What??? The courthouse roof leaks???

If it snowed they'd have to close the courthouse for a week!

In response to another comment upstream....I think the reason Nurmi has to ask Arias repeatedly how she feeeeels, because he realizes that she sounds cold and detached. It was down right creepy when she admited she had killed Travis in a nonchalant sort of way...as she could not be bothered to actually FEEL bad about it or even admit to it at all....this whole courtroom thing just wasting her time.

Yup...I hate that the jury is being left with the impression that Travis was a horrible boyfriend. Truth of the matter is they were not BF/GF anymore and had not been for a long time prior to the murder. They were friends with benefits, and I think the friends part depended on the benefits. I hope it is thoroughly impressed upon the jury that Jodi Arias did not kill her boyfriend! Victim was her ex, and had been ex for some time!

Me too. I hope Juan makes this clear. And that her psycho self MOVED away and still kept in touch with her so called abuser.

So cold (her - not the snow). Cold and creepy that one. I think she sits in her cell at night, sticking needles in drawings of her 'haters'.

ETA: or whatever she can steal to serve as needles. Pens?

You will have a thread for tomorrow because there is an hearing tomorrow also. Let's see how this one progresses today. If we get up to 1000 posts we usually put up a new thread. So you will have a hearing thread for tomorrow and one for the weekend. Monday will be trial Day 15. So only two weeks of actual trial since the start of jury selection on September 29th.

Did someone mention trial numbers? :D

I'm up to day 8 in doing tallies. Through the first 7 actual trial days, the grand total of hours spent on actual testimony is:

19 hours. That is all.

Less when sidebars are subtracted, a total of 43 sidebars for those days, some lasting for as long as 5 minutes.

I'm thinking he didn't ask her because he is waiting until his expert witnesses to take the stand and ask them about unaccredited degrees and what the mean in the professional world. I think he did a depo on her so he knows that her response will be a lot of blah blah blah so why ask the question. IMO

She'd likely tell the jury JM was mischaracterizing her education.

Don't throw eggs (please)

My biggest fear is like in the Casey trial the computer forensics were only done on the Internet Explorer (remember the 84 times?) , and we later find out that the Firefox had all the real evidence of Casey's. It took one Atty from AZ (sound familiar?) to uncover the real dirt after the trial.

I know this is different but I don't have computer savvy.

Yup. Thinking of names that she'll call them in her book. You know it's coming. :sigh:

I never thought about why Nurmi did the feeeel thing. Was too annoyed by it. I think you're right!

TA family and supporters just sat down.

Tanisha's husband has no suit on again. I see the pattern now. Hearing = no suit. #JodiArias

I hope that JSS took advantage of the time off from court trial and actually researched some info about computers.
