Oh, see that this is already posted.

Going with this theory leads us right back to an in-depth staging this time.....
This case isn't cut and dry as one would expect.

Inobu

Indeed, either (1) an impromptu crime born of reckless seething rage or (2) an eerily orchestrated message murder with so much staging as to utterly confuse the crime scene..or force JS to reveal information to LE about his business dealngs and potential enemies that he'd rather not?

Perhaps JS called AS to come out because he was FRIGHTENED, though I would think if that were so he'd have hired extra security for the house. That said, JS seems something of a tightwad.

Rebecca:

Rebecca M. Nalepa 9525331 4 513571 54 her path of destiny = 54 = Inquiry. Things are not as they appear. Anybody’s guess.
Rebecca M. Nalepa RMN 45

11 = Consequences. Need for justice
.
Rebecca Zahau 9525331 81813 49 her path of destiny = 49 = Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
And....
Rebecca Nalepa 9 1 1 the most important thing she cannot do and how she lost her heart’s desire both = RA = 91 = Being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jonah:

Who would most find satisfaction in destroying RN.

Or who would find the most satisfaction in destroying JS? RZ just seems like a victim of her relationship with JS, a target based solely on the latter, a pawn.

I see we were all reading and posting some of the same stuff at the same time, lol...I was copying and pasting, took longer than I thought, lol.

Yeah...that's been up for awhile...but, slow news day, and all...;) Hope he does Dinas...anyone see Dinas?

I think I'm going to take some time and do my numbers...this stuff is shockingly on point, imo. BBL...

Inobu, I have appreciated your insightful posts. This one of yours is also thought-provoking. If "nothing was thought-out in this crime," then perhaps EVERYTHING was? Absolutes IMO tend to be interchangeable, same as beginnings and endings.

A few random observations to share for discussion and feedback...

- CafePharma.com community threads suggest sexual harrassment of female employees has been rampant at Medicis for years. Could JS have had another relationship ongoing aside from RZ? Or a previous relationship other than his wife that ended badly and led to jealousy toward RZ?

- In portrait photos of JS and RZ with purple background, RZ prominently displays her right hand with ring on wedding ring finger. News reports ID these photos as shot in December 2010. Was the aborted Tuesday party to announce a wedding date?

- Starting in 2007 or 2008, Medicis has (as have many other BP companies) been busy attending to its tarnished image as an illegal promoter (to its financial benefit) of the off-label use of certain drugs. Image laundering tactics have included a relationship with Ethisphere.com, another PR machine.

- MS at hospital at the very least provided opportunity. Were MS and RN BOTH supposed to die the same day but the dog, or something else, intervened?

- A "blue scarf" reportedly a hate crime symbol in Burma neighbor Cambodia. Does this have any relation to the blue object on RZ? Red herring?
http://www.genocidewatch.org/aboutgenocide/8stagesofgenocide.html

- Is the blue object on RZ the blue jacket she wore to go ziplining, as shown in two of the photos in the memorial tribute created by her family? http://www.meierhoffer.com/obituaries/rebecca-m-zahau-2/

- RZ memorial tribute includes no photos of RZ with NN or JS.

- Are RZ's parents still alive? If not, what happened to them? If so, where are they? Were RZ and her sisters orphaned?

- RZ's sister Mary Zahau-Loehner, who has been quite succinct about her POV that RZ did NOT commit suicide, is married to LE... Her husband, Doug Loehner, is a decorated policeman http://www.stjoepd.info/awards.cfm

- In some of the aerial photos of RZ in crime scene, two of the table legs are aligned with the walkway and abut the grass; in others, they're on the bricks, several inches back.

- What is that ongoing feud about between Dr. Arnold Klein and JS?

- Did DS scramble to get licensed post death of her son to legitimize herself? Did she show up for her exam on August 1? http://www.psychboard.az.gov/PDF/agmn/ag46.pdf

- Given RZ body reportedly exposed to the phones and cameras of public and news agencies for at least six hours, how is it that no graphic, unretouched photos or videos of crime scene have appeared on the net?

- What is Google's policy on crime investigations? Does it censor?

