Ok, I'm thinking I am just taking this too seriously and maybe I should just go get the popcorn.
Please don't forget the brewskis :toast: with that

No I would say that if its jealousy and anger they are talking about JS exwife. When a criminal defense attorney is at the mansion and they say they are not representing JS but someone associated with the house hmmm I'm thinking it might be the exwife IMO
Thus, hang her off the deck outside. Sorry to be indelicate, but much easier cleanup. Hanging also leaves much less mess than whacking somebody over the head, stabbing, or shooting them.
But that yard is pretty pristine looking still, if you can get past the fact that not long ago, a corpse was on the lawn.
A truly unfeeling person really wouldn't care. Or one who had just had his son effectively die in that same home. Home is already "tainted" sadly.
Not that I'm suggesting he had anything to do with this.

Good call. I believe it is. It just gives this spectacle another demented wrinkle (pardon the pun).

One also mentioned a permanent limp the woman attributed to an accident that she didn't explain.

Sooooo,
Something else to ponder.
Was Rebecca physically OK to perform the contortions in hanging herself.
Did she have a permanent leg injury, resulting in a limp ????
IMO
Would it be unfathomable to think perhaps Dina is afraid of the dog - given prior history - "Rebecca I need to talk to you and you need to tell me what happened to Max..I want to hear it from your mouth..but could you make sure the dog is not around?"... just some free thought. If it were my child that was hurt I would want to know exactly what happened from the horse's mouth - not from the police - not from the news media - not from anyone but the person in charge of taking care of my child.
I just cannot get over the feeling of a mother having lost a child and the grief that must come with that. I don't think there can be anything greater than that.."tell me exactly what happened to my son!" I just seems like a logical thing. She then goes to the house which she knows well by the way -- since it was HER house at one point (the house was purchased in 2007) -- to "talk" to get answers...emotions are all time high...anger...agony really. Just some random thought...
duh, sorry about the confusion. i am reading that article wrong. and i am frustrated over ws locking up and i can't navigate around the set to re read and double check. i am going to just lurk for awhile......gah!!!!!
Photo from the stills does look like a rectangular table top perhaps. I was trying to figure that one out as well.
But the round table with one leg broken off, which matches what was below the balcony, is seen departing the scene in at least one of the videos at CBS8.

Did the police say she was not found hogtied, not hogtied, or was never hogtied?Maybe they found her NOT hogtied...but maybe the autopsy will prove at one point she was...is my point. Hard to tell with how they mince words, imo. In my unexpert opinon
, she does look to me like at one point she had her knees seperated...she is lying on her side, YET her knees seem to be somehow be held APART....from rigor?
Please don't forget the brewskis :toast: with thatopcorn:
I don't want to be all gross, but don't you lose all bladder/bowel control when you hang yourself and/or die? I read that somewhere - but could be wrong.
Just curious -- not that it's relevant.

Another scenario:
Rebecca was devastated and ashamed. Even though you cannot control sometimes what children do and could have been a total accident -- she was still remorsed that it happend when she was supposed to be taking care of him. This completely changed her life forever and now her life will never be the same...surely Jonah couldn't marry her now. What update was she going to give her parents the next day? He's still brain dead? There was no update...the child was unresponsive. He was not going to come back out of this...I'm sure she knew this already. Maybe she did kill herself out of shame and feeling this was her fault (even if it was not). No matter what her life would be changed forever.

Still, leaving no note under such circumstances served to cause and inflict further pain on the boy's father and her own love interest. To do so would imply a kind of vengeance motive; or she was just too whacked out to think being her own misery and ending it. A note of remorse would have been in order though. For everybody's sake, not the least her own family's peace of mind in a lamentable situation. Instead, this cloud of doubt (and, a rip-roaring good mystery of course.....)

To me those who are contemplating suicide do not take into consideration their loved ones. Most commit suicides where they know it will be family members or loved ones that will find them whether they grotesquely hang themselves or blow their heads off with a shotgun.
They never think through the terrible horror they will inflict on the ones that loved them for the rest of their lives. They simply are on their own mission and are determined to carry it out the way they have designed whether it hurts their loved ones or not.
Most do not leave suicide notes.

It could simply be a play on words - she was not hogtied when they found her. The bending of the knees that we see in the pics and the statements of her being in rigor do not coincide with her hanging and the knees bent.
Now, in that article it states that when the first responders got there they found a woman in "distress" and provided medical aid. The helicopter pic we see of her laying there does not coincide with medical aid being rendered at all (she is on her side with ropes, scarf, etc still attached).
The conflicting statements are coming fast and furious. I go by what I actually see in those chopper pics. And those pics certainly do not show where any first responder provided aid to that body.

In case this hasn't been posted, here is a comment listed under a Wall Street Journal article about the case, from a rather embittered former biz associate. Take it fwiw:

For many years I was the main consultant to Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation run by Jonah Shacknai. I popularized their injectable filler Restylane for wrinkle and lip augmentation by giving courses throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Simultaneously Jonah used unlicensed foreign doctors and sponsored courses and their educational seminars. At many of the courses these individuals would treat patients. The main example of this was Drs. Jean and Alastair Carruthers of Vancouver who created and distributed a CD of my work and injection techniques through Johns Hopkins! Furthermore, Jean published a paper describing my technique in which she positioned herself as the senior author. in whichdecided she would be the senior author on a lip injection paper. Subsequently,I did a lip study for Medicis and then spent over 40 hours writing this pivitol paper on lip enhancement with Restylane. The paper had to be accurate and not like the ghastly ghost written “data” that floods the medical literature. I also warned Medicis not to present this data to the FDA in that it contained my personal injection techniques. I would expect that it is very unusual for someone else to present the data. Contrary to my agreement with Medicis they never published the paper I wrote on lip augmentation and they presented my data to the FDA to expand the lip study to multiple sites. With this expanded lip data Medicis gained FDA approval for lip augmentation. As the money kept rolling in Jonah’s houses kept getting larger and larger with Jonah himself developing extreme arrogance totally losing contact with reality and developed a tremendous overestimation of his capabilities, especially in regard to his power. Needless to say though I had a signed agreement with Medicis for my initial study on lips and the paper for $280,000 this did not include the expanded studies and the work that would lead to FDA approval in which they promised participation. But Jonah never paid me and ceased to talk to me but as his wealth increased so did his satyriasis --- his excessive, often uncontrollable sexual desire. Maybe this was his desire to remain forever young. But this illness may very well account for what happened at the Spreckles mansion as it did for the action at Dupont Estate in Deleware.

I guess. But if she felt wracked with remorse toward Jonah, this was just piling on. She must have been way way out of sorts in this scenario, in a kind of hysterical shame spiral for it not to even occur to her that she was about to turn his world upside down yet again with the specifics of her rather involved suicide. Maybe there was a note or something. Then again, it could be a forged note......
