It's taken 7 years and multiple stories/lies/rabbit holes to have Jodi finally
1) admit she did the murder
2) admit she lied and tried to cover her tracks
3) state she has some remorse

(ie: Ninja's, fog, self defense, finally admitted to myself)

#JodiArias: I wish I could reverse what I did and could take away all what these people are feeling that I have hurt, including Travis.

That's why she's spent two years trashing Travis and putting his family through hell. Seems to me this sort of thing will really resonate with the jury (in a bad way for her that is).

Why she sent TA's grandma flowers...
#JodiArias: I see now how insensitive that was but at the time, I felt if I did nothing it'd be worse

---
Keep talking idiot. It wasn't insensitive. You killed her grandson. It was a SICK thing to do.

One thing I will take comfort in, is if she really didn't get to the heart of the BIG lies they had schemed up for her to say. That is a win, IMO, and takes away the sting of Juan not being able to cross examine her, and her not being able to get to the BIG lies (the ones they really NEEDED the jury to hear). Win-win, IMOO.

If she is admitting that she premeditated it, how can that make it sound like 2nd degree?

She might admit to "sneaking into AZ" but not for the purpose of murdering TA. She was sneaking so her new love interest and his new love interest didn't find out she went to see him doncha know? And he knew she was coming but asked her to keep it stealth. So she did.

JM should be able to play her original testimony. All of it. He will not be able to though because the DT is going to strike this testimony. As someone else said, it won't be stricken from the minds of the jurors and she has "humanized" herself and shown remorse this time around. Even if she doesn't mean a word of it.

That's what Nurmi hopes the jury will think.

I'm not seeing anything bombshell in her admitting to covering her tracks. She already admitted she did this because she was afraid of being arrested and she couldn't admit to herself what happened. She was ashamed of herself and didn't want anyone to know so she covered her tracks.

So nothing new there.

The first 14 pages of the 10/30 #JodiArias secret testimony is her expressing "remorse".... the rest is mostly childhood backstory

Apparently Travis was a comedian. #JodiArias talks about offensive skits he performed "SNL style".

Everyone who came forward to talk about Travis commented on how much they loved that persona he put on at the conventions. To her, it was "offensive". GMAB

"I think of what those lies put people through.... there are a lot of things I wish I could do over again, that is one of them." #JodiArias

Um. Not, 'I wish I could have a do over on killing Travis, and not kill him', but 'I wish I wouldn't have lied'.

This bish. I swear.

On why she left TA voicemail after murder...
#JodiArias: I knew I had done something bad & that call was the beginning of covering my tracks

--
I'm clairvoyant. :p

She's trying to have it both ways - trying to claim she didn't premeditate it when we know she did. But there's no explanation for the gas cans other than premeditation.

Her mind is without a doubt one of the most fascinating places EVER! So far it looks like she didn't want the world to see her do what she should have done years ago, SHOW REMORSE. Wow, just wow

On #JodiArias transcripts: Media is contacting ct reporters directly for copies. Ct Reporters not planning to file with Clerk for now
----

I wish I knew what he meant by that last bit.

I am just guessing but I think the Court "Reporters" are the ones that transcribe the testimony and they are the ones charging for the copies of the pages (ie: $400) but they do not plan on turning over a copy to the Court "Clerk" who usually has all the copies of court transactions as they have stamped and filed them. I think the Court Reporters are making a little money on this (and it has been reported the copies are even more expensive for "expedited" fees - up to $1000).

But Frigga, however will she be able to actualize her mitigation now?

-----"Remorse" -- she has none -- this is all BS and I hope Juan can let this jury know that she is FOS :gaah:

Probably because once the Clerk has the transcripts, noone will need to buy them.

It's a little unfortunate she gets a do-over to a new jury. A chance to correct everything she messed up on the first time around.

I'm prepared for there not to be much in them with regards to what she was going to say. I don't think she had a lot of time and we know how notoriously slow the DT is at extracting information. Plus I'm sure there must have been objections and sidebars galore. She may have just gotten to the 12-14yr old "fog", which explains why Dr F was insinuating things but not outright saying them as information that JA told her IMO.

MOO

I'm not that excited about them, because to me, it's not the what she said but how she said it and appeared that is lost until after the trial. Her demeanor is what is important about her tesiphony.
