Ransom Note and Common Sense

Really? It wasn't an actual shoe print? Just the logo from the bottom of the the shoe? Hmmmm....makes me wonder how it was determined to be a Size 9?:waitasec:

I don't know that it ever was determined to be size 9. Do you have a link for this?

I can see a heel outline. This would allow them to measure the distance from logo to back of heel to come up with a size.

Hey DeeDee.

In three years of reading online, I have never before read of a shoe size being determined.

However, lots of online speculation about BR's shoe size,

The prints of the Hi-Tech boots DID NOT belong to Burke. ... A boy of 9's shoes would probably be about 3 1/2 - 4. Far different from a full grown men's size boots. ...

I have a 10-year old nephew who wears a man's size 11 shoe. A 9-year old boy CAN absolutely wear an adult-size shoe. Men's smaller sizes, especially. BR seemed to be a slightly-built boy, but he could certainly have worn an adult size at that age.

My brother was 5'7" at 9 1/2. He is 6'1" and I am 5'1". He wore a mens size 8 when he was 9. So I agree Dee Dee.
