So I’ve been thinking about how the fam were originally reported as hostages and then in other reports they were in the same location when Filby is reported to have executed those poor police officers.

Could Filby have shot the first detective (I not saying he did tho) and perhaps the next (again, just speculating) and then used his family as a shield to make an exit, maybe shooting our 3rd officer as he went. Did he continue with his human Freeman-shield into the bush far enough to get a head start and then tell the fam to make for a safe place like a friends joint or church/hut/etc.

So yeah, marked as general sexual offending as CSA is not specified.

However current allegation clearly & consistently states sexual abuse of a minor, during the past two years.

Most paederasts are habitual offenders who abuse more than one child, or abuse a child over a long period of time.

I think the common thread is that sexual offenders aren't generally a 'one off' kind of criminal. They have a pattern of behaviour of abusing vulnerable people around them.

well, but you would still have to be placed on the Sexual Offender Registry, which has happened and which is absurd, imo.

Mate, first of all the 2021 arrest has been reported as being in relation to a sexual-related offence. The only source is a 2021 Border Mail article.

Second of all, it is not stipulated what the offence was. It was not said to be a child sexual assault as you claim. It could have been any sexual related charge (if the article is even correct - it does not appear in the records). I could go and urinate in a park behind a tree, and if someone saw me I could be charged with a sexual crime.

Thirdly, Dezi never said that his wife's name was Suzie in the video linked in your post. He says his name is Dezi / Dezi Freeman. The man recording misheard him and asks, "Suzie Freeman?". That's it.

This is true about sexual offense charges, my uncle had dispute with neighbor while on his tractor, he stood up dropped his pants and mooned the neighbor (man).
He was charged with indecent exposure.
I don’t know why but I feel that this historical sex offense charge was not on the up and up. But they needed a reason to enter the home/bus.
If they had evidence of that it seems it would have been an arrest warrant and not a search warrant.

There are thousands of old mineshafts across Victoria. Horizontal tunnels called adits, made for drainage or access, provide ready-made caves.

“We’ve found beds in there,” author and amateur goldfields historian Darby Lee says, adding that historically they have provided a warm, dry place for people with limited options.

Lee says that for every mine shaft registered, there’s another that’s not. And there’s a history of people camping out.

“The old timers used to do it around Bendigo all the time, until the 60s and the 70s, when the councils got on to it,” he says.

“We’ve found beds in there. It’s dry, it’s warm, and it might look a big gnarly but it’ll keep you out of trouble.”

So if that photo is two years old, then the youngest would be currently a toddler. Which brings me back to my question from a few days ago - how did Mali get away from police? The police have said her and her children were there during the shooting. I just don't get how she could get away with a toddler without police stopping her?

Me either. I did notice that in a presser from Commissioner Bush he answered a reporters question about what the other 7 cops did immediately after the shooting & he said they " hunkered down " immediately after the shooting.

Freeman’s mental health appeared to deteriorate during a stint living in Myrtleford, from about 2016 to 2019, the man said, and then spiralled further as he was drawn into the so-called freedom movement during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The man, who said he last saw Freeman about two years ago, believed his intelligence was “one of his downfalls”, fuelling a curiosity that led to him being radicalised online.

The disabiity thingo is also reviewed , I think ,about every 2 years,it depends on who is in Govt...Libs crank it up, Labor cranks it down.....Originally he seems to have been granted this on a physicial disability...... no reason why that would not morph into a psychological handicap, none at all.

I think wives of disability pensioners also receive a payment, but no idea how much. .his children would, also. at least the youngest ones would.

A family member told the Herald Sun say he has been on the pension for more than 20 years, though they questioned what entitled him to it, recalling only that he complained of a sore tooth.

“It wasn’t about working for money. It was about trying to get it from the Government,” they said.
“He always told everyone how poor he was and that he was the victim. He always wanted people to empathise … the hypocrisy. The whole family kind of laughed at him.”
