Police think George, Lee, and Cindy know more than they are telling!

In the end, and it did not take but a very few days, LE did compel Lee to provide his DNA. He gained nothing by refusing.

Snipped for length......

These are my thoughts and have been for quite awhile. Why did they not get
to the nitty gritty in the CA and GA interrogations?? I know know they wouldnt be interviewed w/o MN being there, but before he came on board there was WAY TOO MUCH coddling of the A's by LE!! Especially since they were just as big a part of Caylee's life as Casey was---if not bigger!

Me thinks they have let them keep yakking to further hang themselves until after KC's trial. Get that under the bridge then hone in on Ma and Pa Mis-truth.
:pinocchio:

I don't recall reading or hearing that Lee ever gave his DNA ..
Do you know where you saw/heard it?

TIA

Actually, me too!!! I am saying Duh, because I know as does the rest of us that they know farrr more than what they are telling, especially Cindy. Remember she sent George to work for awhile also so she had ample time alone with both Casey and the car. The fact that she washed the pants still bugs the crap out of me. I know if my grandaughter was missing and both the car and pants that belong to my daughter smelled like a dead body I sure as heck wouldn't go wash them. I would bag them up and give them to the police!!! I just do not understand them at all!!

I have always thought one of the oddest things was Cindy sending George to work. That is just so strange..even stranger is the fact that he actually went. Wild horses would not drug me away that night of ALL nights. I really want to hear him explain why he did go to work when all this was JUST unfolding. I mean, hell, this was the FIRST clue they even had that something was wrong.

Yep, it just made the "cloud of suspicion' get larger over their head.

Does anyone wonder if there is anything corrupt about LE that keeps the A's or KC from talking? There are bad people in every profession - bad lawyers (I had a boss who was shooting up in the office and stealing from me), bad doctors, bad accountants, etc. I know we all love Yuri and I think that the initial interrogations of KC were great but after that, they just mellowed way too much for my taste.

I have not read the whole thread yet, but this one I just have to address: that is one nasty accusation, even if you are just 'wondering'. Det. Melich, Det. Allen and every other LE officer involved in this case are doing all they can to find the answers. Why have they not pushed GA, CA, LA and even Casey harder? Because someone would sure enough scream police harassment if they did. Casey lawyered up immediately - they haven't been able to interview her since she was arrested the first time. In the beginning, While they knew Casey was lying through her teeth, they still had to take into account that Caylee might still be out there somehwere alive when they were dealing with the family. No matter what people think, these are not hardened criminals and LE just can't use overbearing tactics with them. If they did, it would be way to easy for a good defense attorney to turn that back on them in court and possibly get any statement they made thrown out. I don't care if you say you don't think LE is doing a good job, I would just disagree, but to accuse them of corruption - that is going way overboard and completely uncalled for. You might want to think about editing your post.

IMO, this was because of his LE background. She knew if he saw her "cleaning" up something he would be contacting LE. CA & KC are more like sisters then mother and daughter.

"Police think George, Lee, and Cindy know more than they are telling! "

No Way! How could this be? Really?

(MVOSO = My Very Own Sacastic Opinion)

Coley - Addressing your post above, I think it's even stanger to think that under the circumstances, pansy husband gets "sent to work" and goes.

MOO

George says, how high

If they would have been honest about anything and everything from the get go then I could understand if they wanted to make this statement if they felt LE wasn't doing anything and everything to help them. LE has said from the get go that KC was and is the only thing that can help them. If they can't help themselves (and no not to the Koolaid) then no one can help them. Not LE, FBI, TES, LP, etc.

Yes, very. I believe that GA probably didn't think this was strange b/c he has probably always dealt with this since getting married and especially after the kids were born. To me CA wants to be the main friend oops I mean parent so she has always been the one to cover up the kids faults and mistakes leaving GA not to be aware of any of it.

Did anyone see this?

"Meanwhile, investigators are still trying to get more information out of George and Cindy with little success," D'Onofrio said. "They believe they have a lot of information they're keeping from them. Detectives still want to talk to Cindy about the smelly clothes in Casey's car she washed. They also believe George and Lee know more than they're willing to share."

Don't have time for a long post, but have to say this...DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GA/CA/LA........know ALLOT more than telling! IMO and of course KC knows ALL..........

Didn't George even say something along those lines to Cindy early on?

I seem to recall him warnng her they could be charged with obstruction, or withholding evidence? Anyone else remember?

Yes, his most recently released audio interview with LE.

:)
Did I read or hear somewhere that LE has a secret witness?

You may have read it but it is not a reliable statement. The prosecution must disclose all witnesses (with very limited and extreme exceptions) and this duty to disclose to the defense is a continuing obligation.

If they find they have a new witness at this point, they would have to amend the witness list which was previously furnished . Otherwise:

Per FL Rules Criminal Procedure 3.220:

(3) The court may prohibit the state from introducing into evidence any of the foregoing material not disclosed,
so as to secure and maintain fairness in the just determination of the cause.

That prohibition would preclude from testifying, a witness who has not been disclosed.

Hopefully the "secret witness" will be Caylee's body.
:prayer:

Is there a cut off date as to when no more evidence can be entered or disclosed?
