Not certain but the one is for JM to interview BN's employees who supposedly worked on this hardrive & backed BN's testimony. The other sounds like it's a fight about all the motions to drop the charges and dp. Go Juan. This defense is wasting AZ taxpayer money making the Prosecutor file these motions based on not much. jmo

I think you may be right. I hadn't thought of that. If that's what they're trying to do it's failing. You're the only one who picked up on it.

I don't think the Hughes email plays a big factor in mitigation so it's probably best to leave them out at this point. The defense can continue to do damage with their words. I do believe Sky testified in the main trial and they got a guilty verdict so that's good enough. Everyone who followed that trial knows it's all BS and that they were meddling friends who regret it now. Not sure the jury even remembers there was an email at this point, their minds are probably numb, so why bring in the Hughes to remind them?

Everything they have done to this point is for number 5 and 6 on her list and it all blends in together. The jury get the idea. It's whether they choose to believe it that counts I guess.

Her own "secret" testimony which was cut short was for number 4. Looks like Dr. G was given instructions to work on that one too.

So far they have presented evidence for numbers 4,5 & 6. Pretty much all lies though. So if the jury sees it that way they can throw that out.

Not sure about the "diagnosed as PTSD" one. I think Dr DeMarte will squash that one. The BPD? Yeah...so what? I think number 9 is a bust too.

The age? Means nothing. 27 is not a young girl.

No prior criminal history? That should never be a mitigating factor in a murder trial such as this. We all know she's done other criminal things, just not been caught. And for her first big one...it was a doozy.

Dr. Demarte sees right through her and Jodi doesn't like it when people don't believe her lies She hates them even more if they can logically dispute the reason for them.
Dr. Demarte is calm and professional, unlike the hired guns the defense had.
Dr. Demarte laid waste to the defense like a nuclear bomb hitting a pop gun.

I just came across this article while trying to find more on the calls JA made in that last month and was quite surprised that I hadn't heard about this June 15th call previously... does anyone know anymore about it? Was it another call where she was listening to his messages, because otherwise I don't know how they would have known she had called if TA's voicemail was full and the call wasn't answered, do calls register as having tried even if it's not answered?

As sick as it may sound she could have shot him while he slept. But that wasn't enough. She wanted him to suffer. She turned his own shower/bathroom into a torture chamber. How can you torture someone to death, slander his name, show no remorse and then have the nerve to believe that you're entitled to life?

Ok, this may sound totally off the wall, but I'm going to throw it out here anyway. BN has two witnesses. One we all know is Tony. The second one BN could not say with words, but wrote down the "secret" name on paper and handed it to Juan. The only person who was "allowed" to speak in secret was JA. Does anybody else think it could possibly be Jodi <modsnip> Arias? None of us really know for sure what she was able to get her grimy paws on while she played an attorney for a month or so. Who else could it possibly be?
This new computer evidence << and I use that word loosely, was all JA's doings, so it has to be her? I guess it could possibly be her PI Dorian Bond ? But how could his name be a "secret" in a court of law?"

I would think that the longer they've stuck with it, the more invested they'll feel, and more likely to tough it out to the end. At least, that's how I'd feel.

I have a really good feeling about this jury that's been getting stronger throughout the farsical DT display. I believe they will become even more convinced and solidified once JMs witnesses testify. Bad mistake on DTs part letting this trial go into the new year imo.

I do feel that way and I'm not on the jury. I've accepted that we'll never know the truth about much of this case, but I want to know her sentence. I want the jury to finish their job this time, but who knows what will happen.

Even if they deadlock we will have a sentence, but I am praying they will not have any trouble finding consensus on whichever sentence they decide is the right one.

I'm having a little trouble with being anxious for it to be overwith. It's taking much too long, IMO. They should be in court today. I am at work. Many of you are at work. WTF, AZ?

I'm very very very interested in hearing what JSS will say (if anything) about this trial when it's all over. I hope she will speak about it.

Yes. If you watch the YouTube video from which these stills are screencapped, you will see that it's the point of Juan's pen.

The quality of the stills we have now is SO bad. Please don't waste your time finding electrical flashes in reflections and weapons in things that are not even part of the image. We are not going to find new evidence here.

They blew it. Had this jury been deciding her fate right as Christmas was approaching, I think that fact alone would have helped immensely in contributing to LWOP. I know it's not supposed to... but who are we kidding?

I woke up this morning to my husbands radio alarm going off playing Feed The World and started crying. It just feels different this time of year. As it should, IMO.

I'm glad she is that kind of fool. For the sake of the Alexander family.
