Really? It wasn't an actual shoe print? Just the logo from the bottom of the the shoe? Hmmmm....makes me wonder how it was determined to be a Size 9?:waitasec:

I don't know that it ever was determined to be size 9. Do you have a link for this?

I can see a heel outline. This would allow them to measure the distance from logo to back of heel to come up with a size.

In three years of reading online, I have never before read of a shoe size being determined.

However, lots of online speculation about BR's shoe size,

The prints of the Hi-Tech boots DID NOT belong to Burke. ... A boy of 9's shoes would probably be about 3 1/2 - 4. Far different from a full grown men's size boots. ...

I have a 10-year old nephew who wears a man's size 11 shoe. A 9-year old boy CAN absolutely wear an adult-size shoe. Men's smaller sizes, especially. BR seemed to be a slightly-built boy, but he could certainly have worn an adult size at that age.

My brother was 5'7" at 9 1/2. He is 6'1" and I am 5'1". He wore a mens size 8 when he was 9. So I agree Dee Dee.
