay off over time. Still, BK has never seemed to me to be a person who would choose self-annihilation over the alternative of living for the rest of his life in a small cell, sending up Kites (complaints) and requesting yet more special treatment.

As always, just MOO.

I wonder if it was BK's headlights circling that made Xana keep popping up and down thinking that was her DDD?
This parallel storytelling is probably how a film-maker would tell it.

doesn't make it any less creepy
It makes it creepier, IMO, to have lived that close to the person who did that.

Creepy as he is I think he's creepier than we think. JMOO

Never heard this theory ... Interesting

Literally creepy, creeping around everywhere, shadows, in his car, on line, in his classes. I think his mother convinced him to plead guilty and take his punishment. That he had to decide between continued speaking with her and a trial. He probably regrets his choice, which is good thing, even if he does not regret killing people, that he is in anguish for something.

Perhaps it gets bandied about too often, but cognitive dissonance explains so much for me, particularly where criminals still manage to have family support.

Imagine spending HOURS on the phone with your adult son who did, in fact, murder four young people, and foregoing the deep questions like why? why would you do that? Didn't you care about them? or their families? or our family? didn't you care about being caught? what happened to studying criminals, getting your PhD? did you care about nothing? did you care about no one?

And instead having to think of topical things to talk about. Instead having to engage with him while he talks about topical things. While he talks about how inconvenienced he is, how uncomfortable he is, how perturbed he is when  he doesn't get his allotted biscuit.

He can destroy four lives and sentence their families to life forever without them, and he's completely unmoved by that, but short him a breadstick, and see him rage.

I'm going to guess that his family has been used to speaking this language for a long time. Talk around the elephant.

Me, that's time I'd take back. Remember and mourn the baby and toddler he once was, let him wallow in his self-serving complaints, and reclaim that time to spend with the rest of my family, the ones who don't kill people.

I'll care about your dinner roll, Bryem, right after you start caring about people.

Marking that down on my calender. Another second Tuesday of Never.

This may not be popular and I'm not blaming anyone. BK did this to act out against her. I'll show you kind of energy, or look what you created, or see I'm like TB.

He didn't like what he was and wanted to show that he's always been this way, from birth. I think that puts blame on her shoulders by him. If you truly loved someone, and were not in conflict with them, demanding additional negative or positive attention, you would not do this because ultimately it is to them. It reflects on them, it shows you have problems in the world, with women, and possibly with your Mother. JMOO

If someone has the will, can we get a list of the codes? Maybe we will see a pattern.

One thing I noticed is how his handwriting looks like a second grader. The date goes from huge to tiny, like if you were writing it inside of a megaphone shape. His name isn't much better. It is quite odd!

Dysgraphia/fine motor skill differences (things like writing) can co-occur with ASD! (though not a defining feature for diagnosis--you can have dysgraphia etc. without ASD) The handwriting fits with that, in this case.

On that note--one thing I've been thinking of is if he had any kind of childhood diagnosis for ASD and OCD. TO BE CLEAR: I don't think a diagnosis wouldn't have affected his actions unfortunately (JMO, but his other symptoms re: lack of emotion etc. feel more like a separate personality disorder/psychopathy), but if he didn't get diagnosed until this year, I'm surprised tbh, especially the OCD because I feel like I read some interviews that indicated that was a bit more obvious as a teen for BK.

maybe I missed it, but where is it stated he spent HOURS on the phone with his mom? to call everyday, ok sure. I know plenty of people who do that. but some here seem to interpret he was compulsively on the phone (while he was awaiting trial) with her and even speculating as to what they talked about. how do we know his mom has not ever asked him "why did you do that?" or does he feel bad about hurting people, etc. I get the impression that people are reading way more into his relationship with his mom that is really there from what has been made public. is it a weird coincidence that his mom wrote to a newspaper about crowds cheering Ted Bundy's execution & her son eventually becoming a murderer? yes that is strange, but i think it's a giant leap to say those things are cause & effect.

5m video, reviewing released documents-- hours long conversation with his Mother.

If it hasn't been obvious in my posts, I lay no blame on his parents. I think they are victims of BK too, starting long before the crimes. IMO he took gross advantage of their genuine love, their good nature and their untiring desire to help him.
