I was starting to wonder whether Freeman was even in the bush but this news suggests police believe he’s still holed up somewhere in or around Mount Buffalo and they still have a full force tactical op going on. They won’t stop and his stress levels must be volcanic by now.
Seven days in the bush, hunted, armed, and cornered by armoured vehicles and aerial surveillance. That’s psychological implosion territory.
Meanwhile, Freeman's nephew, Luke, described Mount Buffalo as Freeman's "holy place".
"He's always told me if he wanted to be dead and buried somewhere, it's going to be on Mount Buffalo," he said.
