Anyone watching this helicopter doing circles near Jindabyne? Not sure if a ‘private’ vehicle would be called in, but it’s odd that it’s just been circling for a good thirty minutes? View attachment 611753

It is owned by Sydney Helicopters - no idea what it is doing though.

Both Police chopper and HEMS1 seem to be on the move atm as well. Looks like those two are going towards Essendon, probably for a change of shift and/or refuel.

ETA: Probably not refueling given they can probably do that at the local airfield.

Edit: one of the helicopters has its flight plan visible, and it is heading to Wangaratta. It is probably not involved in this search.

I’ve been watching the ambulance that has listed its flight path as heading to Wangaratta - but it has slowed right down and is now over the search area. I wonder if it is trying to help out and do a search on its way to Wangaratta, or if it is trying to trick Dezi if he is accessing the flights.

Edit:- that ambulance just landed at the Police compound at the winery - so it was a ploy.

X fingers they have got him. I am anxious about the two ambulance choppers, though - that is very rare and would usually indicate multiple injured parties, i just hope it is not that.

What Troops, you mean he can't just go into court throw his useless words around & flick his papers!

His vocabulary just isn't up to it..he's stuck on traffic regulations and constitutional garble...he knows he's going to fall short on this aspect of the law. It is a dreadful reputational destroying accusation, not many come back from it, and he , least of many because of his non job, non homeowning, non obedient citizen status... he's starting out behind...

His 'bits and bobs ' as the magistrate put it, won't do him any good up against a police prosecutor....

Thankyou @Detechtive, but turns out they were only searching. Unusual to see them all together, so I did think something was afoot. But, nah, only searching.

Yeah, I think they've been perpetually on call in case of another shooting.

All I can think of is how many people may have been in need of them while they're tied up over the arrogance of one entitled man.

I think there where 2 AV choppers (one going towards Essendon and on coming from Essendon) because they change shifts around that time.

Ambulance choppers are usually involved in search and rescue (of many different kind) so their participation is not unusual.
