If she continues to withhold cooperation or is found to have played a role in Freeman’s evasion, criminal charges and incarceration are on the line. That would mean separation from her children, potential loss of custody, and long-term consequences for her family.
If she truly prioritised her children’s safety, she’d surely be making radically different choices right now.

Possibly the same for Mali being an Aus citizen or the kids births being registered. Even claiming de facto status, long term residency, or Aus born kids isn’t a guarantee of safety. Dez is done & dusted - an afterthought now. How has the safety of herself and her kids not become an urgent and automatic priority for her? It feels like she’s still only orbiting Dezzy the desperado.
