Possible lead in Susan Powell case, 8-18-11

I'd be filing court papers to get those kids the (blank) out of the Powell home.

I would too however if there is any truth to some things in Susan's diary about her family that might be the reason why they cannot see the kids.

I really don't know of any court that would deny any grandparent access to their grand child except in the case if those grandparents has a history of abuse of some kind.

I don't know if this is the case...maybe it is just the police asked the family to have less contact to bide their time because one day they will have full custody of them once JP and his dad are arrested.

If you go to UserCP, there's a place where you can set up the pages so none of the signatures show up. That's how I have mine set. It makes scrolling quicker and might help with your problem.

If the restraining order is for Josh Powell against Cox, then how is Cox shopping at the same store at Josh's father violating the order? It sounds as if only Josh's father was present and he doesn't have a restraining order, does he?

Is Mr. Cox suppose to survey Josh as to any possible stores, parks, roads he might use so Mr. Cox doesn't use them?

These poor people, not even allowed to see their grandkids. And the kids will lose out in the end. The grownups will get over it, but the boys deserve to know both sets of grandparents. Otherwise they won't know a thing about their mother.
Josh seems like a pigheaded jerk to me.

West Valley City Mayor Mike Winder said that out of respect for the investigation, he has not pried for details on the Ely search, but has full confidence in the police department, "whether it's in two days, two months or two years, this mystery will be solved."

It was some kind of get-together, but at least a year before Susan disappeared.

It might be evidentiary, but excluded in court as hearsay.

I believe it would not be hearsay if the person he said it to was the one to testify. It would only be hearsay if Person X testified he heard Josh say that to Person Y.

I wish the authorities would get to the bottom of this and am hoping the data they collected today will be of some advance and closure in the case. It's getting nutty again on the perimeters.

Steven Powell works for the Washington State Prisons. He sells furniture and stuff that the inmates make to schools and other institutions.
