I just don't understand why PR never rushed to JB. Like you all here, I would have gone to my child, I wouldn't have thought about it, my body would have been in motion before my brain kicked in. Mothers just react like that! Probably fathers do as well, I have seen my husband move pretty darn quick when one of our girls have hurt themselves. There is NO excuse in the world for her not getting up, NONE!! Interesting how she explains it away though.
(I haven't seen this before it is from ACandyRose, sorry if you have discussed it somewhere else here, I am still trying to read everything I can)

COURIC: Patsy, when did you learn that John had found JonBenet?
Ms. RAMSEY: Well, at the--I was in--when I heard him scream, I was standing in the little den. And I just heard this blood-curdling scream. And, you know, I said, 'What, what is it?' And my friend made me--made me stay in that room. She said, 'Wait, don't--don't, just wait.' And I kept just struggling and finally, you know, went into the living room, and John was standing there with Linda Arndt. And--and I looked down and there she--she was lying there.
Someone made her stay put and was holding her back? I wonder who this someone was and if they were ever questioned about their version of events? I for one don't believe that little story. I am pretty sure there was some discussion about if JR screamed that morning somewhere on a thread here. In that interview she is saying that he did.
Toltec, the description that you gave about Fleet and Barbara was incredibly visual for me. Those poor people, I just cant imagine how how much that would have affected them. The more I read the more I am seeing how many people's lives were ruined. It is heartbreaking!
Just wanted to add, on page three of that transcript PR admits that she dyes JB's hair.

COURIC: Did you highlight her hair even? Or...
Ms. RAMSEY: Sure, yeah. I highlighted it gently to try to blend it a little bit. Yeah.
These people were, gee there is no one word for what I think!
