This is their ploy to throw poor Travis under the bus once again for not loving Jodi forever and ever. This is very sad and maddening at the same time.

Because I do not believe this at all. If there was porn on the computer she would have stood by the story of seeing him on the computer, not with paper pics that swirled to the floor- once.

I'd also like to understand Nurmi's definition of porn, since he likes to think a yotube video of people dancing to a popular song constitutes porn and makes Travis a deviant.

I'm not gonna worry yet. Everything is telling me this makes no sense. I need to see Juan's rebuttal to this before I panic.

I will say that I'd previously thought it odd that a grown man who was clearly aware of pornographic phrases on the phone sex call did not have any porn.

But the only way to wipe this porn away would be to wipe out the hard drive and all the information would be gone. That clearly didn't happen here. You can't just delete something, it would have been found unless the hard drive was wiped.

Swung for fences? That's not how I would describe it. If this "expert" is like their guy who testified about what could be seen in TA's eyes from a photo, Nurmi needs to be SANCTIONED. Enough of turning this trial into a freak show.

Also, they claim the PD did this on June 9, 2008. Jodi was arrested on July 15. Again, why would they destroy evidence before they even had Jodi in custody and knew what her story would be?

I see Dectective Flores as a man of enormous integrity. I do NOT believe he would do any such thing. And even if he did, do you really think JM would have looked the other way?

This has JACK's dirty little finger prints all over it. Have faith. We knew it was going to get uglier ...and it is. One more path to delay for Nurmi. Bet he thinks he's tainting the jury too, given his paranoia that they all rush home to read and post on Twitter about JACK.

They need to prove the dates and times, IP address. You can't download porn onto another person's computer remotely.

If that was the case, sex predators would get off (no pun intended) on child porn charges.

The death penalty was never established to be a deterrent so that others wouldn't commit murders. Just like LWOP doesn't deter them. No one plotting a murder is going to think.' Oh wait, I cant kill him/her because I may get the death penalty or locked away for life.' There are always going to be people who committ heinous and cruel murders way above what society is willing to accept with just a life sentence or LWOP as the punishment. The death penalty was implemented to be carried out on individuals when these individual murders were heinous, premeditated, and cruel ....among other legal factors that can make a case rise to a death penalty one.

I am not sure the DP will ever be eradicated. The last poll I read stated over 70% of Americans are still in favor of the death penalty. Some states have it but never carry them out like CA so they should just abolish it altogether. But then you have states like Texas and Florida and the appeals don't go on for 20 years but are usually wrapped up in about 8-10 years and the DR inmate is executed. Many states continue to carryout the death penalty. Some executing several a year.

I honestly want JA to get the death penalty and nothing else because SHE is deserving of no less. Anything less and this witch will see it as a win. I don't want her to think she/KN has won at anything. I don't want her gloating that she once again was crafty enough to pull the wool over another juror(s) eyes with her bald face lies. And believe me if she hoodwinks them again she will gloat until she looks like an engorged toad.

I want her to hear just what the jury thinks of her by telling her she deserves to die. I really don't care if she rots away in prison waiting for her death date that may or may not ever come from being executed. I just want her to know she is a 'dead woman walking' and one day she will have no control over her life as to whether she lives or dies. The same power she took away from Travis to live and instead gave him an execution date.

Now, I could live with it if she was given LWOP and locked down in a cell 23/24 of everyday. But to know that she will be put in GP one day and will have enablers to coddle her is just not acceptable to me. She is a master manipulator and it wouldn't take her long to manipulate others for her own personal gain. Even the thought of that makes me want to barf.

I agree 100% with everything you are saying. I also think that more "forms" of execution are needed. I realize there are people who would disagree, and say the DP is "cruel and inhumane"... well too bad, it is much more humane than the slaughter Travis had to endure. CMJA literally butchered him alive. I apologize if I offend anyone, not my intent. I am just so sick and tired of Travis' memory being butchered all over again. Hopefully this Jury does the right thing and gives this monster a dose of reality. Sorry for the rant.

Another strike for logic:

Why would Flores jeopardize his case against Jodi by unnecessarily destroying evidence against her when what he had was rock solid? It would be a monumental act of stupidity.

The DT has been targeting Flores because getting your client off for police misconduct has been pretty successful for other criminals, including Debra Milke. It's why they wanted his records, it's why they've been targeting him and his wife. If they make him look shady enough maybe a future appeals court will see the same and overturn her conviction.

Oh, this is so sad.
