How did you go about verifying the August 11th video if it didn't have a date and time stamp? Interesting if they were there the same day as Kronk and he could go down the slope, but they couldn't. Moo

I didn't list the date the video was shot - I said, it doesn't have a time stamp. But, Gale and Co were in Orlando Aug 11-13 and they reported this video was taken on that trip.
Is that what you are asking? I tried to make it clear on the chart - anyone else having problems following it?

BTW - if you google, you will find numerous interviews Gale did while in Orlando at this time.

LOL! That direction is like the Hurricane landfall prediction cone. No "directly" to it. The further away, the wider the "zone" is. In this case, that zone would be east past the school to west past where the body was found,, right?

Which is why the student screaming ,fit with what was being reported.

So no, they did not directly point to where the body was found. They pointed in the direction across the retention pond and the woods. Which is in front of the school.

Man there are a lot of things I would like to see off bus videos. Yes they have to be a block away before the camera will show a distance, but you can still make out cars. Moo

Yeah I was just pointing out if they went to the end of the street to turn around, it would be caught on camera if a camera was there. It is a main entry point into the school. As far as I know, there are no cameras there.

I think what it is, is that the defense probably planned to use the searchers info to claim it was substantial evidence. The judge gave Tes a continuation. That made it impossible for the defense to make their claim with documents. The Judge understood this, and changed the discovery schedule to this week. The deadline was changed by the Judge. He agreed to have both sides sit down this week and go over discovery.

In my opinion, the information from the Tes searchers is substantial evidence that shows the body was not there. They provided this information a long time ago. They did meet the deadline.

I am not sure that the Judge ever said that the defense had to bring this proof to the prosecution, but to him. And to stay on topic, I believe that it is possible that this latest motion may have something to do with a Tes searcher. Mooo

BBM. NTS, even if there is information from any searchers that they did not find the body there ~ all it means is: they did not find the body there at the time they were searching. It is not substantial evidence that would show the body was not there. There's a huge difference!

IMO, it's unlikely that this new info is associated with any searchers.

Let me first say that I do not agree with what JB is doing in regards to RK. It's one thing to gather evidence to use at trial but it's another to smear someone's reputation in the court of public opinion. He needs to do as the SA is doing and not release tidbits to the media. He needs to shut up and try the case in court.

All that being said, JB isn't doing anything illegal in regards to his (in my opinion) abhorrent smear of RK. As LONG AS HE DIDN'T TAMPER WITH EVIDENCE TO FRAME RK. He's defending his client (even if he KNOWS she's guilty). He's doing his job. Although I think it's distasteful how he's mouthing off to the court of public opinion rather than saving all his "reasonable" doubt for the courtroom.

And please let me clarify before some pro defense folks jump on me. The SA is NOT leaking information. Due to the FL sunshine laws information is being released to the media due to a media records request. You have NEVER once seen the SA stand on the courthouse steps and mouth off to the media. They keep their comments to "We have no comment". And in my opinion this case would have been much different if JB & Company including the A's had followed in the footsteps of the SA.

I first saw it on some blog or forum somewhere as a local person who heard second or third-hand from the witness. Next I heard of it, was the stuff about Hoover having approached a TES person in confidence to report it. Then on another site, what I thought was reported as a woman having called in the "tip" they were saying it was a "teen." Thus........... the ????????? remain today. So NTS, what you are saying is that because TES has not released ALL of their records, and from back posts because it appears the FBI has not yet released approximately 10% of their findings, (not 10% of all evidence from SA so far) - that for these reasons the Defense is unable to come up with a witness list at all?
Because JS didn't ask them to provide their full and final witness list - just what they have ready at present - which seems to be- based on their production - to be ZIP.

As an example, SA's witness appears fairly lengthy - and I assume they also will continue to add witnesses from the 10% missing referenced above.

You know, I didn't think of that. Perhaps that is what this motion is all about. Thanks for pointing that out. Perhaps the defense did provide the witness list this week and the Sa discovered a new witness that they were not aware of.

This is the tit for tat that I do not believe the Judge is happy with. The defense holds out their witness list until the Sa comes full disclosure with discovery. I don't know if that is a typical strategy or normal or what. Perhaps a good question for one of the Lawyers.

Do they really expect the defense to give up a witness list until the Sa gives up all discovery? I do not know the answer to that. I do know that the defense has no intentions of giving up their strategy, nor are they required to.

I have thought about who would be on the witness list for the defense. Perhaps Hl , Dr Baden, Dc, JJ, various experts. Most of the witnesses are already on the States list, so the defense can use them in cross.

I am frustrated at the system. Both sides appear to be playing a tit for tat game over discovery and somebody's life hangs in the balance. I wish they would just get all the information on the table and lets move on to trial. Moo