- Is Shacknai, a Democrat, being targeted by Big Pharma, as example not to cross its interests in the coinciding with the current debt debate in which billions in future BP profits are at stake?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/08/big-pharma-asked-to-pony-_n_893477.html

- Did someone's child or children die, attributed as a direct or indirect result of a failed Shacknai drug company study? "In the most extensive test so far of its capability to treat autism, the controversial drug secretin has failed to help children with the neurological disorder. On Jan. 5, Repligen of Waltham, Mass., the biotech company seeking to develop secretin for use against autism, announced the disappointing results of its latest trial, which involved 132 children. A protein that occurs naturally in the gut, secretin gained notice as a potential autism cure in 1998, when news media reported a ease in which the substance seemingly cured an autistic boy. Neuroscientists were pleasantly surprised when they later discovered in rodent studies that nerve cells in brain regions implicated in autism respond to secretin, a finding that offered a biological rationale for a gut protein influencing autism (SN: 11/17/01, p. 314). Although Repligen didn't rule out further tests of secretin for some people with autism, the company said it also plans to investigate the protein as a treatment for schizophrenia. Source Citation "Drug fails in autism study." Science News 31 Jan. 2004.

- Was MS autistic? Did he need more than ordinary supervision?

- JS appears to have had botox injections in his forehead, restylane injections in his naso-labial folds, a chin implant to square off his jaw, and cheek implants further eliminate facial wrinkles.

- Where does JS stand in the BP world recently probed by Al Jazeera and Marcia Angell in her NYRB series on the off-label use of drugs?

And does anyone know of a good timeline app or program?

Thank you for the well thought out post. While I won't comment on every point, I want to include it in full and want to add some, possibly disjointed, coments!

What is Google's policy on crime investigations? Does it censor?

I've wondered about this because of another case I followed. Initially, there were a few more stories listed in Google, but then one particular news source disappeared (this was like within a day or two). I had to really hunt to find it. Also, I found the only quote that appeared enlarged from Google was from the victim's husband who is also high profile. I have no idea if this is bowing to pressure like a PR firm, random, policy about victims, or what. I'd expect those quotes would be random and would change form day to day?

Google does also try to alter what results you get based on what you have looked at - I don't think that alters full coverage on a specific issue though and it may only be connected based on browser cookies - I dump my cookies every time I close my browser and have a software program to rid my computer of super cookies. If you are signed into Google, I think it also tries to tailor results.

Per Big Pharma... I think Medicis could be involved in R&D of products we might not think like the links I posted before on some Opiate blocker. Who knows what they are developing and producing.

Furthermore, I don't know if the Doctor (his name escapes me) can be believed or not but in a comment on a recent article he claimed Medicis hired unlicensed doctors (from Canada?) - anyone have that link again?

This is from 2009 and it appears, unlike ES's celebration, Rebecca was not officially at GS's:

G.S. will become a batmitzvah on December 5, 2009 at 8:45 am. Celebrating with G. will be her parents Kimberly and Ian James of Paradise Valley and Jonah Shacknai of Paradise Valley. Her grandparents are Marcelle and Gideon Shacknaiof Suffern, NY, Barbara and Ronald Alsobrookof Warren, MI and Angela and Reginald James of Surrey, England. For G’s mitzvah project she did a clothing drive for the Sojourner Center

the original page appears to be removed...I pulled up a HTML cached copy.....

The link doesn't seem to work anymore, I believe what it was was they were using doctors from Canada and Europe who were licensed in their respective countries but were not licensed to practice in the US.

Okay...I found an article, June 2010, mentioning Dr. Klein, again, but in opposition to Allergan, a different company, the maker of Botox, the competitor of the filler Restalyne, Jonahs product...seems Arnies on a "one man crusade" pointing out the dangers of these treatments, so, Jonahs not the only company he's mentioned....and it seems Allergan is under a DOJ investigation or was....here's a comment left at the bottom and Dr. Arnold Klein is mentioned in the main piece...

RE: Vultures Circling Botox Maker Accused of Hiding Deaths From FDA

The chief aesthetic Czar of Allergan was and may still be
Alastair Carruthers. He taught, injected, and practiced medicine
throughout the USA. Furthermore, he and his wife assumed
leadership roles at every aesthetic company. The only thing is
he was a foreign national without a green card or medical
license in any state. To practice medicine without a license in
any state is a criminal act.
Despite speaking to the US Justice
Department as well as the Attorney General of California and
the INS nothing was ever done.
These individuals published
dangerously altered medical data which i revealed to Allergan.
I was rewarded by being fired as a consultant.

