Too bad their families can't get them committed for evaluation. There is something so very sad about this. I am convinced they are on serious drugs or both seriously mentally ill.

I agree. Here's an article from the latest issue of Vanity Fair. I wish somehow they could be physically separated from eachother and get some help. I also can't decide if it's drugs, mental illness, or both.
