So here is what I am thinking . . . . Dr. MF has already published that she did not feel that sexually aggressive perpetrator convicted offenders being warehoused in jail or prison is helpful to them. She likened the prison system to an "institute of higher learning" for offenders, an stated it made them worse instead of better and they were more abusive when they got out. I think the DT is going to get her to state that on the stand in the upcoming days.

If this Aiken person then gets called to the stand to testify to something similar about prison and death row - could the DT garner sympathy for Jodi to get the DP off the table? (I know that this argument could backfire - as this theory would lead one to think she should never be let out on the streets). But it might fit with DT wanting certain witnesses to testify in certain orders.

It's hard for me to see how they would feel sorry for her under any circumstances after she has spent all this time trashing Travis.

May I ask what makes you think that she's a hermaprodite? Did Dr.F. Imply this or is it your gut feeling?

Happy Thanksgiving from Sedona! Where pumpkin pies swirl around in a vortex in your backyard!

LOL! Happy Thanksgiving to you too! There are no calories in the vortex, right? KCL thanks for the stuffed pumpkin idea. I'm making that right now, not following the recipe very closely at all (which is what the recipe itself recommended) and it smells so good. Thanks!

I love this thread when we are "In-recess" because it is so easy to moderate.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Keep safe.

While I have your attention, can you please edify me about tweet sharing on this thread so I don't screw it up (again)? I'm thinking it's just for the tweets from the media and discussion? Am I right? Yes or no Ma'am! lol :seeya:

I'm in the "camp" with Val1. I've known several transgender and he/she individuals. I commented about this in the first trial. Maybe CMJA is just big boned, but she sure has big hands and a hard jaw line. Maybe she's just chock full 'o testosterone. I had a great friend, years back, who went the whole gender reassignment who would have been a dead ringer for CMJA's "sister", but far more pretty and exotic.
The phrases "tired", and "just a boy in a dress" come to mind.................RuPaul would have a field day....

Hahaha! Sourdough bread chunks, onion, celery, a small diced Granny Smith apple, Jarlsberg Swiss cheese, a little Parmesano Reggiano la Roca, toasted sprouted pumpkin seeds, a few chopped fresh cranberries, sage, thyme, ground black pepper and moistened it with half veggie broth and half cream.

Shall we talk Thanksgiving in the Sidebar so LambChop can continue relaxing today?

IIRC, which may not be correct because sometimes my brain scrambles, Jodi said in her Yreka interviews that she had breast implants and that her Dad told her that she had her bottom fixed (implying that she was too young to remember). It would explain the large hands, feet and the wide shoulders. Also the 'she was very strong' comment made by Ryan Burns. It may also explain what we have regretfully seen in photos of her.
There is something more than just evil that comes out when observing her behavior.

Newbie confession; messed up again! This was in reply to post 478 that questioned if JA was a hermaphrodite.

May I ask what makes you think that she's a hermaprodite? Did Dr.F. Imply this or is it your gut feeling?
It is a gut feeling. I have had it from early on. It also makes me wonder if that wasn't what some of the secret meetings and her need to testify secretly this time was all about. Another Pity Party Ploy from an evil murderer.

IMO there is definitely something going on with HER.

The possibility of a sibling being her child does, IMO, offer a somewhat reasonable justification for JSS sealing her testimony. That would have consequences for an innocent person that are pretty difficult to imagine. If that is the secret, I for the first time ever, might actually understand JSS's ruling, and even see JA's life prior to the murder in a new light. It would also be something that I'd think the jurors would not be able to dismiss from their minds if her testimony is stricken. No, it doesn't justify murder at all or change the validity of the conviction, I'm not saying that, but it would have an impact on her sentencing, for me. For all those reasons, and especially for what that could mean to the innocent, I really hope this is not the case and JSS simply lost her legal mind for a bit. But I admit it did give me pause, and up to now I've only seen her as a monster that deserves the DP. I hate this trial and all the ugly in it...

Yes, that would be something for secret testimony. However, I do not think that is it in this case because IIRC reasons of JSS ruling as she did was sent to the CoA under seal. It sounds as though whatever the reasoning was, it was not something dire enough to justify setting aside the First Amendment.

I think killer's testimony was secret so she could say things even more outrageous than she already has--outside the court of public opinion. For her and her team, the public has no place in this trial beyond paying the bills.

What is turkey soy casserole?

It's made with soy curd instead of turkey. IOW, tofu. They flavor it to taste like turkey but it's still--tofu. Bean curd.

Thanks, but no thanks.

KCL, I love the picture with Juan. Both of you are so happy! I can imagine what a joy it was for him to run into someone who knew all about him, while still in the afterglow of the award presentation. What a day in the life, eh? And such a surprise thrill for you! Nothing but nothing matches these spontaneous moments.

Got my turkey in the oven. Reading all the posts. Your minds are amazing. First it never occurred to me that JA would be transgendered. What a good little story to tell to the jury. Why not? She has tried everything else.

I am very simple minded. I personally think she took a pill or some meth on her way to see Travis that gave her super strength. You have to remember she was into pot at the age of 14, and into the occult with Bobby Juarez by 17. You KNOW she knows about drugs. Those are facts. Of course, once Travis was stabbed or shot, Jodi didn't need much strength to finish the job. Since she wasn't tested, we will never know. Anyway, deceit is her middle name.

Second, about her giving birth to a child when she was very young, possibly her own sister? Here goes. I am a mother and to me, that would have softenend her heart, not made her into a psycho. I guess I have seen so many people through my lifetime who have faced and overcame so much adversity, that I have NO PITY for this murderer. I do not care what she said on the witness stand, whether she was raped, beaten, gave birth, did drugs! Whether she is male or female, so what?!........what it all comes down to is that she made a sweet young man pay with his life because he wasn't going to marry her and give her the life she wanted. A life she did not deserve, never worked for. She had a sense of entitlement. I feel certain that had he married her, she would have one day killed him....or their children. She has a black heart.

No. You cannot make me cry for her, feel sad for her. She did this. She chose her path. She lied. She covered it up. And I believe she was on her way to do it again.

I think that if that was the reason, the testimony would have maybe been sealed for a long time. The secret testimony that was heard in court, was going to be released right after the JA verdict in December/January. The person would have had to deal with the consequences in January or whenever there's a verdict anyways.

I'm kind of puzzled at all these scenario's that are being presented all out of a sudden. Jodi being a hermaphrodite, Jodi having a secret child, Jodi on meth. What's going on?

Iirc, when her dad gave an interview with Det Flores, he is the one who mentioned Jodi having surgery on her backside. I never saw any interview with Jodi where she said her dad told her that and she didn't remember. I have had required surgeries, never cosmetic, and you do NOT forget being cut on. It hurts! She is so full of lies and bs. Even when you cut Your finger it hurts!!

What she did to Travis was horrible. She is an animal making him suffer like that.

I have a question that has been nagging at me.

Didn't Dr. MF mention something about Travis having a noose and only 3 people knew about that? I think it was when JM was questioning her about Travis' suicidality and alleging that she had diagnosed Travis.

I do not remember anything about Travis having a noose from the first trial . . . anyone else?
