Jodi was held at knife point when she was 13. A boy they knew did it and she thought she was going to be raped but he didn't do anything.

She was probably stealing his 'pot'

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ now
Gef is saying Jodi did smoke pot but he says this isn't unusual or uncommon in depressed people and when people internal things #jodiarias

--

Do they also grow it?

  • #764
Check out the genders on the circular chart....... This chart must have been devised in the early 1970's. He/him=perpetrator; she/her = victim; she defends the children. "Treating her like a servant"......we all know that this is evolving into an analysis of JA's maid duties.

Or in the 2010s by ALV or Dr F.

He would threaten them with belt so when he would get home the kids were in constant fear #jodiarias #3tvarias

The man owned and ran a restaurant. I sincerely doubt he hung around the house much.

Geff says #JodiArias grew pot at 17 bc it masked the pain and dulls the brain..................

--
ANDDDD he lost me. I was just starting to feel a bit of sympathy. She grew pot to get HIGH. Plain and simple.

  • #767
Well geesh guys!!! She and her brother are saying they may or may not have been beaten with a spoon or belt, and threatened to be hit with one. So that, like,uh,totally mitigates her stabbing her lover in a jealous rage 27 times, nearly decapitating him and then shooting him in the face. OF COURSE! Duhhhh

  • #768
Was this ever reported? Who wouldn't report that they were held at knife point?

  • #769
That is not how I understood it when I read it. What say you AZL? I'm assuming she DID start to testify... it says if she did, that they SHALL be unsealed. What am I misunderstanding. You always explain everything so well.

TIA AZL.

I think they were ordering the transcript to be unsealed NOW.

ALZ how does Juan question Carl in his affidavit?

It sounds like it's the transcript of an interview/deposition, not an affidavit. JM used part of the same transcript when he questioned Dr. F, so I assume he was there.

And why is this coming in with a shrink? And not from Carl and father directly??? Even mother. NOT one family member willing to step up?

Scared of purging themselves?

I think Bill is going to be the excuse for the metal fog from ages 12 -14. I'm sure incest is going to come up. I wonder how Sandy's going to handle that in front of everyone?

Was this ever reported? Who wouldn't report that they were held at knife point?

People who are in a dispute over a drug deal.

#jodiarias was victim of an attempted attack by 13 boy (similar age) with a knife. But nothing happened. DrG says she was traumatized.

I guess we're not going to get the name of this boy so he can defend himself from this accusation?

  • #773
I reckon they recently read the book "Brain Damage--the 13th Juror" and it gave the DT and CMJA the idea. Brain Damage, yes, that's the ticket.:jail:

I wonder if they've read the research on how smoking marijuana when young(under 18 iirc) can also "damage" how the brain functions?

An Aunt told Geffner now a days this would be looked at as abuse #jodiarias #3tvarias

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 2m2 minutes ago
From 9-11 years old this is when the belt spanking was occurring #jodiarias #3tvarias

Jeffrey Evan Gold ‏@jeffgoldesq 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias had a pattern of "learned helplessness" giving in to the punishment. And just wanting to cope with it.

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 2m2 minutes ago
Geffner says Jodi told him Carl got it worse than her and Carl said Jodi got it worse #jodiarias #3tvarias

So they both were lying to you and neither got it. LOL Good Grief.

How about the evidence we have of Jodi telling the news person that she had a great family life growing up and nothing to use as mitigating factor because her mom or dad didnt beat her.

Jodi was held at knife point when she was 13. A boy they knew did it and she thought she was going to be raped but he didn't do anything.

Why would she think "raped"?

Why not think she would be stabbed or cut . . . . why the leap to raped at age 13?

WAT Geff says #JodiArias grew pot at 17 bc it masked the pain and dulls the brain..................

It was fourteen get you facts straight. and according to Bill and Sandy she became very paranoid accusing them of going through her things. Hell I would of also.

Now we are diagnosing the "FOG" #jodiarias #3tvarias

Jeffrey Evan Gold ‏@jeffgoldesq 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias acc to DrG "appeared to have a good memory except for two periods...the murder and childhood 12-14"

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 1m1 minute ago
Jodi has flashbacks but not full memories. She has gaps from ages 12-14 years old. #jodiarias #3tvarias

Wild About Trial ‏@WildAboutTrial 2m2 minutes ago
#JodiArias told Geff she has a memory gap from ages 12-14. Her other memory gap is on the day of the murder.

Jen's Trial Diaries ‏@TrialDiariesJ 1m1 minute ago
She remembers a boy attacked her with a knife and she got her period. #jodiarias #3tvarias

BBM- Memory gap from the ages 12-14. Huh. When did she start smoking pot? lol

  • #779
So she was traumatized! Lots of people were traumatized at some point or other. How does that mitigate that she brutally murdered a man?!

Geez, maybe they should just let her go. I mean, she obviously is not responsible for anything she has done.

Oy~

Well, I was like that too. Mostly cause I was a teenager and my parents just weren't cool anymore. I wanted to talk with my friends on my laptop, talk boys, google things I shouldn't have been googling, and just being moody in general. It's called being a bratty teenager.

Hurt to hear, but My Dad told me the longest ten years of his life was between my fifteenth and sixteenth birthday.