No mention of Jonahs company that I can see...this gives Kleins last comment we saw regarding Jonah and his 'ways', let's say, posted somewhere here, more weight, in my mind...this issue seems to be something Dr. Klein has been addressing for awhile....IMO.

Not responding in particular to you, defense, just sayin' :)

Many links don't work anymore, I've found...I use the cached page or HTML option, if available, during the google search...more luck that way, I've found.

Yep! Sorry, I didn't follow the cases others did on him. I'm not saying everything is true, just worth looking into.

For many years I was the main consultant to Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation run by Jonah Shacknai . I popularized their injectable filler Restylane for wrinkle and lip augmentation by giving courses throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Simultaneously Jonah used unlicensed foreign doctors and sponsored courses and their educational seminars. At many of the courses these individuals would treat patients. The main example of this was Drs. Jean and Alastair Carruthers of Vancouver who created and distributed a CD of my work and injection techniques through Johns Hopkins! Furthermore, Jean published a paper describing my technique in which she positioned herself as the senior author. in whichdecided she would be the senior author on a lip injection paper. Subsequently,I did a lip study for Medicis and then spent over 40 hours writing this pivitol paper on lip enhancement with Restylane. The paper had to be accurate and not like the ghastly ghost written “data” that floods the medical literature. I also warned Medicis not to present this data to the FDA in that it contained my personal injection techniques. I would expect that it is very unusual for someone else to present the data. Contrary to my agreement with Medicis they never published the paper I wrote on lip augmentation and they presented my data to the FDA to expand the lip study to multiple sites. With this expanded lip data Medicis gained FDA approval for lip augmentation. As the money kept rolling in Jonah’s houses kept getting larger and larger with Jonah himself developing extreme arrogance totally losing contact with reality and developed a tremendous overestimation of his capabilities, especially in regard to his power. Needless to say though I had a signed agreement with Medicis for my initial study on lips and the paper for $280,000 this did not include the expanded studies and the work that would lead to FDA approval in which they promised participation. But Jonah never paid me and ceased to talk to me but as his wealth increased so did his satyriasis --- his excessive, often uncontrollable sexual desire. Maybe this was his desire to remain forever young. But this illness may very well account for what happened at the Spreckles mansion as it did for the action at Dupont Estate in Deleware.

Man, not sure if any of this has anything to do with Rebeccas death but it seems things were alot 'hotter' a couple years back in the competition for business, dated May, 2009...read this...

Allergan’s Q1 Nightmare: Profit Down; Black Box Warning on Botox Vindicates an Old Nemesis; “It’s All Medicis’ Fault!”

It’s Allergan’s worst week ever: Q1 2009 net income was down 58 percent on declining Botox sales; and then the FDA gave Botox a black-box warning AND approved Medicis‘ competing wrinkle-killing drug, Dysport.

Allergan’s response? To blame it all on Medicis in a tangled set of statements that seem designed to suggest that everything in the category was just fine until Dysport came along with its scary non-”interchangeable” botulinum toxin.

Worst of all, the FDA actions vindicate the allegations of Allergan’s greatest nemesis — Dr. Arnold Klein of Los Angeles (pictured). Klein was once a consultant for Allergan but fell out with the company and went to consult for — you guessed it — Medicis. (He currently works for neither.) For the last few years he has been on a one-man crusade against Allergan, alleging the very same dangers that the FDA cited in its release today.

I correct myself, Dysport is the Botox competitor...not the filler Restalyne...

Medicis, on the other hand, is conducting a genius PR game here — by remaining almost completely silent and letting Allergan, with the big-name botulinum brand, take all the media hits. All it did was announce its product was approved. Notice in the Medicis release that the company doesn’t mention the boxed warning until the last sentence of the fourth paragraph. The ploy worked — BNET failed to notice that warning even though we wrote about the approval yesterday. Well played, Mr. Shacknai.

