So they screwed up their 2008 copy as well and want JM to provide them another one so they can copy it and return it to him? I don't think they've been able to provide one copy of either the 2008 or 2009 copies that has not been altered by them? Is that correct?

I will NEVER understand this judge. She, without equivocation, tells the state/JM to do things IMMEDIATELY yet lets the DT languish, stall, undermine, lie, and stomp, unimpeded, all over the consititution, jury, taxpayers and victims' rights. Not to mention making a mockery of the court system. Just shameful, and to me she appears to be pro defense, if not an activist judge at this point.

I totally agree. It's absolutely shameful what she is permitting the DT to do.

Must be. But why did Jodi want to look at the computer if not to make their own copy? Why is the HD damaged if they never actually touched it? If Juan truly wants something he already has I get what they're saying. But he seems to have his suspicions about something.

This trial was the perfect storm, IMO.

Death Penalty on the table;
A manipulative and vindictive sociopath avoiding sentencing;
A particularly devious defence team;
The weirdest defence expert witnesses in the country;
A 'strange' judge;
and a prosecutor battling on many fronts, with the hand of the law tied behind his back.

No wonder it's a mess.

Surely the jury can see through this garbage. Even if the killer was truly abused by Travis (which all know is not true), she was away from him and safe. Why brutally murder him? Why not say good riddance and move forward.
I don't think I can take this hired so called expert Dr. Today. Why are all these expert Doctors from CA?

It will be worth researching the credentials. Are they from accredited organizations? Do they have a police record? Are they highly rated in the field? Did the organizations exist for more than a year? How many of them are actually different branches of the same organization? How many of the organizations were started by Geffner? How many actually have recognizable and qualified board members/officers/managers..... What kinds of journals as he published in? Are these journals subject to peer-review? Are they in the top 20 journals in his field of expertise?

I believe you will find that Geffner's credentials are half-baked. It is very, very easy to generate credentials that sound impressive. Also, Geffner, IIRC, was censured by a judge for being unprofessionally and overly partial to a defendant (translation: guilty of BS).

When Jodi testified in secret, was the jury there? If so, she should be forced to submit to cross-examination so Juan can rebut anything she said. The defense has already put these claims she made in the jurors' heads. Even if the judge says they have to ignore them, they're already out there now. I honestly don't believe she was abused by anyone. If anyone yelled at her or spanked her with a spoon, you can guarantee that it was because they had had it with her with her sass and deceit.

Because unlike the rest of us that would react rationally and stay away, poor Jodi is mentally ill and doesn't react and do things the way the rest of us would.

It appears to me that JA's secret testimony included claims of child abuse, and God knows what else; so, if she has in fact made these allegations can Juan play the Troy Hayden interview in which she states that (paraphrased) when it comes to mitigating factors it is a joke among her and the DT that she wasn't abused enough? TIA

I wonder if that was the reason behind the hilarious suggestion that it was JM's fault that she did that interview. To preclude him from using it. Good ole proactive Nurmi.
