Random Thoughts and Discussion Ideas#6 About the Case

If not for Casey's behaviors after the "kidnapping" and I say that with a bit of sarcasm, she may have gotten away with the murder of Caylee. My examples are from first hand experience of being kidnapped and raped vs Casey's storyline from her script.

When I was kidnapped the man used duct tape to put over my eyes, nose and mouth. He then duct taped me to the bed and cut my clothes off with a 13" knife. I was able to see him for about 5 seconds when I walked through the door before he put the gun to my head and knife to my throat. I was able to give an accurate description of his height, weight, hair cut and color, scar on his face from acne, shoe size, waist size, eye color and no tattoo's and the fact that I thought he was an escaped Jail inmate since he was wearing my husbands clothes, which he was. My description was so accurate, the police questioned me more because they thought I knew him, which I didn't. Casey supposedly knew Zanny for 4-6 years depending on the interview and we heard of only a generic description from her and of course the A's perfect 10 recollection. In my opinion there is no Zanny. The duct tape over Caylee's face may have been staged to look like a stranger kidnapping, but with the No Clothes Party duct tape of AH that Casey "lost" I have no doubt in my mind it was used on the poor little girl by her mother. I can tell you that duct tape over the face is an indescribable experience that no person should ever have to suffer, especially a baby.

I too was told not to call the police by my kidnapper or he would kill me and I was Casey's age of 22 years old at the time. The first thing I did once I was free of the duct tape was run to my neighbors house naked, as he cut all the phone lines and took our phones, banged on the door to ask for a phone to call the police. There is no way I would have waited, even if I had a child at the time that he took with him, especially not 31 days to call the police, if he had my child after I called the police I too would be looking for my child but not entering a "hot body contest". I hope that most jurors will use common sense when the defense uses this as an excuse not to call the police.

When this happened to me, I thank god I didn't have children at the time but I did have a Lhasa Apso that was like my baby. This man shot him in the head after he finished raping me. It still bothers me 20 years later. How Casey could be shopping at Target, stealing money, partying and once caught and bonded out baking cookies, having sleep overs, going to her lawyers office when Caylee hadn't been found at the time is sickening. The man that did this to me stole over $1,000 cash and our car. He went on a 10 day crime spree too. Getting a tattoo was one of the things that he did before he was caught. I may be cynical since I sort of know how Caylee felt in her last moments, but I hope Casey gets LWOP. The DP is to easy. I know people are innocent until proven guilty but Casey's actions and circumstances point to no one else but her.

It seems that in today's world the victims of crime are the forgotten ones. The people that murder, rape and steal have their constitutional rights, while the victims are sidelined and hope for the best outcome. This perp especially has the best defense money can buy and all we can hope for is justice for Caylee! I am not one to complain and have always tried to get on with my life, there is always a piece of me missing that my experience with violence took away from me. I don't say this for a pity party but to let others know the toll that a violent crime can have on a person and there family. That is also why the A's foundation is such a scam in my eyes. There daughter has not even been to trial and they are starting a foundation? It took me over 5 years just to be able to talk to other people, let alone what I went through. Let me just say that I hope and pray we see Justice for Caylee!!

Sdavidson11, I am so sad that you had to have such an awful, horrible experience. However, I salute you for your bravery and desire to survive. You are the example of a true survivor that did everything possible to save yourself and make sure you had details to aid LE in catching the bast*rd.

Thank you for sharing your story and for sharing the insight into what any victim like baby Caylee experiences. :blowkiss:

ITA. It shows the strength of character that you have, Sdavidson. And it struck me that by IMMEDIATELY getting help from LE, you/Sdavidson were able to stop this beast. Which brings something to my mind..........A kidnapping "nanny" and her cohorts took Caylee. But, KC doesn't want to prevent this happening to another child? To semi-quote JB, 'it doesn't help her to tell LE what she knows'. Shouldn't KC and Co. and the As and their nifty foundation be concerned that LE catch the "real" killers so this doesn't happen to someone else's child? Lying and withholding don't really fit in the realm of preventing crimes against children. :waitasec:

Of course "zanny" had a key. And she slept in KCs bed.

KC simply has failed to mention to LE that she is the nanny named zanny which is uncanny. :floorlaugh:

BBM

My fanny!!! :crazy::crazy:

You have just revealed what it is like to go through a traumatic experience and the aftermath. I am most angry at anyone who says about KC, "everyone reacts differently." Yes, to a point, but unless you have ever been through a traumatic experience and/or traumatic death, you have no idea how far off the charts KC's reaction was to her daughter's disappearance/death. You do NOT/could NOT do what she did, which was party, party, party.

SDavidson, you are one brave soul and a survivor. Thank you so very much for sharing your experience with us.

That is a pretty damming statement to come from her own attorney. You are right, if there were a nanny out there who kidnapped her child how could that possibly not help her defense by revealing any and all information to LE. JB should have stuck with "no comment" or is he saving that for another time....like when KC files her appeal for insufficient counsel.