Now, imo, THIS would have been a better time for a Big Pharma battle, dated in May, 2009:

Allergan Could Lose a Third of Botox Market With FDA’s Approval of Medicis’ Dysport

http://www.bnet.com/blog/drug-busin...et-with-fdas-approval-of-medicis-dysport/1342

April, 2009:

Medicis Doubled Pay of Exec Convicted of Off-Label Sales

Medicis more than doubled the pay of its sales chief in 2008 even though that executive, Richard Havens, pled guilty to conspiracy to violate the Food and Drug Act last March. Havens, the former evp of sales, and three of his underlings pleaded guilty right before his April retirement to promoting an off-label use of Loprox, a skin infection treatment. They had promoted it for diaper rash even though it was not approved for children

In Medicis’ proxy statement, CEO Jonah Shacknai saw his total compensation fall in 2008 from $4.6 million to $4.1 million. The other top managers at Medicis saw their total compensation stay roughly flat.
The only standout was Havens, whose packet increased from $1.5 million to $3.9 million. That included a $430-per-hour consultancy deal.

Hmmm, well, interesting. The Carruthers clam to have discovered Botox but due to bad lawyer advice never patented it.

But the Carruthers never got to cash in on their discovery. Sure, they became consultants and investigators for Allergan (AGN), the $18 billion market cap company that eventually launched the Botox Cosmetic product, and they bought stock in the company, which already owned the formula for medical treatment, but the pioneering doctors never patented their own discovery.
http://www.minyanville.com/special-...tent-neurotoxicity-anti-age/7/6/2010/id/28853

However?

After their initial discovery, the Vancouver doctors began recruiting volunteers. Finding few women willing to step forward, Jean began injecting herself with Botox and documenting the results. In 1991, when the Carruthers presented their findings at the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, they were told the idea was simply "crazy."

Nevertheless, they kept up clinical trials and published their results, doggedly searching for validation. Eventually other doctors started to catch on. Along the way, the Carruthers learned that Alan Scott, the San Francisco doctor who first started using Botox for medical purposes, had also tested the formulation for cosmetic use two years before the Carruthers made it their mission to pursue the cause. "[He] told us that he had used it cosmetically in 1985 in conjunction with the plastic surgeon, realized that it worked, and promptly lost interest so that nothing further came of this," says Alastair.

In the late '80s, a group of researchers from Columbia University in New York recognized that there was cosmetic potential in Botox, he adds, but "they did not proceed until after the publication of our work in the early '90s. It was not until 1993 that there were a significant number of people who were using Botox Cosmetic in New York and Los Angeles."

And now Botox faces fresh competition from Dysport, another purified form of the toxin made by Medicis (MRX).

and at the bottom of that last link:

Side note: You can tell Medicis is different from other pharma companies. When most firms put families or goggled scientists on the cover of their annual report, Medicis has a hot naked chick. The company makes prescription beauty treatments, so why hide it? As you can see, they had a disconcertingly perfect looking model on the cover of the 2007 report as well, but this year they’ve turned up the heat with extra nudity.

Or who would find the most satisfaction in destroying JS? RZ just seems like a victim of her relationship with JS, a target based solely on the latter, a pawn.

Just assuming for the moment that JS is innocent, I wonder what he thinks happened: suicide or foul play. For whatever reason, he has seen fit not to make any kind of public statement of affection for RZ, outrage over the crazy and demented elements of her demise, urgency about a possible ritualistic execution of her happening right on his property, or mere sorrow over her suiciding herself (obviously in this case, over guilt re: the son). Making some kind of public yet personal acknowledgement toward his 3 year mate on his part would not out of hand compromise an ongoing investigation. That he has said nothing whatsoever - not even mentioning her name, comes across as an odd indifference or nonchalance even. The only oblique reference has been about the "tragic undertakings" he's been going through (kind of like, "oh poor Me"), yet not even a shout out like, "my heart aches for my love Rebecca and I will not rest until I find the cause of her passing." Would that compromise an investigation? I guess, if he actually had no feelings for her. Wonder what he might have said at her funeral?

I admit, I am not good with money and taxes...other than spending and paying. ;) But this is interesting to me...considering the timing of divorces and such, I wonder if this 'amendment' might be close in time to any divorce settlement and would it then cause the numbers to appear differently when assessing child support or spousal? It may not have affected the co's bottom line but did it affect support/settlement, or was it done, to hide money? I don't get it...anyone else?
