Wait, I thought it was Steven's, he put her garments with his
. Am I wrong?
And even though I really don't want to get into this, in the value of misinformation, there is no "special" way to wash garments. I believe the only thing I was ever told was to not leave them laying around on the floor.
All these friends and family need to come out and tell everything they know no matter what the police have told them.
They need to turn up the heat on the "Powell Compound". Can you imagine how warm it is getting in there about now?
I bet the sister who is still living with Papa Powell is about fed up with it all.
I think Steve Powell is just a perpetual liar. I've seen men deny making any sexual advances to a woman and saying it was all coming from "her" --- only to have either witnesses or a video catch them in the act of just the thing they swore they didn't do.
We already know he has the character of a sewer rat (not to insult rats). And one thing I thought strange -- I just remember reading about the wet spot on the carpet, and just read the other day that SP said it was a "red stain that was probably from juice or something". How the hell does he know it was a red stain?? Was that in the news? I don't remember it anywhere.
Why didn't he mention the temple garments in his locked closet?
Temple garments to a Mormon are more personal and more valuable and have more meaning than a wedding ring. So how does he explain the temple garments?
This mentally ill unstable woman gave them to him, and instead of turning them over to her husband/his son, he put them away for safe keeping????? Riiiigggghhhht!!!!
Or is this just another crazy person making up stories about him???? He seems to have a lot of crazy people in his life. LOL you know how to tell if you are crazy? When everyone else you know seems crazy and you are the only person who knows what is really going on.
I wish LE could get a warrant to get into that closet. If he runs true to type and if he had anything to do with her disposal, there will be a suvenior (sp) of her death/ burial site in that closet.[/quote]
Very good point! He would not be able to help himself!
Same here.
The "shouldn't judge" thing only means "then you can be judged". That's fine with me, and I'm sure it's fine with you. Go ahead and judge us, and in return, we get to judge Josh Powell's actions
Judgement is what we use, to decide whether our actions are right or not -- whether it's a choice of unmatched socks or deciding to harm another person.
It's the person without judgement, that I fear ... and not for their socks![]()
I think it simply means, with hatred in your heart.
I don't hate anyone, not even Josh or his father for things they have said about Susan.
I can't hate people, so hold no hatred in my heart for anyone,
But I'm sure their own actions will judge them someday, a lot worse then any way I can say, "look what you did"........that will come from their God, their Higher selves.
I do think it's fine to judge any kind of omission or guilt that is rather obvious as long as it's without prejudice of hatred or any prejudices.
It's simply an opinion we make based upon facts.
1 + 2 = 2 not 1+1= 4.
It's rather obvious what has occurred.
I'm not sure I'm following this post. I understand not being able to judge someone, but 1+2 does not equal 2 and therefore I don't understand what obviously has occurred. Maybe I just need to take a break.
I love that the LE officers involved the press in their Ely searches. It brought out the Powell duo, and got them talking to the press again. It got the ball rolling. The more these cretins speak the more obvious their guilt becomes. I used to blame the whole thing on Josh, but now I think his father was involved in the disposal. Keep talking guys.
"You have no right to those journals," Chuck Cox said to Steve Powell, Josh's father, during a rally for Susan held on Saturday. "Those are my daughter's journals."
Steve Powell said the journals are now his son's property and they will probably be posting them online at susanpowell.org. " http://www.komonews.com/news/local/128183583.html
The only way those journals could be Josh's property is if Susan is dead. Otherwise, they are Susan's property and they have no right, legal or otherwise, to publish them in any form whatsoever. When Papa Powell says they are the property of Josh, then he is pretty much admitting that Susan is dead. Keep talking, Steven. Keep talking. You just are not smart enough to outwit the entire world!

This is correct. There is a special way to discard old garments however. You don't just throw them in the trash. Perhaps this is what Laytonian was thinking of.

[snip]
In one alleged entry, Josh Powell claims that Susan had written she had "taken 10 Ibuprofen," but then later admitted that she "wasn't trying to kill herself." The Powells believe the alleged journal entries from Susan's young life show that she was a troubled and even sexually motivated woman, who could have easily run off with another man in December of 2009.
"It is imminently clear that Susan led a double life, from the time she was 13, 14, or possibly even 12," says Steve Powell.
On the video from KUTV, the newsperson stated that Steven Powell questioned how the statements being made by friends and relatives about Steven's advances on Susan is going to help to find her. Yet, somehow he believes journal entries from age 12 will be more significant to finding Susan than what was happening during the time of her disappearance?
This is the post that has the info in it. It is Steve'sand he got the garments out of the dirty laundry, that's where mine are and then they get separated into the whites....I don't see anything that is smearing Susan at all.
ETA: I think that last statement was poorly worded, in further review it looks like she is saying it's hers by including it with the pictures and journals but I believe it means that stuff was put where thealready was.
