If they call it totally drained... fine. But I bet they're going to have to do a heavy duty grid search still, on what's left under some of higher spots of water in that pond. JMO.

Just listening now, Cobra said that.

I agree with the caller, and I think this person should be charged with stalking. Iirc this is the same person who had people hysterical and heartbroken with FALSE reports HaLeigh was dead at Misty's hands and other bs. It was sickening and cruel and I believe she will hear from LE and lawyers for the family eventually.
Was she on Teresa's property in order to take the photos as the caller indicated?

The caller wasn't the one who actually brought up the break-in at Teresa's and the stolen memory cards. It was one of the commentators, but I don't recall which one.

There are some scary mugshots on that site! LOL I notice how many people they pick up there with out of county warrants or who have violated probation. I keep wondering if they are due to traffic stops? They seem to capture a lot of them!

I guess the media often takes photos of people's homes, but it appears they have been respectful of most people involved in this case. I haven't seen them taking shots of people's homes and putting them out in the media so everyone knows their exact location. To me, this is dangerous for many reasons.

While it may have been Cobra who mentioned the break-in, it doesn't mean it did not happen. I would be concerned if someone had posted photos of my home and location on the internet then I was broken into shortly afterward.

Taking photos of restaurants and gas stations is helpful to get an idea of the area. Those photos are much appreciated. Search areas like those posted today are excellent to understand the terrain and the task at hand for LE.

There are just some lines which should not be crossed tho...IMO. I think the legitimate media has tried to stay within those boundaries.

Google maps has many homes, most likely even yours or mine. You can almost walk into some homes via these maps, given the correct address. This is not true at all about the person taking pictures around their town. There's so much more tangled web of lies that this would be considered a rumor unless it's an all out tell all about posters on other sites? Hope it's not, but let me know. I don't want to cause any trouble. Thx

LOL I almost made the same comment concerning the mugshots thinking whew, those guys are lookin scarier by the day.

One thing I learned today from the photos is the prep work involved no one calculated or commented on prior to them being able to drive in their vehicles and equipment. As you could see the neccessary scrapings of the roads, brush and limbs laying down along the dirt roads in order for passing. Gives a bigger understanding.

I'm thinking that no remains at all were found in this latest search, or we would have heard something from somewhere by now. LE confirming there was some evidence found, give it a few days for testing and maybe we'll hear some details to put forth some more theories to lead to Haleigh Bug.

Has anyone checked the normal news sites in the last two hours?

We haven't speculated why Misty was taken in for questioning.

No she was not on TN or anyone else's property, she was in the street. She took pictures of the adjacent residences as well. The residences are so close to the street, no one would have to leave public R.O.W. to take a picture. The only pictures taken or shown were of the street view.

IIRC, Cobra is the one that chimed in with the "break in" theory which tells me all I needed to know right there. To insinuate that a lady, who has worked tirelessly to help all of us understand the stage of this tragedy, was part of a crime is wrong IMO.

All anyone has to do to determine that the picture came from Ger's camera is view it in a Windows picture file and right click over the picture, select properties, scroll down in the window and it gives you the type and model camera used along with the date and time taken.

I think stalking would be a mighty looooooong stretch, and that person's photos are easily defensible. [ha-ha, but I have to confess I thought they were FAKED. Oh well. My apologies to him/her.]

Heck, have you never seen the Google cars riding down the road with 4 cameras mounted on top? Same difference, imo.

I would say that Misty was taken in as a response to Tommy, Lindsay, and others being questioned. They would want to go over whatever they said and get her side of it...or that would be my best guess.

They spent a ton of money on this weekend's search. Wow. I can't imagine what it cost them to drain that pond alone! I do hope they did not come up empty after spending that kind of cash. Maybe we will hear something, but I doubt it. They aren't going to spill the beans on any evidence, imo. (Maybe someone will leak it tho!)

I don't know the exact dimensions, but the area between a roadway and in on a parcel of land (about 3-4 ft from the edge of the road) is considered public property.

Years ago, the City of Palatka whacked up one of my dogwood trees while re-paving my street. When I called to complain, they said, "Oh well, it was growing on public right-of-way. We could remove the whole thing if we want to."

Ya never know... I wouldn't be too terribly surprised if we get an arrest [or several] today or tomorrow re: Haleigh. [Bless that child's heart.]

I just finished reading some old astro threads on this case. It was eye opening and refreshing. There is hope. If you are like me and are just worn out, take a look at those threads at the beginning of the case. They really strike a chord.

While I don't expect any arrests, I wouldn't be surprised about new charges possibly.

I'm sitting here thinking, wasn't it Snodgrass who offered the furniture to Haleighbug center? I can't help this feeling that his interest at that time was not well placed. You know the criminal usually does stay close to the crime and see what he/she can find out.
Our astros said the perp is smart, thinking he has gotten away with the crime, then evidence will come to light. Forgive me, I'm just hoping for a ending soon.

A look at the completely drained pond revealed various items dumped and discarded over the years. Investigators did remove and bag several small items but declined to elaborate on what was taken. Sheriff’s officials have told family members that nothing was found in the pond.

Late Sunday afternoon, a large crane began digging ditches around the large pond. Those ditches were to allow the pumped out water to return to the pond.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Dive crews in Putnam County wrapped up their search of a lake in the Haleigh Cummings case, Sunday.

Authorities spent 20 hours draining the lake, and search dogs walked along the muddy bottom looking for evidence.

This may be a dumb question, but where did they put the water that was drained out of the pond? Was it just pumped to the swampy ground surrounding the pond? That was quite a bit of water.

I wondered along those lines as well. Especially considering that they were searching the pond in response to one of over 4000 tips. Of course only Law Enforcement would be privy to the tip unless we have an arrest and records are released in accordance with the Sunshine laws.

I was watching the water shooting out of one end of the tubes ( looked like a large hose I would place on my dryer vent) and wishing there was a filter or screen or something to catch anything important. My guess is they had an idea of what they were looking for and weren't concerned about anything that might have gotten trapped in a filter. Time will tell.

Cobra has the same thoughts on his BTR interview (not sure if I can post the link to that show or if it has already been discussed)
