Rose, I used to think JSS was inept. Now I am sure she doesn't like JM, maybe from the days when she was a prosecutor, I dunno. But for her to be so biased is sickening. It is my own opinion.

I really think that the defense team can only come up with these female "sexperts" of a certain age because anyone younger could not in good conscience testify to this with a straight face. They would be too familiar with sexual behaviors in the modern (LOL) age which, unfortunately, includes social media.

Amazing how the physical abuse allegations have disappeared.

How long ago were ALV and Fonseca educated? Time to be put out to pasture. :cow:

IMO, it's not the age, it's the conscience or lack thereof that is salient.

the only explanation I can come up with is that the judge doesn't like Juan or wants him to ask her to tell the witness to act more respectful. To ME it seems like the judge doesn't care for Juan at all.

But the opposite argument can also be made. As Lambchop pointed out earlier, the Dr's disrespect and combativeness are only digging the DT's grave. Maybe JSS's inaction actually benefits JM.

Say what you will about this judge, I doubt she lets her likes and dislikes influence her.

It's normal everywhere that appeal courts get to decide how quickly they will rule. In this case, though, I expect a ruling this week. JMO

In other words, in SECRET!

Judges' conferences are always private. Their rulings, of course, are public, except in this trial. And that one court where the NSA goes to get wiretaps retroactively approved.

I think the Judge never fully recovered from the first circus, I think she "walks on eggshells." I think she is on a roller coaster ride that for some reason has her scared or intimidated her and she is just hanging on waiting for the ride to end. I think the fact that a grand jury had to over rule her in the midst of this trial unsettled her further. I have no doubt that she is aware of a lot of the criticism, unless she heeds her own words to ignore media regarding this trial. I think she is lost and overwhelmed. I would hate to be in her shoes. It can get mentally exhausting watching this trial with all of you, but having to be "in charge" of these players - the DT, would be a challenge. I think other judges could have done better, but that is only speculation. MOO

She should be unbiased for courtroom decor. However, she most definitely SHOULD be on teamJuan for sentencing phase. A convicted murderer is sitting in front of her and Travis could have been her son! Yes, I guess you could say my feelings are STRONG!