On one of KC's facebook pages she has a drawing of the name "Zanny". I could understand her putting something like "Tony" on there, but why Zanny. It is the type of drawing you would put up if you were playing with the name and since none of her real live friends names are on there.......points to more of no zanny nanny. JMO

Oh shades of Sybil are being to connected to KC now :waitasec: . Of course JB makes this statement. Just another of his famous "homer" moments.

LC, I will be totally gray by the time JB makes this statement "no comment :silenced: " and my grandkids will have kids of their own.

Exactly. She's playing with the name of her alter ego. Instead of it validating the existence of "Zanny", as she may have thought, it justs reveals that she is posting herself on the page.

Exactly, since everything on that facebook is about her. And isn't that the intention of the site, you put what you want on there, you're own personal signature.

I echo everyone's sentiments and thank you for sharing. In every family there is someone who has been a victim of a crime, or knows of a good friend or neighbor or relative who has been victimized and I am hoping what you said is correct, the good people of the jury will take their life experiences and common sense in that jury room. I have served on a jury a number of times and I can assure you that common sense won out every time. God bless you.

Random thoughts are invading my mind this A.M. For some reason, I am particularly bothered this morning by this exchange between KC and CA.

1) KC - "You don't know what my involvement is in stuff?"
CA - "KC!"
KC - "Mom!"
CA - "What?"
KC - "No!"
CA - "I don't know what your involvement is, sweetheart! You're not
telling me where she's at!"
KC - "Because I don't 🤬🤬🤬king know where she's at! Are you kidding me?"

This exchange has always bothered me somewhat, but the longer this goes, and the more information that is released, it bothers me more and more every time I listen to it. The tones and vocal inflections that each of them has is particularly bothersome. going back to the beginning is always refreshing for me and helps put things in perspective. With each new doc dump, I try to go back to certain things from the beginning and see how they look now with the new info. Listening to this first phone call from jail is even more disturbing now than it was originally. And, it was pretty bad the first time I heard it! But, now, it sends chills up my spine listening to the coldness in the voices of CA and KC. They seem to be oblivious to the fact that there is a small child missing. CA seems proud of her "cameos" and gets angry at KC and can be heard in the background saying to Lee that she isn't going to talk to KC if she is just going to yell at her like that! WHAT? Cuz CA's feelings are the most important thing at that moment in time! And as to KC, she really only cares about getting TonE's phone number so she can sit and talk with him! GMAB! This makes me wonder if, in the video where CA is crying and KC comes out smiling and asks why she is crying already, if CA is crying for Caylee or KC. I have always assumed that she was crying over the stress of the baby being missing and frustration that KC wasn't being honest, but now, I think she was just crying because her KC was still locked up. Which makes me wonder, how long has CA known about what really
happened to Caylee?

Don't try to over think it cause it will drive you to a bottle of wine real quick or this :banghead: :) I am glad you and others are going back and seeing these first interviews with the knowledge we know now. It's a great refresher if you can handled listening to it. I can't so I read the transcripts :).

This exchange was one of the beginning clues for me about what CA knew and didn't. And it told me that CA KNEW along with other actions CA/GA/LA have committed since July 16, 08. I wrote a post about it over in the smoking gun theory #264. It is long so I didn't link it here.

As for CA's crying. A front for the camera, she was crying for herself, that the image she built from lies was beginning to crack.

Agree! I'm just getting some weird vibes lately about all of this! I mean, who else has ever started a foundation so quickly? And usually, the family is so distraught and asking for any and all help, but not in this case. I think there actually was a "script" and the entire A clan has been trying to follow it through from day 31! It makes me a little queasy to have the thoughts that are popping in my head so I go back and read and listen to the first things that happened. Problem is, this is only making me feel that these awful things I am thinking may very well be true instead of dispelling them!

BBM That statement right there nails her. What involvement? She is admitting she is involved. And when CA says to her "KC!". It seems less like shock and more like *Shut up! Don't say anything.* I agree with you, that phone call seems even more telling and creepy now than when I heard it for the first time nearly a year ago. I periodically go back and listen and read the transcripts as I'm listening. It's from their spoken words that I glean the most.

Don't feel alone. The only reason why I have followed this case is I want Caylee to get the justice she so richly deserves. I hated reading the AR, but I did it because of Caylee spoke through it.

Don't get me started on the foundation :furious: :banghead: . I have stayed away from putting my :twocents: in that bucket of carp.

snipped for space BBM The other thing that bothers me about this BBM statement, is the way CA says it. Who wouldn't rip their daughter a new one and demand right NOW to explain where Caylee is at, where KC was for a month and tell her that unless she told the truth right NOW, she was on her own? It seems to me a very muted reaction for someone desperate to find their missing 2 year old granddaughter. The lack of a more frantic, angry exchange here w/ KC is very telling, IMO.

The words AND the way that they are spoken! I had more concern, fear, and anxiety in my voice the last time my cat got out of the house than these people do over a supposed missing child! GMAB!

ITA! CA should be threatening to wring KC's neck, but instead she is calling her sweetheart and molly-coddling her! Makes me ill! :furious:
