Okay, so maybe he hit her intentionally. Very possible. But the end result was she was taken to the hospital immediately. It was hardly a life threatening incident.
Exactly....

Ames,
JonBenet's head injury is classified as severe, and is rarely seen in children!
In both cases medical attention was required but only in the former was it sought.
I'm assuming there is no death penalty for accidental death in Colorado?
Now the wine-cellar crime-scene sure looks like a homicide, and for that I guess its life or the death penalty, why risk all that for an accident?
.
Why do you think that they decided to silence her on Christmas night, when they had a trip planned, and later a cruise? How do you think that she got the head wound? She could have been attacked because of the bed soiling incident, and later silenced to cover up her sexual abuse. Sort of like, killing two birds with one stone.....(excuse the expression).
Late at night and a few hours before they were to fly to Michigan? You call that perfect circumstances?Ames,
JonBenet was sexually assaulted on Christmas night because her killer decided the holiday period offered perfect circumstances, e.g. no school etc

She may have been initially asphyxiated then whacked on the head to ensure she was dead?
One thing to note is that her inital asphyxiation appears to be done from the front with her compressed abrasion marking on her lower neck, but her head injury appears to have been delivered from behind and above, suggesting JonBenet was lying face down. The force of her fracture goes beyond that of a fall, and is analogous to a high speed vehicle collision.
There is no evidence to suggest bedwetting or soiling was the initial factor in JonBenet's death, with all the care her killer(s) took to remove forensic evidence, they neglected her urine-soaked longjohns and feces-soiled pants lying on the floor in her bathroom, both evidence of a possible Toilet Rage incident.
I reckon JonBenet was being chronically sexually abused, and that both parents colluded in this, its this that was intended to be hidden by the staging.
Introducing an accidental death simply complicates an already complex homicide.

So Patsy and John are both sexually abusing JonBenet; yet Patsy brings JonBenet to the doctors 33 times in 3 years. I don't think so UK.
Yep, I agree...that it totally ridiculous.

UK, can we get serious about this please.

LOL...yeah, really. Patsy to John: "Dear, when do you think that we should molest and kill JonBenet? I was thinking maybe after New Years, what do you think?" John: "No, honey...that wouldn't be the best time, because ...you know, she would be in school and everything. Since she is out of school for Christmas break now, why don't we just do it now?" I am sorry, I don't mean to make light of such a serious subject....but, JB being sexually assaulted and killed on Christmas night, because she had no school...is the most ridiculous thing that I have read in a long time.

I don't blame you Ames - "And lets only kill JonBenet, after all we haven't been molesting Burke, so there is no need".
That does bring up an interesting question I have often wondered about. Would JonBenet still be alive today if she had been a boy?
It appears there were some rousing battles between Patsy and JonBenet and a little boy might have been able to be away with Burke and been allowed to be a little boy.

Maybe, maybe not. (I orginally put "sure she would"..but, changed my mind). They didn't try to make a living Barbie doll out of Burke...., dressing him up, putting makeup on him, putting him in pageants, having picture after picture taken....because he was a boy...BUT, I still believe that Patsy flew into an alcohol induced rage attack on JB, ...maybe Patsy had one too many cocktails at the White's christmas party (she admitted to drinking "a couple"....but, how big were the glasses? And was she telling the truth about how many she had?)...and flew into an alcohol induced rage attack on JB, because JB soiled her bed, OR she wanted to stay up and play with her toys...whatever the reason....I believe that Patsy flew rage attack, and didn't intend to harm JB. I believe the reason that she was a "handful" is because her parents made her that way. If she had of been a boy, AND had of been just as spoiled as she was (as a girl)...and the same scenario happened that night with her/him...I believe that its possible that she would still be dead. I do not think that Burke was as spoiled as JB was, though...and maybe because of this...if JB had of been a boy she WOULD still be alive today. It would have probably depended on how they would have treated her, IF she had of been a boy. I believe that they loved her...and that she wasn't being molested at home...because of all of the dr's visits. Would you take a child that you didn't love, that was being molested at home...to the dr. as many times as Patsy took JB? Or even at all??? This is why I believe that it they didn't "mean for this to happen".
There is not a doubt in my mind that she was hit in the head FIRST. I have a thread somewhere on this board...you would have to search for it....titled..."What It Feels Like To Be Strangled". As a young girl...I too was strangled. I don't feel like going into the details right now..you will have to find that thread if you want them. I am lucky, I survived....BUT...I can tell you that UNLESS JB's hands were tied while she was being strangled, she would have ripped her neck to shreds trying to remove the cord...because thats what I did...and its what anyone would do when they are fighting to breathe, and for their life. Pieces of her own flesh would have been found under her nails. I do not believe that her hands were tied as she was being strangled, because there would have been some "fight marks" on her wrists....burn marks from the rope or the rope against her shirt sleeve, where she was wiggling and trying to get free to try and loosen that cord that was cutting off her airway.
Well there is in mine, since I was not there I cannot share your certitude. There is not a doubt in my mind ...
