None of the channels stream to North America. Not surprised but disappointed.
Oh well, I got to sleep in a bit. LOL

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you have enjoyed the photos though.

Sure did, they were great. I do think the RF should keep the 'relatives' down to immediate family of the Queen and let some of her cousins and cousins children stay out of view. Now that the Queen has great grandchildren, its time to let the others stay indoors. JMO.

I did get a kick out of watching the Phillips girls with the Cambridge kiddies.
Edwards son was there too, he was wearing glasses, so it took me awhile to figure out who he was.....very well behaved the Wessex kids. Lady Louise is turning into a lovely young woman.

I guess the Tindalls were at home awaiting the arrival of their second child.
Little Mia seems to be a real fire cracker.....lol

Photos from today’s Trooping the Colour

Daily Mail website users are outraged at the Duchess of Sussex’s outfit and are asking if she was going to a cocktail party and if she has had her teeth whitened in Essex.

I think some would be critical no matter what Meghan wore, but I don’t think this was her finest fashion moment. I like Meghan’s style normally, but the bare shoulders seemed a bit much to me for the occasion. I’m kind of surprised that she thought that dress was appropriate and I wonder if she sought any guidance before choosing it. But it’s not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things.

The Daily Mail website users are never happy mostly always condemning Meghan for one thing or another.

I just realised the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) wasn’t on the balcony which is very sad but understandable.

The four children of the Queen were all entitled to style their children as prince/princess, so I'm not sure it's so much that Andrew pushed for it but that Anne and Edward chose not to.

Margaret chose to have her children styled as children of an earl (her husband was the earl), and Edward has followed that and had his children styled with titles for the children of an earl. Edward himself would carry an earldom, so the children can use the styling for the child of any of the titles he carries as I understand it.

George VI was the second son, so following your idea that would mean that the Queen wouldn't have been a princess until her father became king.

I have no idea how they make that decision and I don't have an opinion in the matter. I'm not disagreeing with you, just replying.

Prince Edward, is expected to become the Duke of Edinburgh when his father passes away. He has taken over parts of the role involving the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, for example as Prince Phillip has aged.

IMO, its kind of nice and seems like a healing of a rift from years back when Edward quit the forces and faced his fathers wrath. I felt very bad for Prince Edward in those days, we are not all alike but Prince Phillip didn't seem to have any 'wiggle room' for that kind of EQ.

Ordinarily, I would agree, but the Lifetime movie about Harry and Meghan was actually quite good. I finally watched it last night, and, in fact, DH watched most of it, too. Sans over-the-top villains or villainesses and cheesy plot lines usually seen in Lifetime flicks, Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance presents the couple as being true soulmates who strive to overcome their inherent differences and focus on their passion for humanitarian causes. BDE rating: B+

I stumbled upon this movie over the weekend. I was quite surprised that I really, really enjoyed it! I watched it Friday night and again on Sunday.

The Duchess of Sussex showed her growing bond with the Queen today as the pair carried out their first official engagements together in Cheshire, just a month after her wedding.

Meghan, 36, and the monarch, 92, seemed to be getting on famously, with Meghan giggling and whispering into the Queen's ear while watching a children's performance at the opening of a new bridge across the River Mersey in Widnes.

The royal visitors were seen smiling and chatting to each other and to dignitaries as they watched youngsters dance to a seven-minute medley of music that included Edgar's March Pomp and Circumstance and The Beatles' Can't Buy Me Love.

I love this photo of them both.

I arrived early for a dental appointment Thursday and had time to read two recent articles about Meghan in People magazine. I'm happy that she and the Queen seem to be getting along famously, and I think Meghan will be a huge asset to the Royal Family. Waiting patiently for news of a baby bump :D
