Remembering Hailey

I have not seen ANYTHING that says they did or did not stay at Connies house the whole visit. Which I find completely interesting.

It was like them leaving the same day Hailey disapears is skirted and skimmed over even though they could have said on either blog radio appearance where they stayed and someone could have asked .
Why has this issue never been asked or addressed?

I just always felt they were hoping that this was common knowledge they left town that day and hope the issue Hailey is also missing the same day is not noticed?

Wouldnt you think they would feel it important to let people know that they did or didnt stay in any hotel? 6 were searched ..

You may be right... I assumed...since Connie said she couldn't go to CC until they had they left...I was thinking until they left her house. I had always thought it hinky that Gma was in the vicinity at the same time HD went missing, but never thought about the hotel angle.

I'm not even sure that finding Hailey would result in charges at this point. I am doubtful that LE has anything other than suspicions and some lies from B&S. It would still be difficult to prove that Hailey did not leave on her own and encounter a killer, or was taken by someone from outside the home. This is one case that I fear will never be successfully prosecuted...JMO

Sadly, I agree.... Hailey deserves better.

I can't get thru this holiday season without thinking of Hailey every single day. My thoughts constantly replay what we know to be Hailey's last day. I can only hope that it eats away at those that played a hand in that!

I think that is very telling that her young adult son is not there with her at the vigil. I cannot imagine any reason that our son would not attend a vigil for his missing little sister with us,--- unless he thought we were involved, perhaps.

Just can't quit thinking about you Hailey. Christmas will never be the same. I have replayed her last day in my head a million times. I wonder if her killer & her clean up guy drank themselves silly yesterday in hopes of forgetting what they've done. Actually, I'm convinced they don't care enough to feel anything but glad that they have gotten away w/it.. so far. I'm still awaiting the day that shawn atkins gets good sick and tired of billie jean dunn. I'd like nothing more than some loud drunken public brawl for them. Maybe they'll scream something useful with in earshot of someone who cares where Hailey can be found. One can hope...

Thinking about Hailey tonight.

I still think she met a fate similar to Tammy Homolka. IMO, the pieces fit.

The perps may be bound by their common past acts for the time being, but if the relationship is to continue, IMO, it will have to happen again. The Master/slave relationship is defined by the give and accept, in ever-increasing depth and quantity. A Master who is worth His salt always expects more and greater things of His girl. If He doesn't, He is not much of a Master.

What comes after Hailey? I think we can look at what came after Tammy to find the answer.

IMO, it'll happen again, or the relationship will break down due to an ineffective Master. In either case, the odds of finding Hailey will go up. I don't think Hailey's case will remain unsolved forever. It's just a matter of the order in which the cards will be played.

I'd sure hate to be one of them -- waiting for one of us to make the ultimate mistake that makes it all unravel, or for the other one to roll over on me. I think I'd rather take my chances, like Karla Homolka did. But, that's just me.

I've always thought it was like the Homolka case too. These two culprits will not be together forever but for now, I think they need to be. Staying together means they will never tell on each other and it's close monitoring. However, that will someday end.

In the meantime, I had long ago thought this case would be solved and it saddens me that it's been one year. I think of Hailey often....she didn't deserve this.

Colorado City Police Chief Roy "Tinker" Owens, who joined the department in July and has been working to get up to speed on the case, is similarly confident.

"Eventually something is going to break. We firmly believe that at some point in the future, we will have some closure," he said.

He also believes police haven't been given all the help they can from Hailey's family.

"It's my opinion that, whether or not she was involved in Hailey's disappearance, Billie knows something, and she's not saying," he said.

If you look at the known facts of the case, and the actions of the Shawn and Billie, what are we left to believe happened to Hailey? The child did not disappear into thin air.

I wish they would find her now. IMO... BD relocated after being advised to do so. Actually, I think the family members they are referring to not being forthcoming... Daddy-O and his kin. Look back at everything that pertains to him... it all seems to point at him knowing something. What ever happened with the uncle... Brian Glasco that BD had pointed out that the LE was looking for him but, had not been able to locate him. Hopefully, she did run off with a boyfriend like I have always thought and is living the good life away from all the drugs and scandal.

15 months and counting and still nothing of HD's whereabouts.

MOO is it's long past time for BD to "put the big girl panties" on and tell LE what they need to know. No more self-preservation tactics. It's time for her to tell her sordid or not so sordid past. It's time for her to act. Jail time??? I don't know but it doesn't help for her to be passive at this point in time.

I've had several days to go back and refresh memory after the body was recently found in Big Spring.

Dang, what is she waiting for? An accessory after the fact charge? Doesn't bode well.

I am glad she is being honoured, so sad she is still missing and most likely never saw her 14th let alone 15 and onwards ... so wrong.
