Jodi Arias Demands Previously Undisclosed Reports on Police Probe of Victim's Laptop

"Jodi Arias accuses her prosecutor of lying and demands the immediate release of forensic reports related to her victim's laptop in a court motion filed on Wednesday...

Now, Arias and her court-appointed defense team are asking Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens to order the prosecution to "make available to the defendant any and all forensic reports generated by any member of the Mesa Police Department and/or anyone working on their behalf whose work is related [to the laptop]."..."

After Travis?

Couldn't have been after Travis as she was in jail ever since July 2008. Travis is the only human she has killed, affirmed by the state and the defense.

Thanks for this Dmacky, unbelievable, this psycho killer hasn't even been sentenced yet and somehow her liaries get released to the public. Is this some kind of joke ?

No joke. They are public records now and can be released to the public if they are requested. jmo

There was between the TA murder and her arrest. She had weapons.....

Madeleine TA is the only one you know she killed. We do not know everything. And she had 2 knives and a gun with her when she was arrested. Someone was next. She is among those we consider to be the worst of the worst.

I do not believe JSS will release the transcript of the secret JA testimony. I imagine her to say it will be released after trial. She just appears so biased in favor of the defense. I am sure this latest defense motion to compel will hold up the trial in some way. I am beginning to think the judge and attorneys are enjoying this whole trial. Much to the displeasure of the Alexander family.

I know you're not the only one, but in comparison to mass murderers, the Holocaust where 10 million+ people were murdered, serial killers, and the millions of people who have been murdered/butchered/raped/tortured over the millenia from centuries before up to current day, no Arias is not even in the ballpark, not even close to any ballpark. She's been made to be much more important and powerful than she actually is. Some have imbued her with supernatural powers beyond any comic book character. In reality she's a nobody, a common, disordered, unbalanced woman who killed out of spite and jealousy. She's no worse than other female killers who have done the same thing, and no better either.

I completely agree with you. I believe what has happened in this case is that we "know" the victim, so the slaughter is personalized. For mass killings/tortures/enslavements, our senses are blunted by the fact that except for close kin, there is no "knowing" the victims; they tend to be categories, e.g. captive women, LGBTs, Jews, Gypsies, Africans, Tutsi, lepers, albinos, witches...... In fact, the perpetrator(s) MO is to de-personalize their targets. A Jodi Arias might try to de-personalize her victim, but can't pull it off, because a) she's not a mob; b) he wasn't marginalizable and c) he had lots of people who can tell the truth about TA as a person.

I've been thinking how ridiculous it sounds about JA's saying that she gets death threats in jail, and she's afraid to testify in court unless it is secret.
She only allowed POSTCARDS.... I'm sure the people who work at Estrella would definitely not give her POSTCARDS that had death threats on them!

Of course when she went on her 1st media tour, she was even claiming back then that the ninja's had sent her threatening notes while she was still in California.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxU8qKolYJA

It doesn't make sense to me either unless someone threatened her on a phone call or visit. I don't think that happened. Total hogwash to me.

No see, what you aren't getting- Jodi is getting death threats- it's called the Death Penalty, LOL!!!

I agree with you Madeleine74, this is basically a domestic homicide. Yes a horrible one, but Jodi is not up there with the worst of the worst. On Dr Michael Stone's scale of evil she may be a 2, or a 7, but there are a lot worse than Jodi. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129175964

The thing that makes it so bad is how she tortured him, overkill x3 and the sheer number of stab wounds. If it was truly self-defense, she could've just shot him and left, or shot him in his sleep, but she wanted him to know who his killer was and suffer!!!

No, not self defense, you know she is probably a 7 on the scale of evil:

7. Narcissists
Highly narcissistic killers who are often possessive, not distinctly psychopathic, but "with a psychopathic core." They typically kill loved ones or family members out of jealousy.

Prosenjit Poddar
In 1968, college student Prosenjit Poddar met Tatiana Tarasoff at a dance class in California. They dated briefly but she rejected him. Poddar then told his therapist about wanting to kill her. His therapist wanted to commit him to hospital, but Poddar convinced campus police he was not dangerous. In the summer of 1969, after she returned from a vacation, Poddar stabbed Tarasoff to death with a kitchen knife. Poddar was convicted and deported back to India after his conviction was overturned. Her parents sued the campus police for failing to warn that their daughter was in danger. This led to the famous Tarasoff decision, which ruled physicians now must warn potential victims of a psychiatric patient.

OFGS- this chick needs to be carted off to die in prison. I'm so sick of this. I feel so badly for the Alexander Family.

From the article:

The real issue, of course, is why anyone should care about Alexander's 🤬🤬🤬🤬 habits, whatever they were. Her story of self-defense still doesn't hold up.

No kidding.

BBM. Oh, I'm not at all saying it was. It just goes to show the extent of her evilness, which is why people think she qualifies as the worst of the worst- even if she only had one victim. But she isn't done killing her victim, only now she's doing it through character assassination. And had she not been caught when she had, she probably would have killed others (?Mimi, the Hughes's). She had a gun and knives on her.

We don't know Travis, we know about Travis because of the coverage of his murder in the media. TV and the Internet gives people the feeling like they are right there in the courtroom or in the house of the victim, but that's a false sense of intimacy. Regardless of her motive or anyone's motive, she killed him, she didn't perpetrate this murder against people of the Interwebs, even though some feel that way. That's why I appreciated seeing that documentary about the Inquisition, which put this case right into perspective. Arias is only as important as spectators who make her important.

BTW I actually do (or did when they were still alive) know people who escaped Germany in the 1940's and a couple people whose families were wiped out when the Nazi's sent their parents, aunts, uncles to concentration camps. I remember seeing the tattoo'd number on one person's arm. It was faded but it was still there. Compared to a case of 1 jealous rejected female who killed the guy who rejected her, Arias who?

Happy New Year!! I was out of town since Christmas and am just catching up. Can someone tell me if the court has released the super secret testimony yet? Off to read what I missed...

Welcome back pink,
Unfortunately, you haven't missed a thing. The answer is still No.

Not to mention how she continues to impugn his character and kill his memory over and over and over in court. ALL with 100% baseless lies. Nothing but her lying lips moving made is so for at least one juror during the first lap. Can't blame Jodi for his stupidity, but I can sure blame her for lying.
