Has it occurred to anyone that JSS might be personally anti death penalty? She just seems to be making these decisions almost personally. Like, holding off on releasing these transcripts as if anticipating and knowing Nurmi is going to pull something to prevent it. That's not a normal unemotional judicial response to a higher courts ruling. It's like she's willing to commit career suicide in order to prevent a desth sentence on her watch.

When I say Nurmi prevent it , which how can that be now that TWO higher courts have said he can't, but my fear is since she's holding off waiting for him to say, strike the testimony she's not going back on so transcripts can stay private. If she releases them like she's supposed to NOW he will be too late. That's why I say there's a personal angle here with JSS.

Did Sherry deem it true that JM committed prosecutorial misconduct AND that there was kiddie 🤬🤬🤬🤬 found on TAs computer? Seems like she did! Isn't there supposed to be papers filed outlining these decisions??
Can JM or the State do anything to protect themselves?

I do not know how a judge becomes death penalty qualified, but I'm pretty sure a judge would know that they are going to be death penalty qualified.

If you think that is true about JSS that she may be anti death penalty, then why would she allow herself to be a judge in such a trial?

I really am unsure how the procedure works and if someone can help out and clarify that would be great.

Maybe she had no choice?

Personally, I could not even be on the jury.

BBM <---And that's why they shouldn't be called to testify as an expert witness. The defense is supposed to hire witnesses that can testify and whose credentials are known and accredited... experts IOW. If this was the only witness they had that knew anything and couldn't put him on the stand in open court, JSS should have told them it wasn't going to happen. Secret witnesses, secret testimony, secret sidebars, secret motions and secret rulings, and now secret identify & credentials for an "expert". Wonder if the jury will be able to divulge the sentence, if and when they ever get a chance to deliberate?

Even trials in third world countries are more transparent than this one. It's absolutely appalling. I think JSS should immediately be removed as the presiding judge.

Only every second of every day...

Or that she has another personal axe to grind; e.g. possible motives such as:

  • Dislike for JM?
  • Sense of obligation to LKN for making him stay on the case?
  • Personal feelings for JW -- or more likely, JA?
  • Some combination thereof?

No, no, no! We are too close to the end. We really are. I know it doesn't feel that way, but in the scheme of things, we are in the home stretch. Please no... not for Travis or the Alexanders.

This is EXACTLy what this defendant wants- for us to turn on the judge.

She hopes someone goes searching for the identity of the secret data analyst and blabs it all over.

She hopes an unsuspecting dismissed juror or active juror slips up and says or does something she can cry foul over.

This is EXACTLY what she was doing to TRAVIS- HER VICTIM. Causing girlfriends to turn on him... trying to cause friends to do the same.

No doubt Sherry has made a mess of things. I totally agree. I do not agree, however, with falling directly into the hands of a manipulative psychopath or her band of merry thieves.

This is EXACTLY the game of the lying, torturing murderer... this is exactly what she is waiting and wanting to happen.

I will NOT give her what she wants.

JM shouldn't fight against the prosecutorial misconduct charge? Should not fight against TA being accused of pedophilia? I doubt JM is scared of the likes of JA or Sherry or whomever else is catering to her. (I never "turned on the judge"....couldn't stand her from the beginning)

JMO but "Cameras" should NOT have be approved on a DAILY basis, including morning and/or afternoon basis, in this re-trial.

The Cameras should be running the entire time court is in session ... period !

No Excuses :

- "I won't testify with the cameras on"
- "I'm Mr Pseudo Witness John Smith"
- "I do NOT want the public to see me in my jail uniform"

:gaah:

BBM

What JA wants is special treatment.

She wants considerations and respect extended to her that she herself would never extend to another.

E.g., the right and the ability to assassinate her murder victim's character as she assassinated his body, the right and the ability to hide behind secret testiphony and not be held accountable to the truth.

JA wants this testiphony to remain sealed in the face of the CoA's and SC's rulings to release it.

JSKS is giving her all of these things.

JSKS, not your fellow WSers, is the one who is giving JA exactly what she wants.

After being b*tchslapped by the Supreme Court, #JodiArias judge relents and orders release of "secret" testimony.

The transcript of the #JodiArias secret is 400 pages. 400 pages.

A novel if you will. Book reviewers call it a wonderful work of fiction.

If she was removed, wouldn’t the trial just continue and move forward? For example, if a judge, for whatever reason, could not continue couldn’t a replacement judge just take over or would the trial be deemed a mistrial and have to start all over? IDK, just asking.

That is NOT what I said- at all. What a drag. I was speaking of us- fellow court watchers and jurors. You don't have to agree with me, but you also don't need to misrepresent what I wrote.

No, not according to what AZ Lawyer said. I'll go see if I can find her post in regard to this.

Just call me Confused.

From the Court Minute Entries: “Defendant’s Motion in Limine to Preclude the State From Eliciting Testimony Regarding
“Work Drives” is argued and denied.”

Doesn’t that mean the State CAN bring in testimony regarding the drives analyzed by ? and the Mysterians … ??? I thought yesterday’s “reporting” stated otherwise.

Anyone know if LKN has ever argued a case in front of the AZ Supreme Court before?
